Best/Worse and What did I learn today? Friends pt.39

You guys, just a side note of something that happened to me once. I was explaining that my name here is not Hellen and what the screen name really meant.

I got the big mean blue letters that said something like this. Daves Garden finds it particularly irritating and offensive when someone finds a creative way to use banned cuss words or something to that effect.

Just to let anyone know if we keep on, with this funny company name, we may get the Blunt Blue Letters coming down from the heavens to chastise us for our inappropriate sence of humor here.

This is not me careing, just a little word of warning, since when it happened to me, I cried.

had a good nights sleep no bad dreams for once!!
goodness that was a rough patch. but coming through now. we have days like that.
no garden at themoment betty becuase of the drought and we havent been allowed to water.

next project is a patch work bag and the one after that is a mermaid bear,
still digging for the camera!

yes i hear what your saying, people have been booted off for less!


well hello to all you busy people. bet your looking forward to spring! the weather here has turned and its getting cold now. winter will soon be on us.

My DD only has about 8 weeks to go till the baby is born... goodness that went quick!

the rest of the family is well and plodding along.

Early night tonight..just got in and a gift was waiting for me...one of the ladies makes medicine and left me a bottle..now here's he note...

And so is the town in Indiana that is named Effingham. I have to drive through it every time I go to Indianapolis on I 57 (I think that's the number).

And so is the town in North Carolina where Horseshoe lives: Efland.

I don't think any one of us would ever intentionally be offensive, funny, yes, and frustrated as I was. Anyway....thanks for the warning, though. Amy just picked up on my frustration and made me laugh.

So now my computer, which is in fact a combo that is probably hotwired by my son in ways that I will never know, is running, but you know what I had to do? I had to block the heat vent that was blowing warm air on the power strip. That's all I did, and it has been fine since about 10 last night.
Of course now my feet are freezing since the temps have dropped this week. Might even freeze tonight, but will be in the 70's again by the weekend. Yayyyyyy.

Hope you are feeling well Betty and maybe a long soak in the tub is called for tonight.

I worked in the gallery today, and somehow going up and down that ladder gets more difficult every time I do it. This time I came home with a stiff neck. Ahhhhhhh, aging!

I am not going to try to answer everybody, but I did enjoy reading all of your posts. I am hot on another article that I need to finish tonight, then maybe tomorrow I will have a little free time. I am afraid I will be so far behind I will never catch up.

Oops, i spelled it wrong. Must have got it mixed up with the vodka. Yes, there is such a thing as Effen Vodka.
i think they should make tequila. i have rarely known anyone who referred to Effen Vodka, but lots of us have felt that way about effen tequila.
"Dude. I am never drinking that much effen tequila again - I swear!"

I know that shar, and I find it very funny. Maybe I shouldn' t but I do. I just know what kind of things DG flipps over. I got in trouble for saying my screen name spelled out slow.

I just thought I'd give a heads up because the jokes were on a roll and that is the type of funny that you just can't get enough of in a large group of clowns, as we are.

I am sun burnt on my face and It sucks. Liz my rose is hanging in there but not florishing. I am bummed.

We're getting long again, so thought I'd take a sec this morning and give us a new home...
