Not again! Banner year for them here.
Garden Photos - Part 36
I notice I had hardly any leaf-miner damage on my columbines this year. Anyone else?
Now that you mention it I don't remember much leaf-miner damage, if any at all.
It's the first time I had so little. Usually the leaves are decimated.
deb keep us informed about little honey - hope it grows for you - it looks very nice!!
OK, hope to have luck with it.
I love the look of it and would use it if it proves itself.
Love the hydrangea---even if it doesn't flower, the foliage is lovely. Someone entered a variegated leaved caryopteris at the fair--it won, & looked quite nice. Great MG's, Pixie--such an intense color! Here is a perennial I have that is blooming now--5ft tall--gray-green willow-shaped leaves--the blue is not as intense as the photo--softer & grayer---but I have no idea what it is--has been in about 3-4 years. Can anyone ID it?
Victor, gorgeous shot of Rozanne and Amethyst!
Thom, that's a stunning heirloom glad - do you know the name?
Celeste, the 'Atom' is an heirloom variety also.
Robin, I'm guessing a Penstemon - although I've not heard of a blue one.
Celeste, I've been eyeing that same hydrangea as well. Please keep us posted.
Thanks Sue. Dyane, nice to hear all is well with you and the family. Yes, sleep deprivation was the only downside to being a parent!
Victor - love your Rozanne and your Crapes!
Celeste - I love that MG!! Did anyone besides me read that Victor wants a MG???!!! What?????? He's going soft on us! I think we both posted "pretty little zinnias" that are cousins!! LOL
Here is a vase of purple lisianthus, pink turtleheads and blue asters.....
Hi folks! Sorry I have been MIA! This time of year is really busy for me. Anyhow all is well.
These will probably be my last photo's of the season. I have 2 clematis that are still in bloom right now - only because I planted them this spring I figure....Anyhow I think they will be even more gorgeous next year.....
Ville de Lyon and Polish Spirit
Very pretty, Dawn! Have you been enjoying your pergola this summer?
Very nice, Dawn.
Great pics!! Keep em coming!
Oh yes Victor I thoroughly enjoyed the pergola.....I would often sit there and enjoy my morning coffee......or I sit and watch the kids play......very nice!
Victor - how do you like your pokomoke? I've been thinking of making room somewhere for it. I have always wanted a crape - but don't have room for a large one.
I like it, Anita. It does need full sun for best bloom. The foliage is real nice too - never a blemish.
