Lovely photo.
I don't think I'll do much in the garden today between the rain we are supposed to get and a swollen foot.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Boojum, I hope you heard the appropriate "Ta Dah!!" when you took the photo. Great shot of an amazing garden. Patti

Shelburne Falls, MA(Zone 5a)

Actually, I heard Bach.

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Boojum, Ah, a more cultured mind than my pea brain. My only oddity in the garden has been this TBI with one purple fall. Overcast this morning. We need rain. I could use a day inside, but I still have a few things not planted out yet which I may tackle this morning. Patti

71 and very cloudy. we're supposed to be in for rain today. Thanks for the sun times!

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

You are very welcome, Victor.
I'm watching a line of T-storms coming across from New York state.
They should be here in an hour or so, if they don't peter out.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Temp 75.3°, wind S 6.3 mph, Rh 58%. ☺

Sky just opened up here with some big raindrops, looks like a line of rainclouds coming from the south.

Shelburne Falls, MA(Zone 5a)

We got a thunderstorm for 15-20 minutes. Quite a downpour.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hoping for a soaking here. It's dark, lots of rumbling, but that's it so far.

Southeastern, CT(Zone 6a)

They seemed to have missed us to the west and north. Couple sprinkles, that's it.

Thomaston, CT

Raining--again! I wish I could divert it to you, Victor! Deb---if swelling in foot doesn't go down, have an x-ray. Booj--lovely photos, lovely garden. And WC, the bunny is a doll--I rarely see them--too many coyotes & bobcats near me!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wish you could, Robin! We're getting very light rain. On the radar, it's just missing us. Deb - sorry, I missed that post about your foot. Feel better!

Thomaston, CT

That would be us in the north! Oh, sorry no sunset time--we were heading home from son's because HayHay (the 3yr old) had to go to ER with 104 temp & a bad infection from what may have been a spider bite. She has to go back to ER at 5 to be rechecked----they may admit if fever spikes again!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Oh, poor little one. Good luck with her. It worked! The second I hit 'send' on my last post, the downpour started! Still coming down at a good clip.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Oh yeah. Best of luck and health to HayHay.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Rains done for now. Sunny and very humid. 76. Got a bit under 1/2 inch.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Thanks guys - just a little swelling left, hurts to put a shoe on. I'm just a klutz.
Robin, hope you little one is better!
A little rain earlier, sunny and 76 now.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Good thing it's summer Deb. You can just wear flip flops 'till your foot feels better, which I hope is soon!

Rain stopped. Everything's wet, but I'm going out there to dig anyway right after I finish this pizza.

We have got like 3" of rain and WAS in a tornado waring. It has been raining off and on since 11:30 a.m. Things - plants, driveway and my veggie garden hammered by sever winds and sheets of rain. One good way to look at things, the pool needs no watere now and the veggie garden is cool. Good ways to look at hard times.

Wow - not a great day for your birthday!

Shelburne Falls, MA(Zone 5a)

Downpours 3 times today. Going out to plant my new dls.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Wow Sherrie!

Brooksville, FL(Zone 9a)

due to the weather which was high high winds we lost part of a tree in our back yard. Took down the fence when it fell.

Oh wow, that's awful.

Brooksville, FL(Zone 9a)

here is another shot. None of the dogs were out in the weather when this went down....

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

That was one big tree.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wow - lucky there were no injuries. Must have made quite a sound!

Brooksville, FL(Zone 9a)

Well thanks to some wonderful neighbors who came this morning and worked and worked until it was all cut up. We don't have a fireplace so the guys are splitting it and it is enough wood for this coming winter to keep them both warm.

I bet the sound was something. Reminds me of walking in the park(woods) a few years ago, I thought I heard a gunshot. Walking back on the path, I thought I made a wrong turn because there was a tree across the path.

Brooksville, FL(Zone 9a)

here is a little better shot of it across the fence.

Brooksville, FL(Zone 9a)

don't know what happened to my last picture.

Looks like the dogs are on the job, investigation-wise. Sorry you lost a tree!
