Give or take, plus it is a very busy weekend going to texas the weekend of the tyler one, since it is OU Texas ball game.
Plus the fair that weekend.

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

(Maggi) Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Well Becky, How is your mom? And....how big did you score at Lowe's.
Charlene

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

all better now???

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

Charlene.. Momma was sooo lethargic when I got there.. and her lips were kinda blue.. Her sats were 98.. so the oxygen was good. The nurse said she just isn't eating, anf they were going to start her on the shakes cause I can tell she has lost a lot of weight.. but in "her" mind she thinks she is fat, and I wonder if that is one reason she doesn't want to eat.. BUT I gave her 2 small glasses of water and within an hour she was way more coherant.. and less lethargic.. so I KNOW she is dehydrated.. and after doing a "certain " thing for her.. I KNEW she was dehydrated.. got the DON.. and she said.. well she's on antibiotics, and since she is having them( bladder infections) alot, we are putting her on maintenance.. which means give the antibiotics all the time...!!!!!! I told her, it doesn't matter HOW many she gets IF she continues to be dehydrated... I get so mad at the ignorance these employees show me on a daily basis!.. sorry.. I am soo depressed cause it seems my hands are tied... and it makes me want to "hit" someone.. even though I never would.. does that make sense??..LOL.. I didn't even go to Lowes, I spent too much time with Momma...

aw.. come on Tia... come to Arlington too..lol...

Linda Kay... that one is closer to you too.. you ought to think about that one too!! BTW... do I have anything I can trade you for the purple sage??

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

Yes we will be eating there also just haven't started that thread yet...guess I better get it started though ...it might make a difference on some coming if we have yummy stuff to eat...LOL

Beck does mom have a doctor you can talk to??? that might help get these people on track???

(Maggi) Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

LOL! I was trying to catch up yesterday mibus and I was getting dizzy with all that scrolling :~)

Glad to be home, Ken is home for a long weekend too.

That Houston trade show was HUGE. Nadine and I had to split it into 2 days. I'm glad Nadine was driving in Houston when there was a frog-floating downpour. I came home with about 1,400 plants, most of them liners, but all of them healthy. I think I am nearly stocked up for next season!

All but one puppy is doing well.

Ken's Mom is being cared for and Ken's brother is finding a house for Mom, her daughter and SIL to share. They are working closely with the Dr to get Mom's meds right, there were some problems there.

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

mmmm making note to make Maggi dizzy make her scroll LMAO

Glad you didn't float away in the rain down there and things are starting to working out for Ken's mom

hope the one puppy gets better too

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

beck5711, You have listed one rose of sharon, pink with red eye. If no one has spoke for it, I would love to have that one.
Thanks
Linda Kay

(Maggi) Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

I edited my post above to add some things others might like to have. Whatever I bring in the van to the park will be in individual boxes this time - LOL!

(Tia) Norman, OK(Zone 7a)

Oh Mibus I know you were trying to help. When I did my search I used my address and then just put in tyler tx. I want to go to arlington one also but just not sure i can sneak away 2 weekends in a row. I will see what I can do, if i do go to arlington then it might just be for the day.

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

Mornin everyone!! It's raining here again for the 3rd day... I am happy for the rain as we needed it soo bad.. but now I am wanting just a lil sun..hehe can't ever be satisfied!

Linda Kay... I'll put your name on it! I have been enjoying seeing it bloom!..in the pot..lol

Maggie .. glad you got a bunch of goodies and are now back home. Hope everything works out for you and Ken.. sure gets hard when we get older, taking care of the parents...

Tia... gonna be rough on this ol girl.. 2 RU's ..1 week apart..LOL but I have met quite a few that will be at the other RU and want to meet all the other dgers too!! My driving time will be about the same as you ..only reversed. I'll drive up to Tyler for the day, but spend the night in Arlington..

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

Got you Jerrie... and been meaning to go look for the sweet pea vine for you... I saw one climbing up a plant in a flower bed..lol and I thought about you... I'll get you one though..

Phyllis.... yeah Momma has a DR.. but she ( Dr. ) blames the NH.. and the NH blames her!! soo there ya go...

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Becky my prayers are with you and your family. Earthly burdens do lighten when we pass them along to the one who can "fix" everything. "He" wants to lighten your load. Let him.

Eyes, I will put you down for the lantana.
Charlene

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I wish I could go to both round ups, but my son is babysitting my Dad for me, so in return I am babysitting my grandsons the next week-end.
I am looking forward to meeting each and everyone of you. This sounds like so much fun.
I have a question. Do I need to bring a table to set up all the plants on, or do we just keep them in the back of my truck, or sit them on the ground???
Linda Kay

(Karen) Frankston, TX(Zone 8a)

Linda Kay, just bring a lawn chair for yourself and sit the plants on the ground around you, is how we did it at the last ET RU. Seemed to work fine.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Sounds good to me.
Linda Kay

food thread is now up

(Karen) Frankston, TX(Zone 8a)

Hello everyone! I am officially volunteering to organize the Door Prize segment of our RU if it seems like enough people are interested. I think we all enjoyed it at the last RU but there is definitely room for improvement on the ways we can do it. Our first RU was a good learning experience. I have a few ideas about what I would like to see, and I would like suggestions and opinions from any and all of you ☺ I am listing my thoughts, and we will all work together to put together a great plan, so please let me know what you think.

I would like to suggest that we take a short break (maybe right after lunch?) where we all cease trading for a moment and do the door prizes. It should not take long. I'll call the number out, person comes and gets it, till everyone has one. Then we can continue on with our trading. I will sit with the door prizes until they are awarded so that they are safe and accounted for, and go to whom they are supposed to go.

You bring a door prize, you get a door prize. This will be monitored by numbering each person that brings a door prize's tag, and numbering the door prizes. Phyllis and I will have to talk about that, because we also want to keep up with how many attend, not sure how we'll go about the numbering...

I above all people, do not have much money at all, so I know this area may be touchy. I was thinking maybe putting a limit price on the prize value, but want your opinions especially here. How much should it be? The point is, that we want to bring a gift as nice as we will receive. This does not mean you have to go out and spend a huge amount of money. But put some thought into your gift........Make it something you would be proud and happy to receive. Make a gift basket, with seeds, gloves, etc. I'm sure we can all come up with something nice ☺

OK, the door is open now for you all to tell me how you feel. Do you want to do this? What do you think of my suggestions? I'm only a volunteer, this party is for all of us, LOL!

I'm going to Double Post this on trades and general RU info too so no one will miss it.

Gilmer, TX

Thought I had posted these but going back throughthe thread I found I had not. So if any of these are left, I would like:

tater - some of those hot pickles

Karen - some more of your salsa, it was delicious

charlene - the Cuculatta EE, if they are all gone, I'll just steal Lorraine's

I'm getting my oasis cubes Friday so will start some things rooting. I will not post now because I've never had much luck rooting things, but with the cubes and that root and grow from the co-op I'm hoping for better results.

(Karen) Frankston, TX(Zone 8a)

gotcha down Pam ☺

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

Hey Karen what about having a sign in sheet so to speak so ....when they come they can drop off the door prize they bring and sign the sheet.

We can give them numbers on the name tags.

(Karen) Frankston, TX(Zone 8a)

Sounds good to me Phyllis.

Gilmer, TX(Zone 8a)

Calcutta ee.? Do I have one coming. Please say I do. If for no other reason , just to hear Pam cry. Like she made me do over the Micky Mouse one.!!

Gilmer, TX
