pixie - what a beautiful picture!
Today's Weather in Your Garden - 9
See that, Pixie! I'm not your only fan.
Another wonderful photo, Al.
Very nice Al. Do you sleep?
Thanks.
My sleep schedule is less than desired in the winter. I'll sleep tonight.
Thank you Amy, Pirl & Al. and Al, nice picture for a sleep deprived person! LOL
Love both of the sunrises!! Eleanor
Supposed to be near 60 on Tuesday! Crazy weather.
Great photos, everyone!!
Beautiful sunrises!!
It was -8 degrees to begin yesterday's weather, and a +8 degrees to begin today's. Heat wave coming for sure. Already they are calling it the January Thaw. A bit early, I think though.
Today's forecast:
Current temp: 8°
Projected High Temp: 38°
Winds: Calm
Barometric Pressure: 30.41 and rising
Dewpoint: 6°
Visibility: 5 miles
Sunrise: 7:20 Sunset: 4:28
The days ARE getting longer! Hooray!!
Conflicting temperatures according to NOAA (42.9) and Weatherbug (35).
Sunrise 7:14 and sunset 4:35. By mid January it's still somewhat light out at 5 PM. Hurray!
Three cheers for longer days!!
(Even if they aren't very warm)
If the weather man is correct, we should see 40 all next week!!!!! I could work outside in 40 degree's, but nothing to work on...it's all buried!!
No spray painting blue flowers in the snow?
Great idea, pirl. Perhaps I should use my huge snowbank as a blank canvas and spray paint flowers all over it.
Yes! Garden designing!
Oh, thats a good idea Pirl! At least id have something beside white to look at when I look out the window.
Supposed to be warming up here for while too. 35 this morning.
I can't wait for some warmth!!
OMG, too funny! I finally ventured out yesterday as the family had "bare cupboard syndrome". I spent $300 in hopes of not having to go out for another week-10 days.
Oh, I'm so glad it is warming up soon for you guys up there! I just had the best morning of gardening I've had in quite awhile. I finally felt up to getting out and doing something, and the weather was good, so I bloom boostered everything in sight! I spent the whole morning out there puttering around and it felt so good and so satisfying to know that everything has been fed!
Hope you do get the 40s throughout the NorthEast!!!! January Thaw Time!!!
Well, I wish you were down here, Sherrie! I still think you should all rent a big van and come on down!! LOL
Louise, don't tempt us...it's not nice and you could end up with 50 guest from the NE! LOL

I suggest that our next Round Up be held at Louise's winter gardens! If we capitalize those words, would that make it a historical landmark? And would she have to charge an admission fee? And, could we each write it off on our taxes as an educational fee? Oh my! So many questions!
Oh yes!
The weather ......
Current Temp: 24° (my goodness! what a difference a day makes!)

The clouds were beautifully laced with pink this morning,

Better than 'The Bliz"
Were you using your GPS?
Yes - it told me to tie myself to the tracks, odd huh?
Did it have a Boris Badenoff voice??
Nice shot, Al!
Good idea, Candyce! 50 people in our guest room bed!! LOL!!
Ahhh, the 50's today! (The temp, not the age.)
