I think I have flowers !

(Zone 1)

Oooh, I love the Snow pictures! LOL, there's a lady on the AV forum from Idaho who would post her snow pic's for me and I would show our beaches!

Here's where we take our boat whenever we have free time. We stop at a seafood restaurant on the intracoastal waterway for the BEST Grouper Sandwiches and HushPuppies!Yum! And take our lunch and anchor on this island.

Willie, your monardas are gorgeous so promise to me no snow right!
Lin, I agree wtih you about marriage, it can be difficult at times and great at others. Sometimes people do not like to work at it and just go on their own way and get a divorce. Communication is the key i think to a good relationship!
I think I need to rest now, need to get to work tomorrow, night night my new friends! Clemen

Looks idyllic, Lin. Very nice.

(Zone 1)

The Island is in the Intracoastal Waterway and is known as "Disappearing Island" because at high tide there is only a little sliver of land above water.

This is a shot at Low Tide, looking across at the Ponce De Leon Inlet Lighthouse. There is an inlet out into the ocean right there.

Lin, I had said zzzzzzzzz already, but hey your pic of the water is better than mine, so you are boaters, so are we! Here is a pix of ours and now off to bed ok, don't twist my arm, i need energies for when cereous puts her show!

(Zone 1)

G'Nite Clem ... sleep well! I didn't even realize what time it is ... sitting here watching the Olympics and playing on the computer, have lost all track of the time.

I will leave y'all with a sunset picture from the West Coast of Florida ... Longboat Key (Sarasota area) where we like to vacation sometimes.

Laura: Sorry about hijacking your thread!

Ok ... one more of our "Serenity". It took me forever to find this picture! I have thousands of photo's on my computer and they are not in any order! One of these days I will organize them!

I won't go out in the Ocean on a boat ... my husband takes our little 24 footer offshore scuba diving and has taken it from Florida to the Bahama's ... but I fly over and meet him there! I don't like not being able to see land! I've never even been on a huge cruise ship in the ocean! It's dry land for me!

Oh my goodness ... that is just the cutest puppy! Love the sunglasses!

You guys are worse than the PNW gang.

And it still rains a cold rain here 9 months of the year, we don't have any nice days from October to June.

Living in the PNW is overrated. The weather stinks.

Wayland, MA(Zone 6a)

Yesterday I slept through the big flower show and last night I slept through the intros too! I am laura I live in Mass. about 20 miles outside Boston . I certainly don't mind the thread diversion. I need to post a few new pic's of the buds though they are getting bigger but we have had nothing but rain rain rain .

Good morning guys, can't chat because I'm at work, just picking though a little whole in my computer right now, those puppies are so cute, see you all tonight! Clemen

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Bella looks like she doesn't quite know what to do with Pasqual. That's a great shot!

Fingers crossed for a quick and INEXPENSIVE return, Wren!!

Don't get fired, Clem!! The thread will still be here when you are home from work!!!

And, yes, here where I live, it is acceptable (lucky for me) to leave the holiday lights up year 'round!! The neighbor's all know if the lights are a-glowin' the party is on!

Nassau County, NY(Zone 7a)

I'll try Willie, lol, I mispelled hole for whole. This time see ya later. Clem

Oh man ... Looks like y'all are going to have multiple blooms and it looks like they may be pinkish or red in color.

Keep the pic's coming ... I am just excited for both of you. I will be so happy when some of my little Epi's get to the blooming stage! I went out and looked at my big guy E. hookeri earlier ... still 2 buds and not a lot of change in the size. I did notice ants crawling on them, hope that is not a bad sign! I am so determined to get a pic of the blooms opened for once, especially since I've had this plant for such a long, long time! You'd think it would at least wait on me once in awhile, so I could view the flowers!

Nassau County, NY(Zone 7a)

Hey lin, I know the buds look reddish, but Ithe flower will be white, according to my friend that gave me the cuttings. I am feeding mine Bloom Plus weekly and I spotted more little tiny buds today! So exciting!

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

I'm back. I am glad I did not miss much. I agree with Lin that they do look like they might be colored.

My poor fuzzy one was glad I get the laptop back. I kept grooming him. Poor boy.

Wren: That is a Beautiful Pup you have there! Please tell us what breed he is! Gorgeous!

My E. hookeri bloomed and I missed them again! Arrrgh! Either I missed it or something causing them to wilt before opening fully. I did see ants crawling all over the buds a few days ago.

Coming alone. But I am still puzzled about the color. Watch for the stem starting to curl.

(Zone 1)

I am puzzled about the color too. I think it will be "other" than white ... maybe a golden or pale coppery orange color?

Listen to me, talking like I know anything about Epi's ... I don't, though I am fascinated by these gorgeous plants and see how they could easily become addictive! ^_^

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 8b)

Tell me about it. I have over 100 and counting. I need to get buzy on a shade house.
