AND you see that table there beside us? Well, it was filled with food ALL the time...
I'm telling you... we're not kidding... if anyone left Kathy's house hungry... it was their own fault... She tried to fatten us all up... I bet we all gained 20#.

Deborah... tell them the story behind the bushel basket Kathy's gifts were in.... I love that story.

That looks like a lot of fun! You gals are so cute in your t-shirts and hats. You look like a bunch of sorority sisters at a frat party! Where are the other 20 sistas? There must have been at least 20 others there from the looks of all that FOOD!

There was enough food for that many for sure... if not more.
Poor Michael, he and Kathy will be eating left overs for a month.

I think Kathy loved her apron... not sure, she was either hugging it here, or wiping the tears away... she cried when we gave her the basket.

Ok, well, that basket was given to me while I was in the hospital in 2001. At the time, the only two people I could recognize was my mother and my daddy's sister, my favorite Aunt. Aunt Gail brought me that basket filled with apples. Tied to each apples' stem was an inspiration get well saying. By the time I had went through all the apples, I got to come home.

I think Deborah wears a lot of RED... so the hat matched her perfectly... she still had the Minnie Pearl tag on it...

Audrey hid the Baileys... we couldn't find it... but eventually it turned up empty... hehehe... JK

Audrey hit the Bailey's. We all buzzed on the Mike's hard lemonade. One at 5% proof and we were chasing the gineas, two and we were giggling, three, we were swaying under the gazebo, still giggling but couldn't run straight. Plus we all vowed, what happens in Ala, stays in Ala.

That's right Deb... and I aint tellin either...

Or was it the raspberry daiquiris with whipped cream! So smooth and thick we ate them with a spoon.!

OOoooo... those were sooooo good. Mums the word.

And then there was the trip to Walmart once. We lost BJ. Kathy had BJ paged at Walmart. "Begals and Jiggles your party is waiting at the front entrance." We were there buying more Cafe Francis.

Bj taught us how to play Texas hold'em. I was clueless. Could have lost my shirt but we split the winnings. I'm really shutting up now.

And all the time I was waiting at the door where we came in... figured if we came in that door, they'd find me there when they came back out that door.

I was just about to have them page "all DG members please come to the front desk"... wouldn't it be interesting to see who all came to the front?

And Deborah kept me up half the night teaching me about butterfly gardening, and showing me how she keeps her journal... she really aught to be a teacher... cause she got me all hyped up now on creating a b'fly habitat... probably not to the extent she has, but something b'flies will like, at least.

Don't shut up Deb, tell your stories.

Kathy's place is a butterfly and hummer habitat for sure! Those hummer's were buzzing us all as we sat under the gazebo! Kathy has flowering vines I've never seen. Just goreous!

Oh, and everyone gave each other gifts...
Joyce gave us all the red hats.
Kathy and Michael gave us all the tee shirts.
Deborah brought us all a key clip that attaches on the side of our purse... they're all little froggies...
Audrey brought us all candles.
And I brought everyone a name tag necklace... so we wouldn't forget who each other was.

Then, JoJo sent us all the pirate hats.
and Jaye sent some of her home made sweet pickles... they're delicious for breakfast too.

Gosh, things were happening so fast, did I miss something... sistahs, help me here.

We got to name the new chicks! I named mine Georgianna.

bj, i think you have it all. the weekend went way to fast. i cried after dropping you and joyce at the airport. it hit me all my sisters were gone

Yes... Kathy's plants are beautiful... even her azaleas are still blooming... very happy bushes.

you forgot to tell everyone how well my weeds are doing!

If Georgianna turns out to be a rooster, just call her George.

AND,,, Joyce and I sat in the airport and cried that it was over too.
