I do the same thing, I have it in something the kids would never think to look in. An empty laundry soap bottle. They know I collect jugs and bottles for winter sowing so they dont think about it.

Why not just use the inside of an old washing machine? My friend's husband made my mom on of the coolest fire pits out of one. I would send pix but don't have one as she lives 40 miles away.

hmmmm cindy that is an awesome idea, i bet one could go to a appliance fixer upper dude and get one for little of nothing if not free.

I want a Deck with a pit in the center with seating all around it... so we can build a fire in the winter and sit all around it... and located down the steps of the deck he just built right behind the house...
He wants it further away from the house, and not adjacent to seating...

I think I'm going to win this one, but it's going to take time.

Cindy, Tia has a great idea about the pennies!! I always have a jar around I through change into. Actually started when I was first married as DH didn't like having much change in his pocket and would put on top of dresser. I scooped it up and put into a 5 gallon water jug. Using coffee can now--big one and it is labeled "BJ's"!!

So when does Florida get put on the list? Tinky, you are out numbered--maybe you just haven't had seafood prepared right is all.
