KARLAE - Jim.,..I'd like a Datura metel and Euphorbia trigona
Thanks a bunch! Lee
Thanks Kim and Josephine! :~)
Trishann, I am reserving 2 of each for you.
Josephine.
WillisTxGarden- Lee, I'll put your name on some. I'm just getting ready to transplant my datura seedlings this weekend. I have a lot of white ones and a few purple/white, and I'll save you one of each. I have a lot of cuttings of the euphorbia I'll be bringing. See ya
Trishann...I'd like some yellow canna and some jade vine please.
Just wanted to tell you also that I painted the wheelbarrow you gave me and am going to be putting flowers in it this weekend in my front bed. It looks so cute there! I'll take pics.
Thanks!
Thank you, Trishann,
I will dance around the mulberry and the mayhaw tree's with joy. The mint will be nibbled and given a good chance to join the ultimate battle of damp loving invasives that I call a yard.
Charlene, I have an embarrassment of Iris. Seriously It would take four men two weeks to remove the Iris I have, and they would not get them all. I live on a plot that was a wholesale nursery growing iris for the trade. The varieties now are perhaps dated, but I still love them.
Bob
I found a butterfly weed (yellow) growing voluteer in one of my pots last weekend. Would anyone like to have it? They bloom almost constantly. It's in bloom now and is only about 2-3 ft. high.
Anne
edited to say that I think that it's asclepias something or another.

I'd like the butterfly weed, but I don't know what I have to trade for it. I'm planting a cottage/butterfly/hummingbird garden so it will be much appreciated. You just can't get enough of that stuff once the butterflies discover it.

The flutterbyes love it. And don't worry about trade, like I said this one was an "accident". I just hate throwing anything away.
Anne
Ok, Patrob you wanted brazilian plume, right? I think they're all taken, but I can take more cuttings. They root pretty easy.
I thought there was another request, but I can't find it now.
Bob, can I have some more yellow and blue La iris. The ones you brought last year were so awsome. I hope I can keep them alive this year. Do you have the invasive kind that lives in ponds? I have those already, unfortunately.:)
Thanks, Mary Lee. I know the Brazilian plumes are marginally hardy where I live, but I'd like to give them a try. Cuttings are fine.
Trishann, I would love some of the Jade Vine.
Throneofyord - Bob, I'd like to have a sample of your Iris' too....please sir! Anything on my list you'd like,...just say so! Thanks! Lee
Bob I would like some Magenta Spreen Lambsquarter.
Willis, a flatwoods plum would be quite appreciated. Glad to provide LA Iris.
SilverFluter, The iris will be there for you! If the yellow invasive as a bit of a ridge down the center of the leaf, then it is pseudochorus, and yes I have a nice bit of it and am willing to share.
ANJTexas, I have you down for some Magenta Spreen!
Bob
Thanks Bob! Got you down for the plum! Lee
Bob, I think the yellow you gave me last year that I guess died was not the invasive kind. Some more of that would be great.:)
Silverfluter, Yes it was an LA iris and not the invasive from France, pseudochorus. I will find you a few nice yellows so you have a range.
Bob
Bob...I wanted to add that all I have are the regular purple irises...I would love to try a variety of colors.
Thanks very much Bob. I'm sure whatever you bring will be awesome.
I can't remember who wanted the gold flame honeysuckle, but it's turning out to be not so gold.:) It's very pink. I don't know what variety it is, but it's very healthy. In fact, some of them have already bloomed. I'll try to get a picture.
Silver - that was myself that requested the Gold Flame HS - Sure,..I'd still like the pink version! Thanks!
Mary Lee...I'd like to try some of your pink honeysuckle if you have another one. Sounds pretty!
I have white angelonia (Serena white) seedlings - pretty tiny, but I do have several of them. Well, some of them might be Blue Daze. LOL I'm not sure if I'll know by next Saturday, but I'm pretty sure most of them are angelonia.
I underplanted a rose bed with white angelonia and blue daze two years ago, and it was gorgeous. I'm suprised we don't see more angelonia around here. It's a tough little plant.
ETA - My white angelonia thrives as a slightly tender perennial here. I have two year old plants leafing out beautifully after having been chopped back in January.

I never thought of planting blue daze with roses. That sounds nice. Would blue daze be hardy up here?
Kim I'll put you down for honeysuckle.:)
Silver - blue daze might not be hardy for you, since it is only semi-hardy for me. They're kinda slow to come back. Except for one bed, that is in a more protected area, I replace mine each year. And they have been blooming for a couple of weeks there - under my rose bush.
I have a few Mexican Honeysuckle (Justicia spicigera) that have orange flowers - (not a true honeysuckle) but an interesting plant just the same....if anyone would like one - (check the PF)...let me know.
This can handle a light freeze....but better suited for hot & dry location
A native of Mexico,...my "start" came from South Texas,...where it has naturalized here & there.
Hmmm....I think I'd like to try one of those, please.
BTW, speaking of honeysuckle, I have one Winter Honeysuckle for someone.

I woudn't mind having on of those Mexican Honeysuckle.
I have added a few things to my list: http://davesgarden.com/community/trading/list.php?list=have&member=patrob
This is what is left of the new plants:
1 West Texas mist flower (Eupatorium greggii)
1 coleus 'Olympic Torch'
1 Perilla 'Magilla'
1 sedum album
ghost plant (graptopetalum paraguayense)
mother of thousands (Kalanchoe diagremontiana)

Pat....I would love a flame acanthus.
For those who asked for coleus from me....the cuttings didn't fair so well in the greenhouse. I have two left, not sure what kind. If you would like I can take a couple cuttings from ones I have gotten this spring. Please let me know.
For those who asked for passiflora incense...I have a number of pots from last year that I know are either incense or incarnata. When digging them up they were in similar areas and there isn't a good way to tell between the two. I hope that is ok.
For those who wanted black and blue salvia...I forgot to label them when I dug them up, and now they are mingled with the argentine skies salvia. So I now do not know which one is which. Most are probably the argentine skies. If you definitely want the black and blue, please let me know and I will dig a couple more up.
I think I've now got most everyone's items labeled and ready to go. Please look at my list and let me know if I have forgotten to mark you down.
Thanks! Kim
Willis...I'd love a mexican honeysuckle too.
patrob, would like some flame acanthus.
AJ and Kim, I have you both down for flame acanthus.
CJ, AJ & blue_eyes - got you down for the MH
Patrob - may I have a West Tx Mistflower? Thanks! Lee
Of course, Lee!
