Yep, but one thing you need to know the weigh 7lbs 8oz, I'm thinking of having the made out of thick wood. Then they could stand in window sills

Raleigh, NC

cindy - now I know why I like you so much - my lL live in Sturgis SD! whenever we go to a family get together there, at least 2, sometimes more, folks come in leather and on bikes! DH's from Rapid City. And I will quit fretting so very much that you won't like my jar and get it mailed! Think you will love it!

what goes with Burgundy? well, at Christmas we use hunter green and ivory with it. in the summer time we mix it with deep teal, or rose pink. and when I cut irises, burgundy goes awesome with deep purple, crisp white, ivory, pale blue, or gold. lots and lots of burgundy and all shades of gold bitone irises, just check out "Supreme Sultan" on the plant files under iris. but - I'm no artist.

and now, with shame, I'm never going to be able to post again because on any given day this really is what my living room looks like during iris season - underneath it all truly is a fabulous sofa in shades of a burgundy/mauve, teal, and greens in a foliage pattern. I don't do much bric-a-brac because my dust allergies don't like dusting! Betty will never speak to me again.

hey kewl bon we are alot alike there, i collect boxes also. Dh asked why I had so many boxes laying around, just gave him this sweet smile and said I am collecting them now. you know recycling. He just shook his head. I even pulled a glass liquor bottle out of the trash and said , that is a no no, we do not throw glass away. Got a strange look there also.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Hey GF,
Don't feel bad at all, before A took a picture of my livingroom I threw everything behind the recligners and sofa lol. Dust, I've got it soooooo bad you can write your name it in I HATE DUSTING!!!!! We have 3 big dogs and they are in the house alot, I put them out early in the morning, because I get tried of tripping over them. They are my shadows. I have to close the bathroom door, otherwise they lay at the door waitng for me. Plus we live next to a busy highway and the window are open all the time so yep I've got lots pf dust.

Hiya Sistahs. Catching up on the convo here, it looks like we have biker chickadees on this thread!! Can't call y'all 'chicks' as Kathy's the Chick Mama.
Tina, Tia, and I don't care, I bet those kids raised your eyebrows a couple of times with their conversations? Kids nowadays constantly amaze me with their intelligence. They are so expose to more stuffs than we were.
Yep, it's Debra's living room that her swap sistah needs to take a peek at. Think she might be busy trying to clean up her 'cold storage appliances' being that she lost power for days. We do miss her cheery self.. hope she doesn't stay away too long, like Joey :*(
You are very welcome Joyce. Love is about sharing and giving. Okay..who's giving away something next? (wicked grin)
Those pet pavers make good hose guides too, I bet.
Now I can try my hands at anything, but I can't paint as good as the rest of you.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

LOL
DBF's daughters room is filled with boxes lol. Luckly she doesn't come here often but when she calls and says she's coming I have an hour to get my stuff out of her room.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Jaye, Those patio pals are so easy a child can do them. Want a CD? Candle on it's way should have it tomarrow I think.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Forgot to thank Sis Kathy for redirecting Marion's gifts for us!!
Love you MUCHO!!

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

Why not.. I'd love to try then Cindy!! Thanks!!

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

love you too sis!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Oh that is so beautiful Sis.. Mine are budding, but I'm always a zone behind yours! Lolol!

so I'm not voted off the island? but I do need that teenager at home to finish folding the clothes, just once. That's my iris shipment box from irisloverdee/Snowpeak. and you can't see it, but there's recycled yogurt cups on that table behind the sofa, with iris seeds in them, waiting to be planted this October, my very first crosses. notice, no curtains = allergies. can't figure out why this room looks so bright and cheery - it's so dark I'm always turning on the lamps morning and afternoon.

this is Hope and I, after a day in the iris beds I'm too tired to play, so she accepts a tug game from a foot while I'm in my chair. She's had a haircut for summer due to a massive slew of ticks this year. she looks like a mini golden retriever with her beautiful strawberry blond hair.

I need another cup of coffee--anyone have some? Morning everyone this fine cool day in North FLorida!!! Love it for sure.

Okay now I am curious: Stacey had me pictured short and round--correct! Cindy you said you had me pictured differently--curious how? Tia, Tina Whatever, you must have started at 12!!! Wonderful picture--so nice to see you at last. Lovely group of kids.

Living room pictures--I should take a picture of mine just to make all of you feel better!
Think I will then everyone can relax and say "wow! what a mess". Have a good laugh too. I'm working on it--just slowly as not to overdo it. LOL

I hope Debra joins us again soon. What an ordeal at this time of year. Hope she cehecks her home insurance about food lose in the freezers. Some policies do cover that.

Very happy to hear Jojo was back home. Mess or not mess, home is always the best place to be.

Moring Jaye, love my angel from an angel and "Uncle" angel.

How you feeling Linda Kay? Foot doing okay.

BJ, don't over do it please. County finally came and hauled my huge pile of debris away. Wait a difference it makes in my attitude not seeing that every time I look out the window.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

You all are a barrell of laughs!!

Bon-no worries-it is not dirty-just looks like some clean laundry is all:)

I agree w/ Kathy-gold will be the perfect compliment to the Bugundy considering the colors in the pillows..

Cindy-I have the same problem except worse-the cat likes to be in my lap on the toilet and the dog likes to sit in between legs!!! It gets annoying, but after a while I gave up-if DH isn't home they will sit and scratch at the door!! Mom's dog even gets in there when she visits!! When I take a bath, the cat likes to play in the bubbles and sit on any part of me that is sticking out of the water-usually the buyoys-and thinks it is wonderful to have found the galapagos islands in my tub!!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Oh Kathy and Jaye, wish you were closer, I have a confedrate rose that just isn't doing anything here. To much shade! Son has several so doesn't want anymore. Oh, wait, Deborah--want/need a confederate rose?

Bon just wait I will be the one voted off the island when you see my living room pictures!! Everyone is welcome to laugh when I post.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Morning Tinky. How thoughtful of you to provide bouys for your cat! LOL

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Marion,
I pictured you tall, with brown hair in a chin length, no glasses.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Morning Auntie M-did you see my post to you at the top??

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

And Auntie M-I mean like under 5' and kinda round like the lady in Poltergeist-does that make sense??

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

My cat walks around the hot tub, he almost fell in the morning.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

I can just picture it!!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Oh no Stacey.... I can't imagine Marion looking like that!!!
I've always envision her as on the fluffy side, about 5' 4" and smelling of warm apple pie... never blonde though.. a brunette.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Where did you get the apple pie thing from??ROFL!!!

I don't know why, but I thought like that....I just somehow did....I have been called an oompa loompa before, so I guess anything else is a step up...and not as short as that lady, just as round...

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Morning. My foot is doing ok, as long I keep the vicodin going. ^_^
I can't be at the computer too much, as it will swell, then start to throb, but it is doing a little better. I will get online for a bit, then go back to the recliner for a bit... Back and forth.
Trying to keep up with all of you is a task in itself, but I do my best!

Marion, passing the coffee your way, and anyone else that wants another cup.

Ok, to many typo's corrected, so it is time for a break.
Later
Linda Kay

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Niece, I think we scared her off with our imaginations! She won't be looking at any mirrors soon!!

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

LK-you don't have a laptop you can sit in your recliner with??

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

LK, you certainly deserves a medal for courage. It takes courage to keep up with us here, especially when you're hurting to be moving around too much!!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Well sorry, have always been blonde--much more so when younger!! Generously streaked with gray--earned every strand!! I am 5'4" and pudgy for sure. No glasses, so seeing Cindy. Worn since late teens---trifocals at that. I love hearing how you pictures me. Jaye, I am not really fluffly more tailored, casual.

Oh my am loving this cool day.

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

I've been trying to get to the end of this for 30 min. to post this note to JAYE! ^_^
How is your sinus problem? Try a saline mist in your nose, it cured me several years ago when I was really sick, and you couldn't buy misters back then. I just mised some salt water and sniffed it up my nose. Salt is healing, and the warmth helps reduce the swelling!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Scared who off? Me? No way!! Think it is funny for sure.

Linda Kay, dear, you shouldn't be serving coffee with your foot. Don't over do it, we need you up and running around with us. Do enjoy that coffee though.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

O.k I just love chit chatin' with y'all but I've got mega thingies to do, B-House to finish and get amiled out, my buddies Critters mailed out, dr. appt for my shoulder, I can't raise my arm up very far and it hurts like the dickens.

TTYL, cindy

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

I agree with Audrey... every time I think I'm at the end, and start to say something, I hit refresh, and have to catch up all over again... sheesh..

Now, I forgot what I wanted to say again...

Guess I'll go get dressed and start on "compost central"... see ya'll later.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Me too Cindy, have my to do list and must finish so I can go to bed before midnight.

Later ladies.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Ladies, Just got this funny in my email and had to share.

I have a laptop, but I don't have a wireless connection, so until I get a long cord.....

Linda Kay

What time of the month is your wife most likely to find you attractive?

A study conducted by UCLA's Department of Psychiatry has revealed that a woman's level of attraction to her mate can differ depending on where she is in her menstrual cycle.

For example: A woman who is ovulating is more likely to report that she finds her mate's smell to be more pleasing, if not arousing, and she is more likely to report feeling amorous towards her lover. However, if she is menstruating, or menopausal, she tends to report herself attracted, in general, to men with duct tape over their mouths and spears lodged in their hearts and who are, preferably, also on fire.

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

ok finally got through all of this ..LOL

I have glasses but wear one contact lens in my right eye so I can wear my sunglasses on the bus LOL
Got my first pair of bifocals back in Illinois and had the contacts then but when I went to get more contacts down here I had to have the ye exam again and the doc said have you ever tried mono vision (since my left eye is very good) so that is what I do now but when I get home from work at the end of the day I take it out and use my glasses to read sew and do small stuff.

are we suppose to be putting a pciture of ourselves up?
not sure I even have one of me that is recent unless ya find me in one of the Ru pictures...LOL

I don't care you(Tina) are in bad shape if Cindy is 9 yrs older and I am 4 yrs older and your CRS is worst then both of us ROFL

I wish my Confederate rose would bloom it is nice and big but no buds yet.:-(

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Current picture of myself seems to be eaten up by the memory monster!! :P
If you want to Phyllis, you can do so. Imagining how you all look like by the postings you make sure is fun.
Now Tia, Tina and I don't care.. you're a svelte one! No Cindy, you're not pleasantly plump, just right.
Do you know that size 14 is the average American size, and not your 5,6 or 8!

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Okay ladies clue this old one in. What is CRS? Other than my late husband's initials.

KEWL --duh, bonde sitting here wondering.

Just received this from my sister. Thought you might enjoy.

11 PEOPLE ON A ROPE

Eleven people were hanging on a rope,
under a helicopter.
10 men and 1 woman.
The rope was not strong enough to carry them
all, so they decided that one had to leave,
because otherwise they were all going to fall.
They weren't able to choose that person,
until the woman gave a very touching speech.
She said that she would voluntarily let go of the rope, because,
as a woman, she was used to giving up everything for her
husband and kids or for men in general, and was
used to always making sacrifices with little in return.
As soon as she finished her speech,
all the men started clapping .......

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Lololol.........................
