Celia, I'm not sure. I know there is one place we used to go to that we couldn't sit on the kitchen side because the dishwasher stuff they used caused my asthma to flare up so bad we almost ended up in the emergency room one night! So it might have just been something in the air.

A friend of my sisters convinced her kids that Santa wants a root beer float instead of milk and cookies. Jennee is not amuised. No one in her house will or can drink a root beer float, but if she doesn't make one, the kids will freak LOL I'm not drinking it eugh! I don't do root beer!

5 pounds of caramels?? OMG I still haven't even gone shopping for the stuff I need to make cookies :(( I don't want to think about it LOL I can maybe do it while I'm in town one day this week, maybe. I really need to make cookies since Mike bought me that mixer LOL

The flooring is vinyl tile for the kitchen and bathroom. 240 square feet for the kitchen alone. The paint is off white for the bedroom and living room, and willow wind (pale green) for the kitchen. The border is for the kids rooms and kitchen. And the girls room needs a second coat of pink and the ceiling needs done yet.

I aint even gonna try to get caught up with you all tonight! LOL You think Kwan and I are hard to catch up with! :)

Yes, Terry, Marcy is the Marcia I was referring to. Her name is Marcia Sue and my name is Marilyn Sue---it could get confusing around here so we better stick with 'marcy' and 'mau'. LOL and there are lots of puppies down here in AR but Mr. Bah Humbug Pau says no dogs in the house so I'll have to make do with constructing one from all the dog hair in your house! LOL

Speaking of dog hair--that reminds me, Celia, that you said you got a long hair from one of your cats around your eyeball? How wierd is that! Makes me shudder to think about it! and sorry about that foot--take care of yourself and let us know what the Dr. says about it tomorrow.

Janis, don't you have anything that needs to be refinished? I might just as well refinish something while I'm there! How are putting the vinyl down? Glue? Or do we have those click and snap?

I had told Mau about 2 end tables that I just refinished. I'll put a photo in here so she and everybody else can see how good I am ;p These 2 were what I'd call a honey pine color. I stripped them, put on 2 coats of red mahogany stain and about 6 coats of poly. First 3 were a wipe on furniture poly that looked awful. So I went with what I usually use, Polycrylic to get the look they are now. I changed out the knobs on both...the one on the left was a wood knob, the other was a ceramic. I've never cared for the tables as they were, so I thought I'd try and class them up a bit. The one on the right has drop leaves, you can have it as shown in the picture, drop one and leave one up, your choice on which one you drop, or you can drop them both down.

Yes...I am Marcia. The only people who call me Marcy are on the computer, because when I tried to get the name Marcia, someone already had it. No one in my 'for real' life calls me Marcy! But I don't mind...actually I kind of like it!
Janis, I'm really glad my DGD believes still! I hope she does for a long time. But how does it happen that your 11 yr old does? I would think kids at school would tell her?

Terry, my milk paint isn't powder. I can't tell you the brand off hand, but it is liquid. I think I am going to have to open it now...curiosity is killing me now...lol! I don't envy you doing all those pieces on the stairs!! Good luck with that! I like to paint, but I hate to stain or put on finish....or sand!

That reminds me of one of the presents sis is getting. She wanted one of the chia pets, so I got her one that is Tweety and Sylvester. Only bad thing is that it has grass instead of an herb. But I have plenty of seeds to share with her! LOL

It's been a long day.

I had surgery about 3 months ago. Was on crutches for 4 weeks, then on a cane for another four. It was getting better but then..I don't know. It just started swelling, which means one of two things:

1. nothing, just a normal reaction to walking on it after tendon damage...
or 2. I've damaged something else in there. Maybe by hitting it or straining it.

Mmm...Chocolate...

Well I hope the doc can fix it then! I know I sure was hurting by the time we got done today. We did Big Lots-which was nothing this year! I made it out of there on less than 20 bucks, last year I think we spent about 2-300 there.
I did NOT buy me any chocolate and I am regretting it! LOL I did luck out and get some Munchos, which are hard to find anymore!
I had some Christmas Money and had a hard time finding any plants! So, I got myself another Amaryllis, and a purdy pot, and some LARGE pots on clearance at Lowe's for 50 cents a piece!

I could spend a week in Lowe's. They need to build one next door.

I was rereading the comments about kids and Santa. My DD believed on the Fat Man until she was 8. Some kid in school ruined it for her.

Shaun would kill me if we had a Lowe's next door! That would be almost as bad as having a nursery in your back yard! Although, I might have to worry about him as well if we had one next to us! LOL

Ya, my son tried to tell sis that there wasn't a Santa, but we convinced her that he was real. Kids in school can be so mean! I still remember some of the bullies from my child hood. I had one that called me "Pokey Joe", and another that gave me a black eye in Kindergarten, and "I" got in trouble for it! When I was older, I had one that used to harass me on the bus until I kicked right where it counts! He never touched me again! HA HA HA

Why is it I always get hungry when we are on here?! LOL

Yeah, mean kids. There was a girl in one of my classes in Jr. High that TERRIFIED me. I was the new kid and she was going t oshow everybody how cool she was by beating the crap out of me. Every day, I'd find a different way out of school or just hung out elsewhere until I knew she was gone. Whew! Never did get that beating.

We crossed! I'm hungry too. Seems whenever I get on here that's what happens.

OMG, I am thinking back to my first day of Kindergarten now! LOL I remember going home and hiding under the kitchen table, balling my eyes out cause I did NOT want to take PE! School was never the same! HA HA HA

Maybe it is all the mischief Mau says we get into, gotta have energy to keep going! ROTFLOL I really didn't eat much today, especially with all the running. I had a croissant and 2 scrambled eggs this morning, then Sonic this afternoon. No wonder I am hungry!
