sorry - i was editing while you were posting. i saw that Guys and Dolls will be at the dinner theatre later this year - and so will (another) sequel to Smoke on the Mountain. (When i worked in TN, they did the original Smoke every year, and the Xmas Smoke for the holidays!)
Stop and visit, talk all you want. Pt. 16
I would like to see Cirque du Soleil myself but I haven't checked on the ticket prices. Cost is always a factor when one is retired.
I am aware of the Rep. but they usually only have one matinee on Sunday afternoon. The rest of their performances are at night and I don't like to drive at night--and certainly not to downtown Little Rock. It's not a place you want to be without a male companion at night.
Thanks for looking up the information, though.
i understand!
Good morning everyone! Sienna actually gets to go to school today! :o)
Yea! Sienna!
Still sick but I wanted to check in. Evryone is doing well?
Celia, sorry you are still sick! :(
Yes, she was quite tickled to get back to school, and they even went ahead with their Valentine's party today! :o) Daddy made a mad dash to Wally World last night to get her some cards! LOL
That's too cute! LOL There's always a bunch left after whichever holiday it is.
My bosses daughter missed her Valentine party. Or so she thought. She missed the day because, in the area where they live, they got 2 1/2 feet of snow!!! She has to travel an hour to get her to shcool. (A special school.) They were able to get her there the next day and had a special Valentine party just for the ones who couldn't make it the day before.
AWE How sweet! :o)
It was. I'm going to go lay down again. My head is getting swimy once more. I thought I was over the worst of it.
Feel better girl! :o)
Good morning!
Sorry you're not feeling well Celia. Get well soon!
Tammy, so glad to hear Sienna is finally going back to school!
Nothing much going on here. Saw in the paper, this..well, he's a man now..but he was a little boy at the time. He used to ride on the back of his daddy's bike to the station every Sat. afternoon. What a cutie. He rolled his car last Fri. night and he was killed. ;(
My allergies are acting up and I don't know why/what, so I can't remove whatever it is from the house. And no it's not my new rug, it started before I got it ☺
Terry, sorry to hear that! :(
I was about to say it was that new rug and you'd just have to send it to me! :o)
Good afternoon, all! Sorry that you are still not feeling well, Celia.
Marcy, are you out there? How is your sore throat doing?
Glad Sienna got to go to school today, Tammy, and to have the Valentine Party, too!
Sorry to hear about the young man being killed, Terry. Also, I hope you find what is causing your allergies to kick in.
Tammy, too bad that you won't be getting Terry's rug! LOL
It is a beautiful day here. The sun is shining and we are supposed to be heading for a high of 60º. However, it is only 52º on our backporch right now. Pau and I bought a white climbing rose (Iceberg) at Home Depot on Sunday. They had them on sale for 3.98. We are going to plant it this afternoon. We'll have to go get a trellis for it to climb on because he wants to plant it in front of the "army tank" (electrical box) in our front side yard. We already have red knock-out roses there but he wants the climbing rose and trellis to completely hide the "army tank".
Y'all have a good afternoon. I'll check in later.
Mau
Hi all! Sorry that your sick Celia.... and glad your little one is better Tammy!
My Jeff and Sarah have been running temps right around 102.5. Doctor said yesterday its the flu. Said I've got about 7-10 days for them each to be sick Hooray!! (NOT LOL) Jeff missed all last week, and Sarah and Tori both missed today.... Tori is not sick, she just thinks she is.... she whined and cried, but as soon as time for the bus to be gone passed, she was fine, surprising huh? LOL I'm really ready for them to go back to school. This is the 4th day they have been home and cooped up inside.
Trail Blazer is back in the shop. It had 72 miles on it from when I got it back, and we discovered a transmission line was broken, so back it went. Different mechanic this time though, I'm not waiting 3 weeks again... I should have it back in the next couple days.
Mau, I'm so jealous!! Its 21 degrees here, and its so cold. Talked to Mike he slipped and fell at work, says he is ok, but I'm worried.
I do have good news though, my best friend is definately coming next month, she'll be here from the 11th until the 18th. She is supposed to get her tickets today. I can't wait! I wanted to have the house done before she got here, but that isn't gonna happen, but I'm not gonna stress about it.
Well, I'll try to stop back in later on
Hugs
Janis
That IS good news, Janis. You'll have a blast.
I have good news, too. My brother Scott from Oregon is coming into town tomorrow. He'll be visiting until Saturday. We're going to visit with Mom and, hopefully, his daughter who lives in Orem. (45 minutes from us.) If my daughter can make it through a storm coming, she'll be here, too!!! LOL It'll be houseful, which we haven't had in a long time. Spare bedrooms come is SOOOOO handy, don't they?
I'm feeling a little better so I can help Darrell clean for company. Sort of.
Glad you all are feeling better! :o)
Celia, that is cool you have your family coming in, enjoy!!! ♥♥♥
Enjoy your visit with your family, Celia! Yes, spare bedrooms certainly do come in handy!!☺☺☺
Janis, sorry that Jeff and Sarah are sick and I certainly hope Tori doesn't get what they have! Don't be jealous of our pretty weather today--the next 3 days we will only have highs in the mid-40's! Of course, that may sound warm to you! I know you are looking forward to your friend's visit in March. Who knows--maybe she will pitch in and help you finish your re-decorating!! Now THAT would be a best friend to have for sure!!
Tammy--looks like you and I are going to have to hold down the fort for a while. LOL
So long as you promise to keep that flyswatter put up! LOL :o)
Well, if you promise to be good! LOL
Well, now, hmmmmmmmmm, can I really make a promise like THAT??!!! HA HA HA :o)
No Tammy, you can't LOL and it's really unfair of Mau to ask such a request from you, don't you think? ☺
Love you Mau!! ♥♥♥ (I'm going back to my corner now ☺)
Terry, we might just be sharing that corner and some crayons later once Mau gets ahold of us! TEE HEE :o)
Oh shoot, wait a minute. I was over at another site and somebody used the acronym of YMMV. I have no clue, so I did a search. I find Your Mileage May Vary or Your Market May Vary. I wasn't on a car site, I was at another gardening site. So all you that use all these annoying acronyms, what does YMMV mean? Now I'll go back to my corner
Terry, I don't have a clue what those initials mean--that's a first for me!!
and by the way, Tammy, I NEVER give crayons to naughty children--ESPECIALLY if they are sitting in the corner!!
Sorry, have no clue on that one!
Mau, do you need a spot in our corner, too?! It might be fun, ya never know!! LOL :o)
Doggone it, can't win for losing! LOL
Ok, how bout we leave Terry in the corner and I just get the crayons!? :o)
Now THAT sounds like a plan, Tammy! Terry, are you listening?
Psssst....Tammy, you can pass me some crayons when Mau isn't looking! But shhhh...
No Mau, I'm not listening. What did you say?
Mau, close your eyes and cover your ears! ☻ :o)
Here they are, Terry.
Never seen those initials before. lol.
Are you SURE it's not your rug causing your allergies? I would be more than happy to take that rug off your hands so that you can quit sniveling and sneezing. :~p
Everyone who is sick get better!! We have something going around at work again but I should get lucky, again, and not get it. lol. Only caught a head cold last month which was my first sickness in 2 yrs.
shhh......what should I draw?? Mau and Pau and us kids?? By our house with the sun shining and maybe some clouds? Oh and some flowers!! Shhhh...quiet now....
I'm sorry. I don't have listening ears on...
no clouds, too dreary. make it all sun shiny and lotsa purty flowers. I hope Mau still has her eyes and ears covered. speaking very, very softly so we can get away with this and not get in trouble. ☻
darn it, I broke a crayon! boo hoo hoo
Just some fluffy clouds floating by....pass me that crayon, it'll work better for the grass...shhhh....
Mau's have ears and eyes in the back of their head--don't you know? -- sounds like you two have selective hearing!
Pepper, I sure hope you don't get sick. There are enough sick folk on this thread already!!
Can't be quiet as long as I'm around. LALALALALALALALA

Terry, did you hear a funny sound? I think I heard something, but not sure what it was. ☻
Did you find the crayon? I slid it past Mau, but she might have caught it before you did.
I only get sick twice a year if I get sick. Knock on wood.
