60 here at 5:45 and holding steady but still too dark to work outside. What glorious weather we've had.

54 and perfectly clear again at 8:00. Amazing run we're on. Supposed to get into the 80's though - too hot for me.

The warm temps I can stand, but not the humidity. It's supposed to be near 80 today ~ already at 56 degrees with bright sunshine and crisp blue sky. Tomoorow they say the humidity will return - ugh! I wilt.

Sure wish we could save yesterday's weather for the RU!!

It is a warm but comfortable 80 degrees at almost 3:00 pm here on the hill in NH. Such a nice breeze is blowing, and it isn't humid just yet. Candyce's humidity for tomorrow will pay us a visit too most likely.

More like July than Sept here. Not as hot as advertised only 85 with a nice constant breeze. Sunny and blue skies, not much in the way of clouds at all.

Too hot today for the last week in September, would be a gorgeous day if it was June.

Nice breeze all day long. Got done with about 150 - 200 coleus cuttings. Now to shine the brass containers they'll live in over the winter. They are potted up by cultivar, not one to a pot: I'm blonde but not crazy!

Wow! That many?!! Going into business? How long do you let the roots get before potting?

Nice thing about this time of year is that even when it gets very hot during the day, it cools off pretty quickly. The clear skies just radiate away the heat. We hit 88 but the forecast low is 58 - 60. Very comfortable right now at 77.

It was 81 today, low for tonight given on the news was 63 and predicting 86 for tomorrow.

I pot them up, mostly unrooted, Victor. It's too much work to change the water for the rootings on a daily basis and if I don't I can smell the stench of the water.

Potting medium?

Miracle Gro or Fafard, whichever one I'm closest to.

I should have mentioned this: I tried washing the pots in the brand new Bosch dishwasher and messed up the rails, had to remove them and clean them from the tiny bits of soil. I wouldn't do that again.

I should have thought of cleaning the pots while we had the old dishwasher!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, all.

It began to get humid around 8 last evening. Woke up this morning, and it's still there. It has risen a couple of degrees since 5:30 AM. Right now it's showing 58 degrees on my little weather monitor.

Weatherman expects that temperature records for this date will most likely be broken today.

It's 68 already! High for the day is supposed to be 82 but the humidity is supposed to be high so it's time for me to get moving!

64 and muggy. Supposed to be upper 80's and humid. Yuck!

Never got very cool overnight. Starting out around 60, nice little breeze again. More humid than yesterday already but not too bad. Forecast is going into 90s. Still hoping for some rain tomorrow and Friday.

Pretty major T-storms last night. still 72 this a.m. though. was nice not to have to water. we were in the pool yesterday, but it's supposed to rain for the next couple of days and then I expect it will be cooler. high today is expected to be 78.

73 with 71% humidity here at 6:03. Beautiful now but it was hot today. Kept saying I was done and would come in and not stay out in the heat. Only got back inside at 4 PM - almost a full 8 hours.

Our high was only 83 but we could have used more of a breeze today. The house stays cleaner the longer we're outside.

After hours of being promised rain, the promise fell though. There are rumbles of thunder off to my South ~ do you hear them, Louise?

Even though rain is predicted, I'm not holding my breath. It's a warm and muggy morning here. It's 61 degrees, cloudy, and very uncomfortable.

70 degrees but 82% humidity with a high of 78 predicted and the chance of afternoon showers has been cut from 30% to 20%. Time for me to get outside and get to work.

Don't forget your vitamins!!

Right! So many goodies and so little time. I need to get my priorities in order! First the chocolate, then some coffee, more chocolate and nuts, more coffee ........ and then the vitamins.

Thanks for the reminder - they're sitting on the desk right now (the vitamins, that is).

I take mine with lunch. That's usually about the time I remember them. Or I ask myself, 'did I take my vitamins today'? I need more ginko
