It's Antique Lace, I'll treazure her forever! Registered by Alice Harris! I can't wait!!! A very small white to creamy bloom should appear after the next agonizing few weeks! You guys I swear it's like my first buds ever! It's barely got leaves!!! A wonderful brug, Superthrive, good ol 20-20-20 and BAM! I got buds! (Joyce's Monster White cheers her on in the background)

Well Hotties, I went shopping in San Antonio, and found a place that all plants 50% off, I came home with 2 angel trumpets, and 1 devil trumpet, so I think. That is what I was told, but the double yellow devil is hanging her bloom down, so that tells me she is an angel? But her leaves are all different.
Please help. reguardless of what it is, I think she is pretty.

Kim.. yep you are right... I think some brug blooms point a lil upwards sometimes as daturas.. devil trumpets point downwards sometimes.. the leaves tell the story.. hehe.. I am sounding like an expert.. and haven't even had ONE dang bloom!!

Congrats Bonnie on your brug buds! How old is your seedling? I swear my babies are growing so much! I am kind of afraid how big they are going to get! Some of the faster growing ones are already almost two feet tall! two feet tall since March sprouts! I know I am feeling the age thing. I decided I was tired waiting for my Hubbie to lift the elephant ears out of their four year old pots, so I wrestled them myself. Should have been a funniest video! I turned em sidways and pulled and pulled, had to roll them on the ground to try and squeeze the pots. By the time I was done getting them out of there, I was exhausted and sweating! They had no soil at all, it was all just rootball. I popped them into their new monster pots and added soil and fertilizer and watered them until they were practically floating. They were sooooooo happy! their little heads stood straight up with joy.
Oh and I can relate to the Mom calling the kids by other names. For quite a while I thought my name was... FraMarieRaLouise!
I'm back!! Hello to everyone.
DH finally gave up and went to the Dr. today but only after I got real witchy yesterday and threw a hissy fit. (Man, I haven't had one of those in years LOL) Three fractured knuckles and 1 shattered middle finger, yep, we are heading for surgery next. Bless his heart, he really has a high pain tolerance and could not believe he had this much damage even though I kept telling him he did. So, for quite awhile now, I am going to have DH home all the time and not really able to do much. My 6'4" hunk is feeling puny now just thinking about surgery. But, he has to have both hands to work in his trade, so... I've been joking about the "one-armed paperhanger" but that is not going over very well.
My brugs are hanging in there, still putting on new leaves but no buds. I keep thinking since I have not been checking on them so much that maybe they will surprise me, but not yet. We have had a week of on-and-off rain too, so they maybe getting too much water and not enough sun.
Joyce, I am excited about the BOP, thank you, and I waved at your office today as I drove by, so if any of the drivers are talking about this strange lady waving at the building in OKC, it was me. Just in case you were in town!
Clem, it sounds like your white/pink, pink/white brug got confused. Maybe it just wanted some extra attention. :)

It has a real faint lemony smell, My daughter in law say it smells like lemonaid. what ever it is, I like the double blooms. And since most think it is a devils trumpet, I will just have to keep looking for a double angel.
I call mine girls, because most of them have feminine names.

Hi Peggy!!! Thanks for checkin in, we missed ya! 2 fractures and a shatter! That had to be unbearable! (oh, turned him into a bear, lol) Well that's what he gets Peg, and you know it. If he'd gone right after it happened, the surgery would all be over by now and he would be outta yer hair. He would bearly (tehe) had time to think about the surgery. I hope he's not hurting, they did give him pain meds? Pain meds and a pint of Jack would quiet him down immensely. (just kidding Peggy's DH) Sometimes, you HAVE to through a hissy fit, it's the only way to get their attention to they can listen to logic. Way to go Hottie Peg! Check in when you can and let us know his progress, poor thing. My BIL shattered every bone in his had a few years ago... built himself a homemade firework..... they had to cut his wedding ring off... but he went to ER immediately (kinda ruined the remainder of our fireworks display)... my sis is used to it.. he's either in ER or she's nagging him to go have an xray or see a doctor.. I guess they think our care giving is going to make the hurt magically disappear! I'll admit we can be magical Hotties, don't get me wrong, but a broken/shattered/fractured bone takes more professional care than Peg waving her magic wand..
