College Station Spring Roundup-TRADES 2

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Hi dawnin!
May I have a rain lily and sweet autumn clematis?

Let me know what I can bring you.

Does anyone have anymore West Texas Mist flower?

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

It looks like there's a trip to Antique Rose Emporium in the offing for Sat. afternoon. Anybody else care to join?

Anne

Nevada, TX(Zone 8a)

Anne, I was already planning on stopping by ARE after the swap, I'm in!

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

Cool, we can caravan or carpool whichever everyone wants.

Anne

Nevada, TX(Zone 8a)

Caravan for me. I'll probably have my daughter and possibly mamajack and her daughter as well.

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Bookworm, I have another pot of West Texas mist flower, and I'll put your name on it.

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

Hmmm....I was just out there last weekend....but that doesn't mean I couldn't go again....lol!

Is west TX mistflower the one that comes in white and blue? I have a blue mistflower that has spread like crazy...can dig some up if people want it.

:) Kim

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Thanks Patrob! I'd prefer the blue, but will take either one.

Nevada, TX(Zone 8a)

blue_eyes, I have you down for lemon balm and byzantines. Could I get some of your pink brug. cuttings, any passifloras you have extra of, and some apple mint?

AuntAnne, I have you down for crinum. I'll should be able to bring a couple of different ones.

Patrob, No! No mums! ROFLMBO! I'm looking forward to seeing you again. I've got you down for the trades you requested. Could I get some of your TB iris 'Jesse's Song' and some liatris? I got the liatris last year, but in the confusion of handling mamajacks trades plus mine, plus Sylvia was riding with me...well somehow I got home without it. Maybe a cutting of your Georgetown Tea Rose?

Charlene - I have you down. I'd love a few cedar elms and some brug. cuttings if you still have them.

Bookworm, have you down for rainlilies and autumn clematis.

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

Dawn....I don't have anymore rooted cuttings of the brug but I can take an unrooted cutting for you. I'll put you down also for the apple mint and passis. Thanks!

Kim

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

Dawn, will you please save me some of the summer snowflakes?

Wow, you are bringing a lot for me! If you are short on room, you can bring it next weekend, or we can meet up sometime when our cars aren't so crowded.

What else can I save for you? Right now I only have you down for toads.

Nevada, TX(Zone 8a)

Pattie, added snowflakes for you. I don't expect to be too tight on room, but we could always meet somewhere closer than College Station to swap, lol.

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

LOL. I know; that's pretty funny. Kinda like me chatting on AIM with my son when he's just two rooms away.

Nevada, TX(Zone 8a)

too funny

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Thanks, Dawn, and I have you down for the plants you asked for.

Bookworm, the mist flowers I am bringing are blue.

Nevada, TX(Zone 8a)

Thank you Pat.☺

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Great, Patrob!

Anyone need any basil seedlings? I just discovered lots of babies in last year's location. They're tiny now.

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

I would love a few basil seedlings! I never seem to get the seeds planted in time. Thanks.

DeRidder, LA(Zone 9a)

Kim, yes to the Polyneura. Thanks again for sharing. I'm bringing a rose bush for a door prize.

Lynn, I bring you a nice bag of plants since you didn't get to check out my trade list.

I'm off to work :(.....See everyone in the morning.

Dollie

The Woodlands, TX(Zone 9a)

Dawn - Do you have any more Byzantine glads? I would LOVE some!!!

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9b)

Blue-eyes - would love a start of blue mist flower if you have room. ......Lynne

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

I'll mark you for some Lynne....pulled up about 6 or so tonight. They are a little weepy from getting pulled but should recover fine.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 8b)

Well, I'm bringing some no-name plumerias.
Sas won't be coming. So all you cactus lovers get thru with your crying b4 tomorrow.
Going out to load car with all of Charlene's buckets & the plumerias. Will ck back when I'm finished.

The Woodlands, TX(Zone 9a)

I'm packed and pooped! So I guess I'm coming. I'm gonna drive it on my own -waiting for DH gets me there too late. Don't wanna miss out on all the fun. Hope I don't get lost coming home this time!!!

Magnolia, TX(Zone 8b)

My car is packed!!! I'll walk out with my Igloo & I'm off to the gas station! Knew I would forget something! lol

Well I found out today that I can stay for supper. Hope some others can too. We have to go to Baytown Sunday morning, so we'll be staying somewhere in a hotel. Somebody else said they were staying in a hotel. Who was that?

Hmmm. What's the rent there Smockette?

Fredericksburg, TX(Zone 8a)

Well, everybody that wanted scutelleria long. listen up. They don't look so good.:( I had them sittin' in the shade, so maybe they just didn't get enough sun. Some have lost lots of leaves, but look like they might recover. I'll bring them. If you don't want them, I'll understand. The rose cuttings are still green. Kim Granny Grimmits cutting has new leaves on it, so I think it'll survive. Don't know about the others. I've been using liquid seaweed and something called EM on these things. EM is supposed to be anti-fungal and have lots of microbes. EM stands for Effective Microbes. I didn't use it on the first batch and they died. These so far are doing OK. I'll try to remember to bring some of each for anybody that wants to try them.

Oh, Bookworm, the redbud I had for you died I think. Sorry. It sent roots down through the bottom of the pot and when DH picked it up, of course they broke. The leaves it had on it are shriveled.:(

Magnolia, TX(Zone 8b)

Don't know. Tired to ck but their site can't give info right now.
