Yes, I watched it--and it was pretty Ho-Hum.....You know--a lot has changed in the years between 1969 and now in the Movie industry. Especially--all the Special Effects...
"Fear no Evil" sure had a grip on me back then--but now---it is like--SO 60's!

NO! I was not all that scared any more! I was not scared at all! What a let-down!
I know whomever spent the money and made me this copy--I DO thank you! I guess, just too many years have passed to recapture all the "horror" of "then"....
Gosh! Star Trek and 200 Space Odesay and all the Sci-Fi movies made now just put any effort of scaring Folks back in 1969 to a shame.
I still was excited to H--l to get this DVD! Thanks my SP!

Hey there everyone. Jaye, the next time we grill out, I will let you know. Might just be hotdogs next time though.. ha-ha I am always so happy to come here and read about each of your lives. The big exciting thing at the moment is that Liz is going to visit Seed, soon. What fun those two will have. From what I have seen in here, anyone spending time with Seed is going to have fun. What a gal!!!

Another busy day planned here today. I hope to get outside shortly and do some watering and planting too. If I don't start early in the garden, I don't get out there. It becomes unbearibly hot later in the morning.

First Thread I popped into this morning. Have been reading just short of time and a brain that is alert!

Spent the weekend planting and I'm still not done. Have one large flowerbed to plant yet and more on the back hill and some pots. Then I can call it done. We will see how the weather goes and the skeeters.

Sharran he has grown so much since the last picture and keeps getting cuter.

Seed you have so much to be excited and happy about. Glad it was all fun.

Gita we have watched some old series and movies and they just aren;t the same. Kind of sad.

Gilli loved the rubbermaid tote ride. What fun memories those will be! So glad it is dry enough to garden. DH plowed up a space for more corn and sunflowers and it has that icky wet smell from so much water there. Opening it up should do it some good. Got it all planted with his help.


The Iris are about ready to bloom. My new white one has the prettiest large flower. Hope there is one today so I can get a picture of it. Also have to mark it so I don't loose it in with the others.

The tulips I posted earlier are just about done. I can't believe they had beautiful flowers for a month. Others I've had have only lasted a week!So pleased with them. Might order more of them for another spot!

The work saga continues. One of the girls made a comment that there is a favorite at work meaning me! People can be so stupid and jealous. I get the looks and there are notes written to me like the others. I don't get extra or special hours don't ask for them either. Take the hours I get. It just kind of hurts that people think like that. It was even talked about in front of me yesterday while I was counting my drawer! Never had anything like that happen before and wasn't sure how to handle it. So kept my mouth shut.

Enough of that. Otherwise the day at work was very enjoyable yesterday and actually relaxing. Today I have off and then back to work tomorrow. So will be a busy week here.

Ruby did you post any pictures of the BD girl and I missed them?

Have to go and get some breakfast and feed Ty. DH let him out before he left for work and he just checks out stuff or lays down to enjoy the morning instead of going potty! Ty not DH.

ruby , if you dont think im so crazy right now im ready to pack! have to stay away from the back room where all the suit cases are! lol i have worked myself into a tizzy trying to figure out how im going to sneak on broken glass, .tile, ect for a project lol i can just see being asked to open my suitcase because of what the xray machine might show lol.. and then all the new rules for flying are making me nuts!! i havent been on a plane in over 20 years so all this new stuff im not getting lol. but im soooooooo excited!!!!

At work we have a pretty bare hill. The boss wants to plant perennials there. So I brought a bunch of extra seedlings that popped up to work so she can try it. If it works it will be so pretty. Well yeah I had to suck up to the boss so I can stay her favorite! ROFLOL

Hi all! Just wanted to tell you that I may be really quiet this whole week. Thunder storms all week and I am going crazy. We have been so fortunate so far this year arround this area. We are under a tornado warning this morn until 11. Wave upon wave all weekmthey say. Scotty is doing great on his wieght loss thank God you can see it coming off. Just watching my Blue dog for bad signs. He has been a little listless but I think it is so much rain and thunder. He is so scared of both. Well goota go get mail and then paay bills so will work in the house this week since I can't get in the garden. I will pop in once in a while maybe with a quick HI! LOVE YOU ALL BEV

Good morning everyone! Did my usual walk around the yard-yeap with coffee cup in hand-only thing really blooming are my daughter's squash plants. What a show. Just hope they make some squash--inspite of being planted in kitty litter buckets! Wish we could successfully grow tulips here. every time I have tired I have failed.

Please let's don't mention the skeeters--out in full force this morning! I have the problem of magnolia leaves retaining water in their cupped form--need I say more. It a chopping with the lawnmower this morning.

Vez, they are envious! Liz, have fun with packing. It is truly an experience now. When my daughter and I went to Costa Rica last December, we had a good laugh with the inspectors. She has a breathing machine that is a carryon for medicial reasons. Not wanting space to be wasted, she packed her over night change of underweat in the case. In spite of doctor's note what it was, they had to unpack to look at the parts--big deal! A small compact machine and long hose with nostril pieces! Well instead of just taking it out they jerked (I do mean jerked) it out. Underwear went flying everywhere. Oh the look of shock on the inspector's face!!!! Sad thing was when we got to San Jose --no underwear in case. No idea what they did with it--we thought we saw them put it back in but apparently not. Maybe cheap gift for lady friend?

Problem solved Liz if you are doing the glass project when I arrive..can bring some in my vehicle, that way the weight won't be a problem for you on a flight..nope the glass cutter I have wasn't on t.v. - purchased it in Florida at a stained glass shop..guess I haven't spent a lot of playing with it, maybe I could throw it in my car and we could test it out at Judy's...me thinks we shouldn't plan very much sleep...lol

Was Diane's 65th birthday yesterday, called and called by she was out at the farm riding her horse and preparing for a show and then off for a meal at DS's...so, picked up a beautiful large bouquet of flowers at the flower distributor on the way to work, lordy, they know me by name now...so funny..the elderly lady, shake my head, we're probably around the same age, well she's not always in a good humour at 7:30 in the morning but today she was joking around..maybe I've converted her...

Marion, must see the solar fountain..would be great for an area that hydro just can't be used..so funny about collecting stones, have done the same, have a few on backdeck that are slate, wanting to paint them but there are fosils in it so there they sit...thought I might paint mom's dog for her birthday on a rock so will have to start looking in my travels for one that will accommodate it...

Dawn, how far from home are you prepared to travel for your new employment? Often hear you refer to desert area, are there a lot of employment opportunities close by? Hope your headache has passed, sure do know about migraines..this weather often brings them on...change in pressure..

Laura, how did your craft class go?? was that the quilting class..did I tell you I purchased and that was years ago a computer disc for my Janome embroidery machine of all the flowers of Australia..will have to (when summer ends and I'm looking for something inside to do) embroider them on white blocks and you can create an Australian flower quilt..had it out the other day..will post which flowers are on the disk..as for your special gift I'm sure it's on it's way..one thing we've learnt in the past year is NEVER expect it soon..lol how is work going of late, is your supervisor back being her old self or is she doing better? How many more days before new grandchild arrives 10-11 or maybe sooner .. thank goodness the father to be is home and ok!

Gita, remember when I was so very young and t.v. just came out (did I say that) I loved watching the Lone Ranger..I've seen it on the old channel re-runs and can't believe I was so excited to go to school and get back home to watch it..was my highlight of the day..wow, I agree with you, they sure have come a long way.... was talking to a movie producer who was having difficulties financially and I mentioned that I couldn't quite fanthom what more they could do in the movies...he said that what we will see is a unit whereby we'll feel as though we are right in the movie, walking amongst them, also said that we wouldn't be going on vacations any longer, we'd pick a destination and technology would bring on the emotions of actually being at that location..the travelling/sightseeing etc.etc. don't know how many years is left for that to occur and not sure I want to be around...

Oh Betty, my poor late husband just yelled! Paint on a rock with fossils in it? He was a geologist--explain why I have the Canadian rocks? Will get picture of the fountain--I love it! The solar panel hasn't charged to it's full capacity so the trickle is small right now but atleast it is working!!

Know that my Sailor has been pretty listless as well of late, probably as you say because of the rumbling of weather..she's so terrified, tries to lay under anything she can find thinking it will protect her...maybe that's why Blue is quiet..let's hope..

Marion, I bought 2 sets of solar light (lights are about the size of christmas balls) and they change color continually, very pretty, but I noticed they haven't been working lately, think what has happened is the little solar panel is now hidden amongst the leaves so must take them out and perhaps put them around the gazebo wher the panel can recharge.. where did you purchase the fountain..think I might have seen one at Home Depot but it was worth an arm and a leg..

No packing materials--nada! Just shoved it into the suitcase. Didn't need a luggage tag at the claim's area for her bag--we could smell it!!!
