Deborah,

The pix is SI #25, the ceiling is about 10 to 11 feet high, no it does not go all the way across just half, it starts out wide then narrows to a point into the beam that goes down middle of living room.

Hi Kim,

Are you the one who works construction? I noticed you have an old Singer sewing cabinet. I have one of those too. My mom has an old singer machine that someday I'm going to put in the cabinet.

Holy Cow Kim, are you sure that's your bedroom and not your hot house, Lots of nice looking plants. I have a 50' hose that is hooked up to facuet so I can water all my plants without having to make tons of trips back and forth filling water bucket.

Cindy, where did you go? Look At Dimmer's room. See her dark chair, light walls, lighter ceiling? You can do that with yours. Use monochromatic colors in the same color family for both your walls and ceilings and trim. Same color just different hues. With your furniture being brown I'd stay with neutral colors and use your favorite colors to use as accents: pillows, lamp shades, etc. You could go a shade darker inside the catheral part of your ceiling for depth. Most paint companies have an online site where you can actually see a room like yours painted with the colors you pick out. I'll take a picture of my breakfast room just as soon as I fold the clothes on the table.

I love quilts, can't sew my way out of a paper bag!!!!
Have a friend from out of state visiting for a few days, hard to get computer time....

Haven't found any pictures of me, I always work from the other side of the camera....Laura got out the camera when we cam back from our bike ride last night, getting dark, we're hot, sweaty and tired but it is the best I can do, right now....we finished with "the big kids" last night!!

Deborah, it just makes more sense to me to do it this way; it also lets me spell check. My spelling is so bad it’s funny. I’d be up and down so often, and there is no way to keep up on threads like Sweet Interruptions and Mixed Nuts. I’m glad to share my trick with everyone.

I missed most of the end of the last room and I marked this one as unread, so sorry if I missed anything, but I have to take off.
