I met a lady that was gardening in her front yard 2 houses down from my son's school where they were having VBS. She has these gorgeous lettuce edged yellow with darker throat daylilies they are HUGE. Found out she's a member of a garden club in the town next to me(tried to talk me into joining). Of course got to talking and was late picking my son up. She's going to call me when she finds the name. They are beautiful, I was waiting for someone to be outside so I could ask which ones they were.

And here is 'gladiolus callianthus' - I picked these up at Benny's a couple months ago!!

Wow it's already blooming? Cool! It's a very hardy plant and will get better looking and bigger after a year or two.

Ah, very pretty! We call em 'Peacock Orchids' but im not sure why! LOL

Do you have to dig them in the fall? I had to, I think thats why I haven't grown them in a while!

This is my first year with them. I'm gonna leave 'em and see what happens.
