Thanks, Doe! I know ... these days, if there's a camera around it's usually in my hands and aimed at my little girl. :)

Doe - I will say this ... your patience with your Brugs will pay off!! And the blooms will be fabulous!! Which ones do you have? Is this your first year as a Brug mommy?

So precious!
My ex had a friend who lived in Alvin, Tx. He's probably dead now, this was years ago. He'd come by to see his gamecocks!

Yes! I didn't know they existed till this spring!

Really? Wow, small world! Yeah, our claim to fame is Nolan Ryan. I do like the town but wish I'd have moved to a more rural area of it. Where I am now is right in the middle of everything and we have a tiny peice of property with one of those brick houses that almost looks manufactured because it loks identical to all of the ones surrounding it. Not complaining though - I love my home and it's our first. :) But next I will be looking for a larger peice of property.

Good luck with your seedlings! They'll grow!

Thanks, Doe! And I've only had Brugs for just over a year now. That first year seems to drag on while you wait for those blooms. But for me - the blooms were so awesome once they came!!

Audrey! You are beautiful and Amanda and Amanda's lil weed puller! Amanda your hair is gorgeous! I don't think staking brugs makes them grow faster... I think some grow faster than others. I work mine up to feeding 2X a week. Most of them do like some direct sun, morning sun is better than the afternoon when it's scorching hot on them. Tater, your making a brug bed? How glorious! Here in zone 5 I have these brugs in direct sun at least 6 hours a day: Maya, Pink Beauty, Peach Versi, all my little brugglings, tho the babies get shade a little sooner than the big mama's. I'm finding Joyce's Monster White doesn't like as much so she's pushed back under the big mama's for some protection. I'm really amazed how fast the little ones have grown. Melissa, that's how I spelled my Melissa Joy. Melissa means sweet bee. (That's what the baby book said 30, 30 and 1/2 years ago) I'll tell her about the Com-con. Boss is unlocking the ball and chain early to day Ladies!!! Catch up with you later. Peg, when IS the surgery? I wouldn't like sitting around thinking about it, either. I'd be the one-handed potter/waterer.. lol

Bonnie...learn something new everyday, I always tell people my name means Honey Bee, course I'm 32, so maybe it depends on the book LOL!!! oh well, at least I know I'm still a bee!!

Yes, and if she is interested let me know so I can give you the Comic Con web address, she can sign up on there for info and read all about whats going on this year...oh heck, i'll just add the link now...
