College Station Spring Roundup-TRADES 2

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

Trishann, I will have (I think) a couple of extra toads that aren't already promised. They are pretty small, though. Which is probably just as well since the smaller ones haven't wilted as much as the bigger ones.

Freeport, TX

Dollie- I see they are in big demand and if you don't have any left it's ok, but I sure would like a pitcher plant. Also, I think I saw where you had an arrowhead vine? That would fit in nice around our koi pond. I think I can have a sea hibiscus for you ( some of them don't have a lot of variegation but the blooms will still be the same). See ya in CS

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

Dolly....which hoyas did you lose? I've got a few rooted ones I am going to bring, not sure if they are the ones you lost but hopefully they will help out. Sorry to hear about the roof.

:) Kim

Sugar Land, TX

I would also appreciate any salvias. Like Trishann, I am really falling in love with these plants! I love my Hot Lips, Coral Nymph, and White Nymph.

I also love my Indigo Spires and Mystic Spires, but I suspect I won't like them so much when they get HUGE.

Jo

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

I love my hot lips as well! It stays green all winter, and the hummers feed on it more than the feeders I put out. I've got some other salvia greggii that I picked up this spring, I will see if I can take some cuttings for you all. There's a purplish one, a pinkish one, and a coral colored one that is supposed to be a dwarf.

Kim

Iola, TX(Zone 8b)

Does anyone need bubble wrap?? I have plenty if you want some for sending out seeds or whatever...
Trishann

Sugar Land, TX

Thanks, Kim!

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

Trishann, I have a Seven Sisters rose bush (actually 2) that I really don't want. So I can bring cuttings if you'd like. Also I have Datura seeds for a double yellow, triple yellow and a double purple (see my trade list for a picture). They germinate very easily.

Anne

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Trishann,
I will take all the bubble wrap you offer.

Thank you,

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

AuntAnne,...I'd like to have some Seven Sisters cuttings, please ma;am....I've a co-worker "guest" who's coming to see what DG is all about - (I've been telling her about the RU and how much fun it is to be a DG'er)....and just a couple of days ago,....she commented that she's trying to find some 7S rose.....would be a nice "gift" for her 1st visit!

Thanks! Lee

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

She's welcome to come dig it up. Either one or both. lol I will get out and do clippings tomorrow evening.

Blueyes, I've painted myself into a corner. I don't see where I'm going to have time to do those signs. I didn't get by Hobby Lobby and the plain posterboard wouldn't hold up in this wind. (or rain for that matter).

Anne

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

No worries Anne...hopefully everyone will be able to find it ok. I think the directions are pretty simple off of hwy 6. Thanks!

Kim

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

k, I just think that we need to add a few more hours to the day, or better yet, I need a wife!! I have too much to do.

Anne

Fredericksburg, TX(Zone 8a)

Lynne, if you have any more butterfly iris, I'd appreciate it please. Is there anything I can bring for you?

BTW if anybody wants jade leaves to start new plants I can bring some. I don't know what kind they are though.

Fredericksburg, TX(Zone 8a)

LOL Anne. Maybe we should ask for a wife for Mother's Day?

DeRidder, LA(Zone 9a)

KARLAE, I'll get you tagged for the pitcher plant.

Kim, I lost all the ones from the hoya co-op last yr. and about 10 others. I'd have to go back and check which ones I ordered. One that I really loved was the fishtail hoya I had got in a DG trade a yr. or so ago. I'd love any you could spare. Thanks for sharing.

Lynn, I'd love to trade for the Double White Brugmansia, & Butterfly Iris.

See everyone Saturday!

DeRidder, LA(Zone 9a)

Lee, I have the 7 Sisters Rose if Anne doesn't have anymore. PLMK at least by 1:00 Friday...

Freeport, TX

Lynne- If I'm not too late, I'd like a dbl white brug as well. (Boy, we jumped on those like a duck on a Junebug, didn't we? LOL ) Check out our trade list or get with us in CS and we'll work out something. Cannagirl- I appreciate the pitcher plant, girl. Jim

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

cannagirl....I am sorry you lost all those. I have some rooted cuttings of the polyneura I will bring you, they are a little yellow from neglect over the winter but I just repotted them and they should perk up just fine. They just don't like being in my house all winter.

:) Kim

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

I have two bushes of them, not a problem.

Anne

Willis, TX(Zone 8b)

Thanks Anne (Thanks Cannagirl for the offer, too) - I'll bring a sharpshooter & large pots just in case she wants to Lee

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Lynne, I would like to trade for a white shrimp plant too, but I need to know what you would like to have for your garden. Here's a link to my trade list http://davesgarden.com/community/trading/list.php?list=have&member=patrob I don't have the one plant on your "want" list, but I do have a variety of plants not on my trade list. In the greenhouse I have quite a few succulent plants, including some night blooming cacti, that would prefer to live in a warmer zone than Central Texas, and I have lots of daylilies, several kinds of lilies, and some caladiums just coming up.
Thanks,
Patricia
