Does anyone have any firecracker shrub, Mexican Firebush? I would sure like to have one.....

I don't know for sure. In 2006 they started in October and last year they started putting them out mid/late September. I've tried calling them before and only get an answering machine.Do you know anyone who drivers through Lindale on a daily basis? I'm saving my pennies for that sale too :0)

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

no not that I know of but I may try calling myself and see what I get or maybe take a drive tomorrow and see if they have any signs out
I know sextons has had stuff out off and on since the end of june but it is not just roses

I just remembered. DH will be driving by there Sunday. I'll have him look, if you don't make it over there tomorrow.

Sorry Karen, no firecracker shrubs here:(

So much talent id this site. Everyone on DG is so friendly, and talented. I can't say enough praise about you all, and can't wait to meet my new friends in Tyler.
I do have a question? What if it rains, is this a rain or shine event, or will it get transferred to the Arlington the following week-end?
Linda Kay

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

we will be at a shelter and it does have a roof so I figure rain or shine the plants will love the water anyway but we are thinking positive here LOL it will be a beautiful fall day

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

Yes tater for trade, will do my best for a purple one for you..

Shoot, you couldn't get us East Texas folks to fore go an RU due to rain, LOL! Just ask Maggi, she and my friend Regine and I, and Ken, toured her whole nursery and dug up plants in the pouring rain, bare-headed! ROTF, we were soaked from head to toe, and had a swell time. We are tough!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

That sounds like so much fun, I have not played in the rain in years, until today. It is raining here, and I was out in the rain, and mud, digging up purple sage for the trades...
Lots of fun

Pam, will you save me some Candy Lily ,Stella d Ora and Dbl Purple datura? I have lots of seeds that I probably won't list all of them (too many) anything or special color you are looking for?

Gilmer, TX

Got you coco. I like bright and gaudy flowers. LOL

Do you have any of the hardy red nanas glads? That's about the gaudiest thing I have. LOL Hummer's love then tho.

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

We got a total of over 5 inches up here y'all and I haven't had to water in a week...LOL.......just loved it...now back to hot and muggy...but, ya take what ya get.
"eyes"

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

nana's glads...don't think I ever heard of them...

"eyes"

Opps, I guess it would help if I spelled then right, it's "nanus". The only color I have are a super bright gaudy red.

(Maggi) Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

Coco - what can I tempt you with in exchange for some of those gaudy glads?

I'll bring you some Maggie. Is your list the same as EastTexasYardboy. If so would you happen to have a pink naked lady or pink amarylis. If yours is the same list, I also have the purple hyacinth beans and Variegated Lirope for ya.

WHOA!!! Those to the South of here, take care. We just had a storm surge move though here that knocked over pots and brought down some tree limbs. I'm surprised we still have power. It's just a nice steady rain now, but the front is a booger... be careful.

(Maggi) Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

Coco - Not the same list, but I have a number of things. I have Red Spider Lily bulbs, but no naked ladies. I will send a pic of the Amaryllis we have that I think there is another bulb on. I can't go out to look right now, it's raining again :~) Yippee!

Gilmer, TX

Yes I'll take nanus glad it sounds like just the ticket.

Karen, may I have a banana pup and a red and hot pink oleander cuttings? I got some at the last RU, but alas, they didn't make it. Now that I have the new rooting hormone I'm hoping for better results.

taters, may I have an agave?

Patrob, may I have some of your mint?

Beck, last but not least, do you have anyamarylis seedlings left?

Can you tell I finally looked thru the trade list?
