I am planning to attend. I won't have much to trade; some sedum, some Texas Ash seedlings, some maple seedlings, some Mutabilis rose cuttings.
Josephine, I would love to have one of the Caroline Cherry laurels, if I have something you would like.
Phyllis, I would love to have a Homestead tomato plant, if I have something you would like.
Adeline
Waxahachie Plant Party - trade page
I am waiting until a day or two before to see just what I have that will divide easily.
A great deal is what Mitch has shared with me this winter and spring. It is just now getting established. I also plant a lot from seed so that is always a long shot as to what and how much.
Besides, I like surprises.
Aloha,
PK
You got it Adeline.
Bluesmaven, i would like some Dill and Fennel, what would you like from my list?
Posie just 1?
or did ya want 2? :)
will mark them for ya
Josephine, can I have the Frog Fruit?
I don't have a list as yet, as right now I don't know for sure what I'll be bringing. I've got a zillion little seedling emerging, so whatever is healthy enough later this month, that's what I'll bring.
Carla
Sure Carla, the Frogfruit is yours.
Thank you, Josephine.
Carla
More stuff added to my list.
T.J. May I have 2 Loostrife, and 2 Red yuccas? Please?
TJ--Salvia divinorum; if I make it, you got it.
I just updated my list above as to what I have
Bronc the clover you want is that the red ones you see along the roadside right now blooming????
Sure Josephine you can have some dill and fennel. Can I have a turks cap and an evening primrose? Can I also have a Penstemon Tenuis?
This message was edited Apr 3, 2008 10:13 AM
Of course, I am reserving those for you.
Sheryl. can I get a fennel and dill also?
Josephine can you set a Penstemon, turk's cap, and Queen Ann's aside for me?
I will get my list going soon. Promise!
Sure Sheila!
I have a BUNCH of Crepe Myrtle seeds. They are from several different plants. My boyfriend collected them from his property he's selling in Springtown. Most of the plants have white blooms but some have purple. No way to tell on the seeds and he just put them all in one baggie. If anyone wants any lmk. His land out there hasn't been watered except by mother nature in years and all the crepe myrtles are coming up strong.
Yes Sheila I will, I have to do it tomorrow, I used up all my edits today.
Mibus2, I have 3 rabbits that would really appreciate it if I grew some carrots for them? Can I have some of yours? Which would be the best for bunnies? What would you like from me?
Thanks both of you.
I just remembered, Josephine your link is not entered for where you put your items. I will redirect it now.
HERE IS THE TRADE LIST LINKS..... http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=4553538

Blue either one would work fine back in Illinois it didn't' matter what they were the rabbits still got in the garden and ate them LOL
how many packs ya want?
I have 5 of the nantes and 2 of the danvers
um if you have enough fennel would be good as I am trying to get a herb garden going.
Now Mibus, you can't kill the Swallowtail caterpillars that show up on your fennel....ok?
hahaha caterpillars can be good ..not the tent ones in the peach trees that are no longer but on flowers and such some are okay ...and of course snakes if they catch me off guard are done for ..I still need to get a book on Texas snakes to just have on hand to read and learn the good guys from the bad guys.
I for got I have to add 3 cabbage plants to my list LOL...don't need all 9 of them to plant LOL
Phyllis, there are 3 poisonous snakes that are in our area: rattlesnakes, cottonmouth(mocassin), and copperhead. That doesn't include the one's that have escaped from captivity. The rest are harmless and even helpful. Did you read the article on snakes yesterday? good stuff!
caterpillars are why I am growing the fennel and dill in the first place lol. Sure, Mibus2, you can have some fennel too. Let me have Danver's. Just one pack thanks!
They also love parsley. Had a bumper crop of swallowtail last year.
Bronc listen real close..LOL..If a snake surprises me meaning I do not see it ..it catches me off guard ...it will not matter what it is...... it might not be around long.
they are not cold they are not slimy...just have had BAD experience in childhood and have not been able to totally shake it
I am also growing parsley but it's mainly for my bunnies. They love parsley and cilantro.
misbus, if you have any more candlebush seedlings, I would love to have one.
you got it!
Added 2 chinese indigo to my list.
Mibus, when you edit your posts, you can go down and delete your previous edits so you won't have so many. (~;
why thank ya SIR hehehehe..didn't' really pay as close of attention as I should have when doin it. or I would have before now
Well, the Texas Ash seedlings didn't work out so I will not have those after all.
I have some very tiny Texas ash seedlings I can bring. Serious about the tiny part--they are just putting out leaves. But I can try to bring some. Who wanted them?
Okay, I don't have a lot left after College Station, but can bring some rooted and unrooted cuttings.
- red & white bicolor salvia greggii (definitely unrooted)
- sedums, mostly creepers-Dragon's blood, golden carpet, blue cypress, maybe a couple of noids, possibly Autumn Joy
- begonias
- coleus, different varieties
- ruellia, just about any kind
- echinacea
- red trop hibiscus (definitely unrooted)
- pink skullcap (definitely unrooted)
- tiny Texas ash seedlings
- tiny division of yarrow 'Pomegranate' (taken)
------------------------------------
Giving:
For Mitch: heart-leaf philo, swedish ivy, Morning Light echeveria, red noid trop. hibiscus, sanseviera, begonia cuttings
For Barbara: toads, Pomegranate yarrow
For Dawn: toads
For Sylvia: tall blue thug ruellia, variegated thug vinca major (next year we will all have to go and dig Sylvia out)
For Sheila: pink monarda
For Phyllis: ruellia (surprise her), wisteria trimmings
For Bluesmaven: ruellia, coneflowers, red hib cutting
-----------------------------------

Oops, sorry, I've lost track of this...have to edit it later.

pb, thank you for the toads. i have never heard of pomegranate yarrow and have found it to be a short red. i want it. what do i have for your plants? i have lots of lilies that are not on my list. and never forget that i have mums. lol. lmk what it is on my list that you like. also, i have some brand new seedlings that just won't grow that i can list. but they are still too small to trade. oh, i have a small rooted pink champagne clematis.
A month ago I dug up some red Canna bulbs. I don't know if these are the dwarf reds or the big boys. But if they're still viable after a month in my garage, y'all are welcome to them. I have updated my listing above, too.
Carla
ooooooo a pink clematis I bet that is pretty in bloom..... If no one else asks for it may I have it?
Pb ..could I have some ruellia?
My list of stuff I have is towards the top ...I do have rose bushes I could take some cuttings from and some I think day lilies that I am going to have to divide this year but no idea the color of them they were here when we moved in if there is nothing in my list you like
Sure, Phyllis, what kind of ruellia would you like? I have the tall purple ones, some medium pink ones (Chi-chi), and some Katies. The Katies are still small but that shouldn't stop them; you will still have more than you ever wanted in two years. :)
Now, I have to tell you, in my experience, they all really wilt up when they're dug. Sometimes they look dead. But they never are. Just give them a couple of weeks.
I can also bring you some wisteria vines, but I am jammed for time in the next few days, and will probably not have time to clean off the leaves. I'll be glad to bring them if you still want them.
Hey, if you still have Homestead tomatoes, I could use one or two. Just built a new raised bed for veggies.
Barbara, I'm saving the Pomegranate for you. I've never seen it either, LOL, but liked the picture on the tag. We'll both know pretty soon because it's budded out.
I'm also putting you on my FALL list for the salmon beauty yarrow and coral phygelius that I ordered this year. I hope they'll be big enough to get some divisions by then.
I couldn't find a list for you, but if you have an extra rudbeckia, I'll bet that would look great next to Carla's oxeye daisies. I also love daylilies. We'll just see what you get there with.
