I've started touching up since I put in my letter of intent for the team leader job that is open at work so I want to make a good impression or a better one since the mechanics all like me for bringing them goodies every so often and I know of 2 office people that are wanting me to get the job too....form what I have been told I am the most likely one to get it of the 2 of us that put in as I have 12 yrs of driving in Illinois plus being a certified school bus instructor for 4 yrs in Illinois too ..now they just need to post the dang job so they an do interviews LOL

I've had that Reindeer pattern for 17 years. When I first made them I made 45 sets LOL, had my mom and aunt stuff and stitching up while I sewed. I'm so happy to be able to do it again.

sticky pecan rolls, cinnamon rolls like the cinnabon ones, double chocolate brownies, and a cake kinda like a pound cake but was flavored wtih OJ ...was something new I tried and now have to remember where the recipe is LOL

Just had a phone call How is everything I hope Well Glad I have no work today but bad cause I have no money oh well things will work oout just fine. What will happen we will be working on Bad days 12 hours and it will be a rush to get it done
Well This not working is killing me and I can't sleep late I wake up at 4 and thats it than by 6:30 I am ready for bed. The Bar down the street is having a band It starts at 8 Hope I can make it that late its Blues I like that Well thats it for now will check in again

I'm out of cafe francis, Larry forget to pick me up some. Luckliy I found some in a cup from yesterday by the computer. Just needs nuking. Caffine withdrawl headaches are rough. Pass the cinnamon rolls over here, Phyllis. Morning sistahs.

Morning all. or as Nana always said, "Morning Glory!"

Yes, Jaye, the pharmacist let me get another month's worth, but my HMO would not cover it yet, so I had to pay it all. They are the same size, shape and color as my old pill, and I was exhausted on my feet the day I picked them up. Didn't remember to cut the pills the next morning, and never looked at the bottle again because it was supposed to be just replacing one with another.

My first thyroid prescription made me feel so good I could win a marathon! But I was, literally by my body's demands, STARVING all the time, ate everything I saw. Gained 18 lbs in the first 28 days, felt AWESOME except for tight clothes. Doc says, "whoa! nOT good." took me off them, onto a new one. I had a severe migraine, with nausea, every day for 3 weeks. Finally went to doc, he says, " didn't you think it might be the new med?" turned out I dont do well on synthetic hormone. Did fine on the one that smelled like hog, if that darn HMO wouldn't have messed me up I'd still have been fine - just wish we could find one that gave the same boost that first one did - man, my house was so clean, my garden weed free! didn't realized for years how much energy I had lost, how little I had.

morning all. pretty quiet on the home front here. Will do some gardening today, pick all the green maters and get ready to make some chow chow.

Oh! meant to tell everyone, I found some new "Pharmacutical" herb teas at Kroger last night. brought home a tummy soother Ginger one - it made me belch.. and then my tummy was so very nice! there's one for sinuses, for breathing, for PMS and for pregnancy. for colds. they are pricey, tasted...like peppery weeds, the one I got. worked.

Randall's favorite holiday is Halloween. and I've been meaning to make some humbugs for Christmas. can't believe summer is closing up shop already.

Oh forgot, my 18 yr old niece was at moms yesterday. I am going to be a great aunt.

Hey Cindy, when you send me the cd with the paver decorations, how about sending me a copy of the reindeer also???? Pretty please. My Grandkids would love to have a set of them. I used to make bunnies for easter, similar to that, but have no idea where the pattern is. Or tell me the pattern company name, maybe they still make it?

I will give you the pattern #, mine is so worn and I've missplaced some of the instrutions but I've made them so many times I don't need them McCall's 4532 There are tow sizes so you can make the whole family lol

Good morning!

What's everyone doing with their Friday? Any exciting weekend plans? I worked hard outside the past 3 days (weather has been beautiful since Ike passed through). Washed my hair last night (no simple task around here because of the iron in our water - requires using bottled water) so won't be getting sweaty today. Today is inside day. MUST get a friend's 4-wheeler listed on ebay today. Agreed to do it just before we lost power. Need to get the house picked up, some laundry done, and maybe start some sewing projects. Our master gardener group has an open house at a nearby nursery (they are serving wine!) this evening so will stop by there on the way to my DFIL's. DH is bringing bbq, youngest DstepS is meeting us there for dinner. DSS is spending the weekend with us. He's a junior in college and often 'hangs out' with us on weekends. Sounds pretty exciting doesn't it????? lol! So, what are your plans?

I'm digging in my yard all weekend... how exciting is that?

Oh, and DS needs some help at his house, so will go over there some time.

We live such exciting lives, don't we?
