Aww Tammy that first pic looks like "catnip" to me!!!! And the babies are darling!!!
Marilyn, yes, I made them like the original recipe....but I want to try them with the cinnamon chips too. Those cinnamon chips are GOOD...if you can find them. Sometimes they are hard to find. Our Walmart has them...check there.
Well the program was adorable tonight. Some kids were waving hi to people in the audience. One said she was tired....lol. Our little guy said his arm hurt! But he did good. I was just amazed that he could stand still that long, and seemed to know the words to the songs pretty much too. Sometimes he did have to look at the little girl next to him to see what to do next though....lol. So cute! He sure is all boy though...no doubt about that!
Stop and visit, talk all you want pt 5
Ya better watch out, ya better not, Oh YA, I took a nap today, so no tellin what I will get in to tonight! LOL
Kwan, yes I understand what you mean, but then again...lol. When they see other women making a mistake, but they don't see their own? I'm just glad I made my blunder at the age of 16. Was with the jerk till 18. So only 2 yrs of my life missing...lol. Funny what we do when we think we're in "love". You'd just think, that she'd see our parents, married 51 yrs, my husband and me, married 26 yrs....?? How can she not see what's good? I don't know. It makes my head to try and figure her out. I just know I haven't liked any of the 3 she married. I even begged her not to marry #1, but she did it anyway. sigh.
Marcia, I don't know what was wrong with the Milk Paint sticking. I'm thinking now, after doing research of course, that the Extra Bond I have is way too old. It's never been opened, but I guess the shelf life is only 1-2 yrs and I've had it...since '02? I think. I also think it might of been stored while I was working on this house. And that was winter time. The movers warehouse isn't heated or cooled. I "think" I had that type of stuff stored in my parents basement. But I'm not 100% sure. I am happy to report that the primer stuck! I'm not sure if I want to chance doing a straight milk paint covering again, or if I should just leave it as it is. I'm not sure I can put the urethane over primer though. Even my carpenter, who for fun I call my other husband, doesn't know. I've never heard of your brand. Let me know how it works out. Here's what I have
http://www.milkpaint.com/
Stephen King??!!!! I LOVE him! 'Pet Sematary' was THE best book I've ever read! The movie was good, but jeez, in the book, he just has a way of writing. Same with 'Misery'...you understood the movie better if you'd read the book. Has anybody seen the remake of 'Halloween'? I just imagine that movie without Jamie Leigh Curtis. That movie scared the bejeebas out of me.
Tammy, the puppies are really cute!
Now speaking of movies, a movie I can watch over and over, but don't own and I can't find it to buy it, is 'Pretty Woman'. My daughter is waiting for me to start....talk later......
thanks terry! mau, guess i will behave somewhat as the glue gun got the best of my forefinger! OUCH is NOT what came out my mouth either!!!!!!!!!!
Tsk, tsk, Tammy! Do you kiss your kids with that mouth?LOL Don't worry, I'm a cusser, too!
I hope someone's still up for a minute. If not, I'll just ramble for a minute.
It's 38º and rainy but not too much. LOTS of water running off the roof from snowmelt. Temps seem to be dropping just a little. We'll see what morning brings.
Tammy, the ID on your plant is incorrect. It's Felis felis "Catnap". I have two of my own.
Terry, Buy,com has "Pretty Woman" for $14.98.
And Stephen King? My favorite of his is "Bag of Bones". The suspense is amazing! Second would be either 'Insomnia" or "Rose Madder". Gives me the tingles just thinking about them! LOL Think I'll start Bag of Bones after I finish the one I'm reading now.
Going to head to bed. It's been a busy day and I'm hungry again. Bad to eat now, I know but I can't help it! Goodnight!
HA HA HA and it wasn't even me that made you hungry this time! LOL
See Mau, I WAS a good girl last night! (but only cause I had to be! LOL)
Celia, Shaun said he seen Pretty Woman at Wal-Mart for either a buck or 5 bucks on their pallets. Might go check it out to see if they have some Stephen King, too! :)
Gosh you all were really good last night!!
Misty those puppies are too cute. I love the "fuzzy plant" picture.
Janice where are you?
I am proud of myself for 'having' to be good, NOT! LOL
Boy it sure is quiet in here this morning, where is everyone??!!
Yes it is very quiet and I am so bored here in my office.
And exactly why were you so good last night?
LOL Cause the glue gun took off the side of my forefinger and I couldn't stand it when the ice wasn't on it. I have a huge blister now, but it don't hurt, so I am not gonna pop it! LOL
I that is almost a good reason!!
Almost! LOL
Janice ((((hugs))))))
Hi!
DD is coming by in a few minutes! Yea! She's visiting from north of us. Haven't seen her in two months. I'll get pictures of her and her boyfriend.
Anybody still here?
I think everyone is in shock cause Celia and I behaved ourselves last night! :)
ME ME ME LOL
Hey, Tammy!
HEY, Celia! Are you having withdrawal symptoms? LOL
Yeah somthing is just not right about that. Did mau take you two aside and make oyu behave?
That is awesome that you get to see your daughter Celia. I cannot wiat to see pictures :o)
YES, I was afraid I was gonna get WHOOPED! LMAO :)
Congratulations on your new additions. They are darling......I thought for a minute I was seeing Bostons! Interviewed a new vet yesterday and then realize we had seen him before at the "old" vets. He and one of the other drs started their own practice including emergency service. I do believe we will move over there. Both of them are quite knowledgeable about Bostons. And their prices are more reasonable. Going to set up to have Bitty a sonagram, hopefully next week. My life with Drs, if it's not for me or DH, it's for the dogs. Micro chipping is the way to go! We get it done at about 8 weeks. It's part of my new puppy package. I don't let mine leave until their about 10 weeks and already pretty well potty trained and can at least understand what sit and stay means. Boston's are bright and catch on quick. I'm real particular about who gets these furbabies and yes I will turn em down flat, not a problem. The adult dogs are a great indicator as well. We did have one guy show up that I literally had to throw out of my house. Even the puppies were growling at him and Tank was going bananas, he meant business. This moron was determined he was getting one of my puppies, that would be NO WAY! Creepy.
I saw that link, mistygardener. While I agree with a lot of it, there are things I certainly don't agree with, just lurked and moved on, I knew I was getting hot. And I'd love to find one of those cheap spay/neuter clinics. Right!
Oh I love Boston's, too! I think she went about it in all the wrong ways, and since she already had her RANT thread, she should have just gotten it started again instead of what she did.
I didn't know you could micro chip that early, though, but my Pug has it. I even watched it be done and it was no big deal. I don't blame you for not letting the creep take one of your puppies! If they can't take care of themselves they surely couldn't take care of one of your babies! I think we named them right as Teensy doesn't eat NEAR what Tuxedo does, he is a little piggy! LOL
Gonna attach a pic of my boo boo, although it was kinda hard to take it since I am right handed and I couldn't look through the lens! LOL
What kinda booboo is that? How old are your puppies? Yeah, I can understand her rant, but didn't appreciate the comments about small time breeders among other things. Agree the public is terrible about this and it's awful, however, until the spay/neuter clinics are a lot, lot cheaper it's going to be an issue. People just don't think that way, I'm sorry to say. I make sure we can afford to do this or we wouldn't be doing it. We've raised and love more strays of all types of animals for many years and I don't appreciate being tarred with that brush.
I will post puppy pics when they come and she can feel free to take me on........not a problem.
Well, I was trying to make a perty Christmas Basket for Dh's Mom which has been in the hospital since October 31st and the glue gun got the better end of the deal!
I, too, can understand her rant, but did NOT appreciate how she came in and talked to me the way she did! You have been to her rant thread, haven't you?
We will all love to see Puppy Pics when you have them! Lets just hope the "puppy patrol' leaves you alone!
Oh ya, they are now 6 days old, and getting fatter by the minute, or second for Tuxedo! LOL
Celia, why is it you make me hungry?! LOL
Rub some neosporin around and over the blister and cover it. It'll resolve itself quickly and you won't get an infection. The puppy patrol can just bring it! When do you start introducing soft food? I usually start at about 3 weeks and we go from there. Thank the Lord, I have old ratty floors. They do get scrubbed more regular like when we have puppies......LOL
Neosporin is great stuff and hadn't even thought about that, thanks!
I don't know that the puppy patrol will have much more to say after the last time, other than on her own thread.
At the rate Tuxedo is eating now, he would eat soft food now if he could! LOL DH weighed them last night and he is more than 4 ounces heavier than she is! I have old ratty floors too thanks to having 3 kids! I gave up on trying to keep the stains out of the carpet and I will NOT replace them til they are gone! LOL
Good friends are associated with food, that's why. Can't have one without the other.
Okay...that was my final visit until next year, I guess. Boyfriend wanted to go eat before court (he's lobbying for custody of his kids) and they had very little time. I would have gone with them but I wasn't ready yet. Sigh
Awe, that was such a short visit, Celia, so sorry for that!
Well, if that is the case, do you have any chocolate?! LOL
She looks so sweet, and happy! :)
I donno much about Football, but found it funny they are wearing different team jackets! :)
He is a handsome young man! :)
Yes, they have a running competition going. It's very funny to listen to them arguing, lol
I can only imagine!
I am thinking I need a nap! I didn't go to sleep til late, then didn't sleep well since I only had like 2 positions I could lay holding an ice pack on my finger!
Cute couple and I was going to say the same thing about the team jackets. Friendly competition is good for the soul!!
I am so excited I get my grandson back today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oaky, take your nap. I have to run to the store and get us some food in this house! Haven't been in days. Take care.
Ooo..Marie! That's exciting!
