I've missed a few days, & loved the pics posted---great roses---only 1 is blooming here right now. Went to a historical home in Kent today (where it was sunny & nice) here it is cloudy & cold! Anyway--I saw a white phlox with a pink eye that I loved---it was short though, & I like the taller varieties. Jo Ann--i have the white gaura---it overwinters well for me--not the pink, though. Here is the white reblooming.
Garden Photos - Part 36
victor, in post 5535061 what is the sedum with rosanne? Love the darker stem.
patti, that caryopteris with the sedum is an eye-catcher.
I believe it's Matrona, Jan. It's been there many years.
Love the color of that DL Pat!
nice DL!!!!! gorgeous rose of course!!!!
Great pictures!!
I have pink gaura that overwintered fine, it is just floppy for me, may not get enough sun, or is too close to a rose bush.
Victor it is one of the ones I got on sale from GC. Name is 'Hush Little Baby'. I think it usually blooms mid season but I was happy to get a preview.
I wish I could get the pink gaura to come back here. Maybe I should try the white next time. That section with the golden caryopteris and 'Purple Emperor' sedum is one of few decent looking parts of the garden now. I really enjoy it this time of year when most other things are past their prime.
Rose is a short climber 'Crown princess Margareta' in it's second year here.
Nice pictures, everyone. I may take some in my gardens tomorrow morning before work if I can get myself up early enough. We will see what is still blooming.
Victor, I especially love your sedum and artemesia picture. I have been wanting a Dragon's Eye pine for a long time. And I got one of those Dawn Redwoods this year. I love it!
Pixie, your toad lilies are way ahead of mine. The buds on mine have not opened yet, but it has plenty of them.
Karen

My yellow ones will bloom soon.
