Laura,
I would love to see a beach covered in shells like that! Here in Washington State and also or neighboring state Oregon you find wonderful rounded rocks on the beaches. There is a beach by my parents house that is full of sand dollars (most are alive, they are fuzzy and black when alive and stick out of the sand on thier sides.) The ones that most are familiar with are the white ones (when they have died.) It is fascinating to see the live colonies of them, there are hundreds of them sticking up sideways on the beach, you have to be careful where you walk! Our beaches have shells just not near the quantities that your pictures show.

Betty- Glad to hear that you are feeling spry! I love the picture of Riley, looks like your sofa was made for a tabby!

Well of to help a friend pick up her new tv/stereo cabinet. But first I am picking up a decorative scarecrow that I found on Craigslist (free, yippeee!)

Chat later :0)

Good Day!

Awww Betty. I know it so very frightening after something like that. Takes a very long time to get over it. Was very TRAUMATIC ordeal you went through.
Would be so dissapointing if you don't go. But I, can certainly understand your apprehensions. You just have to follow your intuitions...Keeping my fingers crossed you still go.

Wow, you are so on top of everything. Hahaha, I haven't even started...oh wait take that back, working on ornement s like mad and We got our Christmas tree. Plus the sleighs so guess I am not doing to bad. Your Fireplace looks lovingly festive.

Carol, so sweet of you to ask, No we usually don't travel during Christmas holiday. This year is the exception as, we missed our summer vacation because I was called back to work 12 mo. Then we missed making any kind of reservation for summer so decided to go someplace warm for Winter break. By time we booked St. Augustines, it was the only time we could get so decided to Celebrate New Years in Florida. We have a couple of friends there and will visit some on the way back. Then came to find out Betty IS going to be there at same time so planning to meet up with her for a day. We are all excited about that.

Dawn, I know what you mean...I do bring my own sheets and pillows everywhere. We travel alot so I am well prepared to cover up yuck stuff.

Wonder, It is so nice to walk on a beach and find a goldmine of shells like that...Hope to get lucky in Florida. Yep shells are way cool. I had a glass lamp filled with those we collected over the years. A big stome came and ripped my screen house down and it took my lamp with it! So now have them in a ugly plastic bucket...till i find another lamp.

Well I have got to get to work here.

Hope you all are enjoying your day.

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

howdie,

Hey hellnz, rylie is a boy! its hard to keep up with everyone isnt it?!
Yes the shells there are gorgeous. The formation of the rocks and the way the waters come in, just lends itself to catching all the lovely shells.

wow i have never heard of a lamp that can hold things like that! sounds cool.
Betty you are soooo orgainsied. goodness me! in fact your all so busy doing stuff it makes my head spin! lol

Had to laugh yesterday at work. for the last two weeks the manager has been sickly sweet to everyone including me. we couldnt figure out why. then yesterday she sent an email that as part of her management training and such, she had to send a questionaire to everyone asking about her abilities as a manager. hahahaha its anonomous and goes straight to head office! boy did i enjoy filling that out. i was honest and didnt allow any bitterness to get into the mix but it sure felt good. no doubt she will return to her old self afterwards until the next one. everyone was 'chomping at the bit' to answer the questionaire. some were to scared to be honest but thats their choice.lol .

friday i have another of those meetings. not looking forward to it at all. totally over it in fact. at least i will know what to expect wont i?

well you all have a good night

hugs from tomorrow land

Night all...

My worse...just got home...3 1/2 hrs. it took in snow, sleet and ice..exhausted, can hardly move..those 18 wheelers were just a driving, the offspray was so strong it made the car hard to handle and even with windshield wipers on you couldn't see the road for a few secs..NOT NICE!!!

Carol if you watch breakfast television 'A' news tomorrow morning you will hear that HWY 11 was closed both ways, Hwy 50, Horseshoe Valley Rd. etc. etc. nothing like driving in this kind of weather..

Wouldn't you know I left the office and didn't think to bring tel.#'s of appts. nor did I transfer the telephones..JUST incase..called Jeff and he was about 5 miles from the office so he drove over and changed things over and gave me telephone numbers should things get worse in the morning...just took a steaming hot bath, will put heating pad to shoulders and hope a good night sleep will do wonders...

Best...had a relaxing day at work and of course Jeff running an errand for me...

What did I learn..Kathy who cleans house for my son and DIL just called..apparently a few doors down from me a couple heard a noise..she went downstairs only to find a robber in the house..she wasn't sure exactly what happened after that but said they made away with about $3,500.00 of goodies...so, me who leaves her doors unlocked and everyone knows they are more than welcome to drop in should be more cautious over the next few weeks I guess, or at least until the capture them..have a friend who is an O.P.P. - will call him to see if he has more details...

So dear friends, looks like you are all recouping after a busy Thanksgiving..hope you rested today..I'm off to bed...talk in the a.m.

Hi All,

Betty, I made the box....all of it! NOT! I bought it just like you see. That was the only one like that and I picked it for you because of the sparkles! I'm glad you like it and the "item".

Liz, I'll tell you how kids get all these expensive clothes and shoes...by having over-indulgent, guilt-ridden parents, that how! So many kids now a days just ask for something and their parents just go out and buy it! We have a 13 yr old girl across the street from us who at 12 was given a laptop (although the schools provide one), a cell phone, a phone in her room, a TV in her room and her room has now been "re-modeled" twice in 2 yrs. The son is 11 and has been given a dirt bike & all the gear, one of those battery powered motorcyles, a cell phone, TV and I'm sure more that I wasn't whined to about.

MY DH and I refuse to buy into this lifestyle! In fact, if my kids come to me whining about something, they are less likely to get it at all! It's very difficult keeping up with the "Jones"!! Both kids have aasked for some big things for Xmas and we pretty much set the expectation that if there is something big you want and we decide to get it, don't expect a ton of presents under the tree. Some things we just tell them "dream on". DS has a PS2 and of course wants an XBox 360. The neighbor boy next door has every kind of game system so now he wants them. Well we told him, no way. The PS2 is fine plus he has a PSP he got for Xmas last year. We did get him Guitar Hero III for the PS2 so he will be very excited about that. DD wanted her boots, a NorthFace jacket, a digital camera and the DVDs of The Office. Well, I found an inexpensive Kodak camera and the DVDs. We need to get her a little more - It's amazing how at this age they count the number of gifts - not the amount spent!! Anyway, it's always fun come wrapping time!!

Well, off to bed. I'll chat tomorrow. BTW, I cannot get on the internet at work right now. Long story but basically, all of my systems were terminated last week and I'm trying to get them all back. NOT fun!

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

Betty- Sorry to hear about your rotten weather, glad to hear that you got home safely. I received my "package" today, what a wonderful surprise! I am going to cut out the santas while I watch tv tonight. Going over to visit my folks on friday will cut out the sleigh pieces in Dads woodshop. Let me rephrase that "I will head out to the shop to cut it out and my dear father will say "let me do that for you Rach." I'm 33, he started teaching me about tools, building etc when I was knee high to a grasshopper but he still worries that I'm going to cut my fingers off! Gotta love that he cares so much. Will read through the intructional thread from last weekend before I start working on it sometime this coming weekend.

Jeannine- I am with you 100 percent! Unfortunately these video games completely ruin kids imaginations and sense of adventure. It really is a sad situation.

Laura- Glad to hear that you where "honest!" Serves her right. When you go into that meeting just keep thinking about the beach and the shells :0)

I spent the day helping my friend Marcia p/u her new entertainment center and hookup the equipment that goes in it. Had a great day visiting too!

Sleep well! Rachel

Pacifica, CA

evening all, well just put all the turkey fixing in the crock pot will have soup tomorrow if i dont get up in the middle of the night and eat it all lol

betty, thank you almost done with the geese i hate this new time its dark 15 minutes after i get home so i have to get the indoors done first i guess i will try to finish the out doors over the weekend are you still very sore? and for god's sake PLEASE lock your doors so we dont have to worry about you, did suzanne stay home today?
i dont know how you drive in that kind of weather i would hve white knuckles for sure! so are you happy with your craft fair turn out?

rachel, lol there you go again great find!

jeannine, good for you stick to your guns here's a sad but true story back in 2005 dh daughter graduated from high school and the game plan was to get her a used but decent car, well she woke up dh one evening asking for his s/security number had a friend of the family run his credit report to lease a brand new jetta.

now we had no clue what had gone on so when her mom dh and myself went to the dealer to look at the used cars it was delivered and ready for signatures now dh was startled dd mother didnt know what to say but how could you i was speechless and dh signed the paper in agreement at the buy out this year she better have the 7,000 dollars or it can go back ..
i have been waiting for her 21 bday for ever!!! to wash our hands from this, now not only am i exessivly bitter behind this because we could of used the three hundred dollars every month but we have a kid who has been to mexico twice, canada, disneyland three times, disney world, hawaii , arizona oh it gets better now she says she's going to china in dec or jan gets even better and then in summer wants to go to italy to stay for the summer i cant tell you how discusted i am, we had to have jobs and show we saved money for what ever we wanted then our parents would kick in im not getting all this i know what made me turn on her the final straw was she didnt call her father for his birthday she said she forgot omg how can you forget?? here is this poor guy going through treatment sick all the time and she treats him like that. well i think i said to much i better go sit in the corner and think about what i just said lol everyone have a great evening liz

Richmond, VA(Zone 7a)

Liz, it definitly sounds like you and DH have a challenge. He should have REFUSED the car! Letting her have it just showed her she can get what she wants. I'm sure that is a sore subject for you!! How is she affording all of the trips? We need to tell parents the same we tell kids about drugs: "JUST SAY NO".

Pacifica, CA

jeannine, oh her mom pays half then we get the sad song routine your daughter has half of the money can you put in half well all that stopped in 2005 lol so now she works but im sure he slips her something now and then he dosnt tell me im sure.
the china trip she says her girlfriend invited her and she has enough miles on her credit card to fly free but what im confused about is what about spending money? and in italy fil has family for her to stay but she dosnt know a word of italian so this should be interesting!

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

Ahhhh, geesh Liz, I'm gone for awhile and I come back to find you wayyyyy down in the dumps! I am sending some pictures though, so maybe they will cheer you up.

Laura, the shells are great....what a neat picture, also Riley, so grown up. will be thinking of you when you go to your meeting.

I am so far behind, I can't catch up with everybody...just know that I read all your posts and smiled and cried with you.

Betty, my dear.....you take care of YOU! We are all stressing over your aching body, and those headaches you had earlier, and all the miles you travel every day. we can't do without you, and when you are sick, we worry so much. these pictures are to cheer you, too.

I had a great week with Ethan. He loves being here, and I cannot imagine another 3 year old who would stay without a tear for 9 days with his Nana. we ended up buying a little tree for him to decorate all by himself because mine was so too big for him. he loves green so everything on it is GREEEEEEEN, Nana, GREEEEEEEN.

Never a tear....one night he got up at 2:30, came to my door and said really softly .....Nana, i need you. thought I was dreaming, so then he came to my bed and said......really loud....NANA, ARE YOU SLEEPING.......geesh.....anyway, never a tear.

OK, 10 foot nightmare of a tree is almost finished.....but am sending photos anyway, cause I promised I would. I didn't have the heart to go digging in the old ornaments, too soon after Bob died to stir up those memories, and I am determined to get through this holiday season without falling apart. So...ashley works in an interior design place, and she brought all new BIG ornaments for the tree....really lovely, and no associated memories. the colors are a deep burgandy/wine, salmon, and gold......to match the shades of rose/brown and red in my house, as well as all the brick.

I used some old greenery that was in the garage for the various displays that i will send you photos of.....I am not quiet through with the tree, the ladder seemed to grow taller everytime I tried to climb it.

Anyway, here are some photos, enjoy......

first....the tree from the den......

And a few deer. This wall has mirror tiles from the 70's when the house was built. Thought about taking them off the wall, but kept delaying, and now I like them, especially at Christmas time.....reflects all the lights.

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

OK, that's it for tonight. I have other photos of more corners and furniture tops, but I will save them for another night. I am sure you won't believe this, but there is no greenery around here. I have 2 baby cedar trees that I started from seedlings about 3 years ago. they are just a bit over 5 feet, and wouldn't provide enough green for all my decorating. Liz would probably understand the no evergreen thing...as would Dawn. So I save all mine and just rearrange and use it all over again.

I will send more another time.
Nite, now.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Morning all, we've had freezing rain through the night..nothing at this moment..calling for extremely high winds and some snow today..guess I'm going to work..

Going to go through medicin cabinet looking for drugs lol .. I sound like an old broken down record, my shoulder muscles are giving me so much pain as well as a few other parts of my body..could say I feel like I've been hit by a truck - but, I have so that wording is out of the question..

Today will be an odd type of day...DH Roger and I would have been married 42 years..even though years have passed since his death .. these special days still bring back tons of emotion and if that isn't bad enough DH Bill is turning 67 today..doing good though, even said a prayer for him in hopes he has a wonderful day...

Better go out and start the car .. get that ice off of it and get dressed..not looking forward to any of today...sorry for doom/gloom/aches/pains..this too shall pass...

Will respond to all your lovely posts when I get to the office...thank each and everyone of you for your concern...

Pacifica, CA

morning all,

shar, thank you just had to get a few things off my chest im good to go now lol
the tree is just lovely and all the decorations, i dont use but a hanful of greenery myself i like how the mirror has the reflection on the opposite wall, and the angel is so pretty you did a great job on decorating thank you for sharing glad you and ethan had fun when will he be back?

betty, geez on the same day im sending you a prayer for well being have you tryed a heated patch would that give you some relief to?i use those salonpas patches they have a mild smell not as strong as the icy hot ones work pretty good, gosh driving conditions yuck but are you driving in by yourself where is suzanne? i missed that.
be safe betty, cant have anything happen to you we all just love ya your just the best!

best: no cooking
worst: dh was assembling the geese planter cause he got mad at me being in the garage using the saw(to bad) so he made the BIGGEST MESS but a little wood putty and a diferent wood block and no one will ever know lol besides the greenery will hide the comotion.
learned: inventory this friday at 6.00 am yuck!!!!

everyone have a safe day liz

Richmond, VA(Zone 7a)

Woo Hoo! I am back up on the internet at work!

Newcastle, ON(Zone 5a)

Shar..gorgeous tree..very elegant decorations.
Your little angel is lovely.

Betty....I don't know how you do this horrid drive in the winter. Any more word on the new building in Barrie?
I understand your feelings about not wanting to set off to Florida driving alone..you can run into some nasty storms.
Have you considered flying?..I know it would be more expensive..and you would have to rent a car...but maybe it would be safer.

Liz..sometimes just talking about something that sets you off makes it better..we are hear to listen.

I am cozy here..nursing my cold..it is a doozy! Haven't had one like this in a couple of years. Just have to let it run its course.

Rachie..nice you had a good visit with your friend and got a job accomplished together. Hope you show us your Santa sleigh when done.

Jeannine..I'm sure your son will love the Guitar Hero. I saw a fella playing that at an electronics store recently.

Judy..I remember St. Augustine's from a trip years ago..it was very pretty.

Laura..it will be interesting to see if your bosses "true colours" are revealed to the top management.

Hvae a good day all.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Carol, sorry you are not up to par...did you get a flu shot? I no longer get them as the only winters I've been ill is when I've had them so, take my chances now..sun is shinning today today here in the city but they are calling for bad weather later today...my problem is that I could travel by car and not need passport as there is a long delay..not sure if I went by car over to Buffalo would I need the passport..so, will have to check that out...

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

A short continuation of Christmas decoration photos....you all are gonna get tired of this, and it's nothing special, just a change from years past....this is the first year I have not used any homemade decorations, just could not bring myself to let those memories loose, since it is the first big holiday season after losing Bob...
anyway, here you go....

Thumbnail by Sharran
Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

The bunny will have a ribbon on shortly...forgot it wasn't in the pic.

another bookcase in the library. I have a major elephant collection that was my mother's......I use the effalants (Ethan's word) everywhere...even if they werent in Jerusalem.

Thumbnail by Sharran
Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

And more angels on top of piano...Ethan liked these, so they stay up all year, minus the green.

Thumbnail by Sharran
Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

And the last one for now....top of china cabinet that belonged to grandmother.....

Maybe more later. also I will post a photo of the sleigh when I get it done.

You all have a good day.

Shar..I'm enjoying all your photos..I have a few elephants things too.

Betty..yes I got the flu shot last Tuesday..and I wonder if it had anything to do with this cold I have now.
My friend just called and said she stopped getting the flu shot because she always got sick about a week after taking it...hmmmmmmm????
I have had the flu shot twice before and not gotten sick though..so I don't really know if it is just co-incidence.

I hope your drive home is better today.

Take good care,
Carol

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

Shar-Gorgeous decorations, I love the deep colors! The effalants look wonderful too.

Betty- You need some of the Therma Care heat packs http://thermacare.com/index.jsp
I love them, after a hard day working in the garden they are great.

Liz- Glad that we can be here for you.

Have a wonderful day all, I am going to decorate today. Will post pics this pm

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

Carol,
Hope you feel better soon!

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

Carol, same thing happened to me with flu shots, has something to do with your immune system at the time the shot was taken. So not everybody reacts the same way to it. I don't get them anymore since I am not teaching......good thing I am not teaching, because my immune system is nutz these days. I would be down with whatever bug that came along.

thanks Rach, I like the deep rich colors too....but I usually have more homemade things out and about. Not so this year, but still, I like the colors. I am anxious to see everybody's pictures. Betty's looked much like what I usually use, traditional things that have been around for years.

OK, betty, I am really worried about you.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Shar, do so enjoy viewing your photo's..can't understand it when in talking to some they say they might put a plant out but that's about it...I always enjoy surrounding myself with beautiful decorations...I've already about 10 pine/cedar arrangements throughout the house..waiting for another couple of weeks before I insert the flowers..I include miniature battery operated lights in them as well...can't wait in the evenings to turn all the lights off and enjoy the glass blocks, mini lights, candles etc. - gives you such a feeling of warmth...Just love the look of your tree...and of course it's special because Ethan helped you decorate it..am sure his visits help you through the difficult times...how are you doing??? gaining any weight..eating ok and keeping it down..you are not lifting these Christmas boxes full of treasures are you? hope not, or you'll be down for Christmas....

When I called Rita last night to see if Jerry (police officer) was on duty yesterday to find out more details about the break and entry she was crying on the telephone..asked her what had happened..her satelite due to weather had frozen and up on the roof she had gone, well she had just fallen..silly girl..asked if I could go over, pick her up and take her to the hospital but she said no..Jerry would be home shortly and she'd be ok...have been checking msn but she's not been on..sure hope she's ok..will be my first call when I get home tonight if not before...

Don't worry about me you guys, guess I thought that as I wasn't DEAD I was ok, not taking into account we got hit and am bruised...I suffer from time to time with shoulder problems from a previous 20 yr. old accident..casing on the nerves is damaged..cannot even wear a heavy coat..if I do, I'm in bed for a few days..no shoulder purse as well, so guess it's just irritated the old injury...tomorrows another day though, am sure I'll be fine...I'm smilling..have 2 piles of wood that got delivered yesterday that needs to be cut into Victorian Santa's for next Fridays' class...I've 10 days to do it..so will take my time...then all my workshops are over..few more gifts, nothing major and I'm ready...

Carol, perhaps it was the flu shot reacting somewhat on you...everyone is so different with regards to getting the shot..because I said the other day since I don't get the shots I never get the flu, watch me get it..lol..

Jeannine, I so did love my Christmas box, actually I would have been more than pleased to have the box as my treasure..lol..but did love your gifts...they have a special location on my tree...I bought an ornament as we always as a family put one on the tree each Christmas in Roger's memory but I don't think it's nice enough so will have to do more shopping..not many places can you find ornaments "in memory of" but they do exist, so will have to go in search of one...

Jeannine, hate to say it but my grandchildren are same as your neighbors...motorbikes,lap tops, xbox 360', new telephone system that they each have one that links directly with parents (which I can see is quite an asset... I just bought the Guitar Hero 3 for them as well as the dvd players so they can each watch their own movies while travelling...I'm worse than the parents...now on the other hand, their maternal grandparents do something totally different and always have, they donate on behalf of each child $200.00 at Christmas to Christian ministries to help feed the children and put them through school..they've always done it and the children accept this as something special in their lives...Betty (Mel's mom) says with all they get, they don't miss it...and really, they don't...I think it's wonderful but for me, it's giving them what's on their Christmas list...guess more people should be like Betty..imagine..2 grandma's both named Betty...must be confusing at times for them, not so much now, but when they were younger...

Jeff is purchasing soundless guitars for his boys as part of their gifts..he plays instruments so the boys have shown an interest...what I have noticed though, although the 4 grandchildren are spoilt beyond reason they do not take it for granted...they are very appreciative...

On my way to lunch..will gab when I get back...

Victoria Harbour, ON

Back from lunch..wasn't that quick..Liz, had a Step-Daughter and OMG did she take advantage of her dad and pull the wool over his eyes..he worked long/long hours as well, just to support her and her 2 children ..sad story, but he believed everyword his little girl said..guess that's why she's living next door to him and I'm no longer with him...but that's ok..life is so much quieter and less stressful...lol...

Rachel, how much fun is that..working with a friend and getting the cupboard all put together...did you read instructions? did you have any parts left over??? lol good for you both...such an accomplishment...

Laura...you must be snoozing about now...happy dreams..how have you been feeling? Are you ready for Christmas..must be hard to get excited seeing it's your summer..at least here, when it's snowing you get the feeling of Christmas in the air..of course, feel like I'm in the North Pole...

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

good morning everyone.
shar the pics are great! thankyou for sharing them.

Betty sorry to hear your under the weather. feel better soon,

well they called off the meeting so i am not sure what happening. i am so over it that i am not going to give it any more thought until i have to.

summer is definatly here and i am still nursing a nasty sunburn so sleep is not much of an option. never had a white christmas, must be lovely. ours of course are always in summer. will get the tree soon. all the presents are wrapped and waiting. we will go to the tree farm and choose one and bring it home to decorate. that should be fun.

dishwasher broke down yesterday and is too expensive to fix. thats a nuisance, i really miss it.

you parcel never arrived betty sorry, its either got lost or withheld maybe. i havnt had any notification either so not sure whats happened. i m so sorry and so disappointing. but htankyou for th kind thought anyway.

well hope you all have a good day. time for me to get ready for work.

hugs from tomorrow land

Victoria Harbour, ON

Not going to give up Laura, the other packages arrived so it probably will in time...

OMG you should see outside...the winds just came up, trees are bending in half..can't see a thing..looking outside you can't see the cars on the road..Paul is at the bank, thought he'd call and say to leave ASAP but hasn't so far...

guess you are all tired of hearing me go on and on about the weather...so, let's think of our Laura, sitting there with a sunburn..good girl Laura..getting yourself back into a mental state that you won't worry about the work situation..maybe they got enough bad reviews sent their way that they realize what is really happening..people don't talk in person but if it had to be done and e-mailed in, perhaps they spoke up..let's hope that has happened and things will get better for you..we always send warm thoughts and prayers ...

Victoria Harbour, ON

Calling it a day..1/2 hr earlier but that's ok...here's hoping the ride home will be enjoyable...hope you all enjoyed your day...

Victoria Harbour, ON

just got home..stormy this way, not so much from city to Barrie, Suzanne took it easy..she's stubborn, doesn't want to admit it has frightened her but I can tell by her driving that she's much slower and can feel her nervousness...

I'm off to take a bath, then it's t.v. bingo and then dancing with the stars..you all must be busy..just me gabbing today..lol...will come back to do my post IF I don't fall asleep!!!

Thought I'd show you this weekend's project...25 Victorian Santa's to be cut...

I was just wondering how your drive was....glad you are home and cozy now..
Enjoy Dancing with the Stars..who do you think will win?
That "dance" that Marie did last night was a big ploy to promote her doll line....IMHO

Cheers,
Carol

Victoria Harbour, ON

Drive home wasn't too bad, Suzanne took it slowly, but major routes on the way home were closed due to weather conditions and accidents..they said 3 had died in different accidents..lordy, also that drunken driver last night who gased his vehicle near Orillia and went northbound instead of southbound and hit tractor trailor..lucky trucker lady and he are still alive..he had more than double the legal amt....should put him away for long time...

Killing time, trying to stay awake for 8pm bingo and then the stars..surely she won't win will she Carol??? I want the racecar driver to win..have my fingers crossed...hope we're not disappointed at the end of the show..lol..

Are you feeling any better tonight..hope so...

Calvert City, KY(Zone 7a)

Betty, was waiting for you to get home. Kinda like waiting up for my kids when they were teenagers...HA! Glad you made it safely, and glad you are home and out of that weather.

starzz....feel better...will be worrying about you too.

Richmond, VA(Zone 7a)

Hi everyone - getting ready to watch a Charlie Brown Christmas. It's a tradition here with us. When the music comes on and the characters are dancing, we get up and dance too - real goofy like. The kids think DH and I are totally crazy and they're probably right. After that I hopefully get to see Marie Osmond be let go. I swear, if she wins this thing... Her "dance" last night was horrible as was Mel B's freestyle. I thought Marie's "doll" dance would have been better had she "come alive" and actually danced. Helio & Julianne got my 5 votes!!!!

Off to veg.......

GG....so are Ashley and I, watching Charlie Brown, I mean. It's something we did for many years when she and my son were small....and yep, we dance around too. How fun!! On Aunday we watched Home Alone and the Christmas Holiday Chevy Chase movies...just as if we were back in the 80's. Fun times.
