Snow Photos!!

I asked some who went if it was gross, and they said no. Even though I am a nurse, some stuff is still gross.

Rehoboth, MA(Zone 5a)

debilu, that is BEAUTIFUL PICTURE, SHOULD BE A X-MAS CARD...oops, sorry

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Thanks Maria, actually this is my Christmas card this year - a sunset out the same window last year with my paper snowflakes.

We always have the rose breasted sparrows, but have not seen one of rhem this year, but my eyes are not very good with colors anymore, so that may be the reason, perfect picture of one of them

Sorry Maria, picked the wrong thumbnail from my file.

Lovely winter shots, Ladies!! Does my heart good to see those as I sit here with hot flashes and the a/c on full throttle!

Candyce - I'll be interested in seeing your updated photo tomorrow!

Nice evening snow shots Victor. Here are a few from this am after the storm. We got just shy of a foot of snow in about ten hours. It came down so fast you couldn't keep up with it shoveling.

You can see some of the piles of snow from the plow in the background.

When I went out this am to clean off the front steps, all the birds were singing, if I were them I think I would just stay home most of the day.

Wow - you got way more than me! Nice shots.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Some good snow pics guys. No doubt the best snow pics are from new snow.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Nice snow pictures, you guys 'down south' got way more than me. I was driving home from the hospital at 5 am in that crap, had it in 4 wheel drive all the way. We had black ice and then snow on top so it was kinda hairy driving after 22 hours of being awake.

I'm sure you were still on cloud nine though!

I'll have another chance to get some snow photos tomorrow, for sure.

Upper Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 5a)

Loved all of the new snow shots. You snow shovelers don't shoot me but I can't wait for a good snow storm so I can get some shots. Good thing my DH is not looking over my shoulder! Eleanor

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9a)

Just wanted to pop on and let you all know how much I am enjoying your photo's - not to mention the lively conversation in the NE forum!

We're originally from Upstate NY, transplanted to Phoenix and dreaming of the day when we can return for more than the semi-annual vacation!

Happy Holidays!
Audrey

Welcome Audrey! Stop by anytime. Great shots everyone!

mrsj - send your weather our way. We are going to need it.

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9a)

Thanks everyone! I'd love to send some warm weather your way....my Dad tells me they are expecting 6-18" of snow later tonight .....we squeeked through a freeze warning last night....I would not mind the cold except I have hibiscus that are full of flower buds.....it stayed hot so late into the winter here they got a bit confused!

It did snow here last January......of course I was back in NY enjoying winter weather and missed snow on my own back porch --- isn't that the way it always goes?

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Welcome, Audrey! Your mini photo is just lovely! We're happy to have you joining in all the fun!

Candyce - cute signs......your photo brought back a fun memory of my son and I shoveling paths in the snow in our back yard for our dog many years ago. We got carried away and had a whole road system and made up street signs with silly things on them for him. It was great fun!

Deb - beautiful snowy tree, and your snowflakes are nicely showcased in this shot!

Bebop - what a serene little shot of the creek!

Southeast, MA(Zone 6b)

Love all the snow pics guys! Anyone that got short changed will get your share tomorrow by the sounds of it. If you need snow you can have my share, I am already sick of shoveling it and it is just the beginning. It does look pretty from inside I have to admit. :)

Tucson, AZ(Zone 9b)

Loving the snow pictures!!

Upper Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 5a)

Nice to meet you Audrey!! You're very welcome to be a part of the Northeast Forum. A before pic of my backyard (after will come after the storm). Eleanor
