Sunny calm,45 degrees. Nice November day.
Today's Weather in Your Garden 5
Have been a bit busy this AM.
But I wrote down the statistics from earlier this morning ...
it was 33* at 6:30 AM and the clouds were tinged with a soft pink
The high for today should be around 54* (it's up to 42* now)
the humidity is still high, and we had frost on the windshields
Sunrise was at 6:28 and it will set at 4:36 this evening. That's just ten hours!!!!
Yeah - it's a perfect November day
Beautiful out there now! About 53 and sunny.
Lucky us, huh, Victor. It's actually 51* where I am!! I'm amazed - and enjoying it!!
Incredible - will be more seasonal later in the week here. We can't complain though - it is November.
Happy Belated Birthday to your Dad, Victor!
It's a gorgeous afternoon, 55 degrees in the shade with a light breeze. Anyone have a nice hot buttered rum to sip on the front porch this evening?
Thank you Sue!
Nice warm afternoon. Lots of plants moved and settled in for the winter.
UP PERISCOPE!
Ok, the coast looks clear, here's the info...
Temp 47.6°, rh 63%, Baro 29.79↑, wind 0.0 (last from the south), Dp 35.4°F
Sunny today, with a thin haze and high Cirrus clouds.
- Cant wait till the weather gets real dramatic, with howling winds, snow and uprooted Petunias & Dahlias and stuff! Exciting!!
- Got to go, my submarine is double parked...
DOWN PERISCOPE! ☺
Al, you Photoshop demon!
Not great, but fast.
Caught!!!! Al, how smart you were to come down and break into our house to install the webcam! Darn......I thought I could pull that balmy weather thing off. You're just too quick for me!!
He's the one who broke in!
I'm sure of it now! I just called the detective and gave him the clue of "Big City"....he'll be knocking on your door soon, Al!!
Oh, you had to post that pic, huh, Al??? Don't you know how much I dread seeing one of those long things at my feet when I open my patio door?!! eeeewwww....sorry - I KNOW they are good to have, but please not here this year!!!
And I'm sure any detective worth his salt will immediately think Menasha when big city is mentioned.
Mr Big City to you. As long as he doesn't follow me around during the day and try to figure out what I do.
snakes too - I though it was just bugs
No....bugs aren't my problem; it's the other long things......I try not to invoke their names so they will stay away. That Big Black Racer thoroughly terrorized me last spring. I had a few bad experiences with them as a kid here, and just can't forget!
Along with your nice weather goes the mandatory Miami Dolphin games right?
FL has all the poisonous snakes found in the U.S. Lucky you! We have two around here - Rattlers and Copperheads.
Yup, Victor - I've seen them all! Ugh! But Al is right......I'm not sure what is worse - the wigglas or having to watch the Dolphins! But I have the answer to that.....I go outside and garden!! LOL
You're talking to a Jets fan!!
Enjoying the season so far, Victor?
Gardening season - yes!
Snicker!!
Reeses!
Yummm - but I ate too many mini ones at Halloween. I was so glad to see all those kids show up to bail me out!!
I'm a little slow - had no idea what Reeses meant.
Victor always brings in the good stuff! LOL
I LOVE Reeses!
As I said.....Yummmmm! Trying to be good here!
I REALLY should try and stay up at night!! I miss all the chocolate! Waaaaaa!!!
But if I did stay up and talk with my friends, I'd never get off the computer. And, I certainly would never be up early enough in the morning!!!
Oh yes!
Back to the thread.
It's much warmer this morning at a balmy 45* with a nice steady rain. I can only imagine what I'd be seeing out the window when the sun comes up today if the temperature had stayed as low as it has all week long!!
There's a brisk breeze from the SSE at about 10 - 14 MPH.
The weatherman says we'll have rain for most of today, so it's a great day for ducks.
Sunrise will be at 6:29 and sunset will be at 4:35.
Yuck!! Ditto of Candyce's post!! Eleanor
p.s. That saved a lot of typing!
I'm happy to be of service, Eleanor.
