Really pleasant until today...a bit cooler. It's 63 and cloudy with rain in the forcast and we need it.
Anyone else grow canna's? Mine are really late this year.
What's Blooming? # 12
Pixie you have a unique ability to capture light. Your pictures are amazing. I really enjoy them. Thanks for sharing. :)
Thanks Daiseycat, just point and shoot thats all!
Thanks for the consideration, Celeste! Orange followed by MG's - tell me when I can look again.
I was trying to be easy on your poor eyes Victor.....you can look again.
Thanks!
My godness Pixie, what an amzing array of flowers, how about a picture of your whole garden must be magnificent
What more can you say...gorgeous stuff pixie!
Maria, I have 13 flower beds, if all of these were blooming in the same bed it would be great, but they are scattered in different areas so it's not as pretty as it seems! LOL
This one was built in May by DS & DH for Mother's Day. The only thing that's blooming in it is the Love plant, blanket flower, some annuals and a reblooming daylily here and there. I still have a bit of work to do on it but it's the newest one.
Probably a bit shady under that tree. Is it a Maple? Don't forget flowering shrubs, Celeste!
'...you're breaking my heart.'
Great roses, ng.
Thanks Victor, at least they have some leaves again. They have been naked from black spot removal. Not the greatest rose year, hoping for a nice fall show, so far it is looking up. :)
That's a beauty , I can't get them to come back here, tried twice. They are amazing flowers.
Posted same time as you Victor. Above refers to hibiscus. That hydrangea is another beauty, been eyeing that one too. :)

Thanks ladies. ng, I did not have a lot of Blackspot this year since we did not get much rain. I assume you were referring to the Anemone not being able to come back. I love it - one of my favorite Fall perennials.
Oh my Victor those last two pics oolala! My oakleaf is still all green, but if we don't get some rain soon its gonna be all brown. :(
That lily of the valley tree is well, wow! You have a lot of color there already. Very nice.
Thank you Maria. Nice Spring shot. Foxglove is one I've never tried yet.
Lovely Victor! Is the Potentilla a soft pink or sherbert color? I have one but mine is much darker pinkish-peach, or at least it seems so this year.
The flower bed was built around a big old oak tree that I love. The left side gets semi-shade so I tend to put my darker colored daylilies/flowers there and have been trying to think what else to put for perennials.
The tree has always been a landmark to me, forground for the lightening shows, and the sunrise in the morning, strong, sturdy, and it's home.
