I don't care for egg nog, but I love french toast! I make mine with eggs, a touch of milk, and lotsa brown sugar, and sometimes add a touch of cinnamon. MAN, that sounds really good!

That only leaves 3 and 4, so why not do em all? It would look beautiful with all of them if ya have room!

I don't have the room. We have others we purchased there to put with them. we've got a whole nautical theme going on in here.

Oh, my new Amaryllis is Apple Blossom. I bought a beautiful blue pot, hoping they will contrast well together.

Well, be sure to hang on to those and you could always rotate them occasionally?

The bulb seemed to be in good shape, but the leaves are kinda puny. I am hoping they will perk up quickly once the light reaches them. I hadn't been turning the other one enough, so it is a bit lop sided for the moment! So, I am trying to make sure I don't leave it in one place as long to try to straighten it back up.

My paperwhites are coming up, too. They are in a red pot. Very pretty and Christmasy.

I am a teeth gritter! My teeth hurt all the time because of it, and Sienna does it, too! She sleeps with me most of the time since he works nights, so I bet it is a real teeth grittin fest! LOL

Speaking of foods, do you know of any bulbs or tubers that can be bought at the grocery store that can be planted? I read a thread where someone bought one and got an elephant ear for less than a buck!

Which ginger, do you know? I have some spiral ginger that I need to get potted up, and it is gonna be beautiful, if I can get it to germinate! I have looked at the pineapple plants at Lowe's and there is something about them that don't tickle my fancy. I have been waiting for them to put some bromeliads on clearance, but they just aren't doin it!

I don't think I liked that? I think my Dad's GF brought that with them from California once and didn't care for it.

Whatever the ginger is they sell at the store. I don't know what kind it is.

The ginger is a tuber. You should be able to get a nice plant going from them.

As for potatoes...you can cut them into quarters as long as they have at least two "eyes" each. Not too deep and keep watered. After that...I don't know.

I have an episode of Angel on the tube. It's been sitting there waiting for me since we started! LOL

I think I may have to go to the store tomorrow instead of Shaun, he will NEVER know! LOL
I was just told the cutest thing on another thread! I told em that I think I must really have an itch for Spring, and germinater come back and said I probably did, but I really should get some sleep this winter! LOL
