Wow....such pretty pics by everyone! I had to wait all day to get the internet because of the rain....but how can I complain when we needed it so badly? No time right now to mention individual shots, but I loved them all!
Teresa - a big happy welcome to this thread.......keep coming!!

What's Blooming? #14
Pirl - no real greenhouse in the future. I can't help but tease my wife for beating kids at their game. I think we have like 10 of those WebKinz now.
Razzmatazz is an echinacea yes, cannot vouch for the seeds being viable or true.
No Al - Kim was asking about Razzle Dazzle.
Nice photos everyone!
Eleanor, Yes I have a camera. I post pictures, just less frequently.
Don't feel bad Dave - it's not all your fault.
Razzle Dazzle - line from Stripes, Bill Murray - yes. Otherwise dunno anythang about it.
Like I said - I only know of the Crapes.
We all need to chip in to send weeds to onewish - she's so deprived!
Great photos, everyone. (I'm not an MG lover, Pixie, but as long as you love it I can enjoy the photo. Yesterday I ripped some self-seeded Grandpa Ott from a decorative gate but it probably dropped seeds before I got to it. We have to wonder how Victor would react to orange MG's!)
OMG!!
Gee whiz! You don't even react to CZJ like that!
Orange MGs with bees.
Orange Morning Glory (OMG!)
I'm not allowed to describe how I react to CZJ.
Thank you Victor & Al. I am just going to sow them and see what happens :)
One thing I have learned the hard way this year is to MARK my seeds :)
Most of us have gone through similar experiences, Kim. The good old, "I'll remember" mistake.
With the approach of seed starting time, my head is just spinning. I have baggies marked "winter sow Jan", "winter sow March", "Direct Sow March", "Start Inside" etc. Every site on the web seems to give all kinds of different advice as to what should be started when and even how *lol* I went to HD, Lowe's and Wal-Mart looking for plant markers and was told by every store "we only sell those in Spring" so it cost me almost $7.00 on E-Bay for 100 markers. Some of the seeds I have I have broken down into 4 baggies and have some of the same seed in all 4 "sowing bags". I'm overwhelmed and haven't even started yet *lol*. I have 5 "greenhouses" in my bedroom all ready to plant in and 30 pots of soil outside all ready. I'm hoping to have some things people want next year :)
Here is a shot of "my" side of the bed *lol*
Kim - you're looking very organized there! Your hanging plants also look healthy and dark green! I've got seed bags hanging all over my little office, and lots of paper cups with seeds on my desk. I had a nice saucer of Azoychka tomato seeds curing, but we had a mouse come in for a visit and he helped himself to my seeds! So mad!! Now I have my seeds in a mesh box full of little cups. But my DH taught that mouse a lesson! Yeah, I know....I'm too much of a chicken to take care of it myself.
Aspen - very pretty combo of purple and yellow!
OHHH Aspen, that is such a pretty sedum! I just cut "October Daphne" back because she just wanted to sprawl all over the garden. I like the tall ones and have never seen white. Very pretty!
Ditto Kim.....I love that Stardust Sedum!
Ditto, ditto...very nice sedum!!
Ditto cubed.
Wow! Ditto cubed reviews for Stardust sedum! :-) It's about 12" tall now, but it's just a baby. Since Plantfiles lists it at 18-24" I will probably cut it back once next year, when it gets to about 18" or so. That's what I did with Autumn Joy this year, and it has worked very well to control shape and height and prevent sprawling. Cutting back does not seem to have affected bloom time at all. Maybe try that next year with 'October Daphne', Kim.
edited to say: I didn't realize Daphne was a ground cover type sedum- guess it's supposed to sprawl, lol !

Love the sedum and red zinnia aspen. I have a red zinnia called Scarlet Flame that I really enjoyed this year.
I like the sprawling nature of 'October Daphne'. It's one of my favorite Sedums.
Victor, she just got to be too bossy. so I cut it back to the ground and threw her in the compost heap *lol*
