somewhere back there someone asked about YMMV. i use the phrase " your mileage may vary" a LOT, not related to cars, but i've never seen it as an acronym. Could it be what was meant?
Like, "i keep planting anemones, and they never come up for me, but go ahead and try them - your mileage may vary..."
(i'm tired and can't think of a witty example...)

Here's a snow pic which I took at MIL's the day after Christmas. It's the only snow we have had this year and this was not even at our house. MIL lives about 65 niles n.w. of us.

Hi all once again I am not caught up but I have been fighting the flu all week actually since last week. No I did not win I lost.

So sorry you have been fighting the flu, Marie. There have been a lot of sick folk lately. Fortunately, Pau and I have avoided any illness, but then we are pretty much avoiding crowds, too, and since we don't have children who live with us who go to school and bring home all the germs, etc., etc. we don't have to worry about that.
We did go to KMart yesterday but our KMart is never as busy as WalMart and there weren't very many people there. I found the dvd Sense and Sensibility and I was thrilled about that. I watched it last night and again this afternoon so you girls were all safe while I was gone. Lucky you!! No flyswatter!!
