Fresh Pot of Coffee!

Wheatfield, NY(Zone 6a)

things like that are why people still want to have kids :0) gets you by the days when you could gladly move and leave no forwarding address while they're at school LOL

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

I leave town and the coffee gets cold!

I needed Dave(pointy elbows) to clear these people out of my shot here.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

I won't tell the other guys Dave is laughing like a girl. About an acre rose bed there.

I've been busy too. Redecorating and holidays are definitely time consuming when you coinside them! Great pic Al, where is that?

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

That's at the Biltmore Estate. You don't have to redecorate for me really.

This was one I liked at a falls in Kentucky.

Nice vacation pictures, Al! You take any blurry ones? Because these are 'sharp'. Nice job! I love the KY waterfall.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Wheatfield, NY(Zone 6a)

very nice, Al. welcome back. we've been keeping Dave out of trouble (or in trouble?) over in roses, as Kassia said. he may never come back LOL

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

Very nice - where else did you go on your vacation and how long was it?

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

Al, you need to go there... bring some power tools... you will have fun... lol...

great pictures...

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Anita - we were gone Wed afternoon thru Sunday night. We had old Wisconsin friends in Knoxville that we were visiting. Friday we went to the Biltmore, certainly the most amazing building I have been in, the drive from Knoxville to Asheville(N.C.) is quite impressive. I went golfing and the kids went horseback riding on Saturday.

Nancy - I had a few so so pics. What do you think of this one? One of those you can't tell right away.

What can't you tell that pic right away? (Dave, laughing like girl)

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Woof woof! Is it bark bark? I thought you'd gone rock climbing at first! Looks can be deceiving. Is it bark?

I won't tell.

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

it feels like a rock is about to fall in your head....how tall is that thing???

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

No - it's a cliff ~ 50' or so.
Dave - I mean in the camera you can tell if it's in focus, but not the effect.

That one turned out fair, kids are easier.

Kassia HAS been busy - she's got Merry Gro swamped with orders, one of them is mine!

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

Don't look now Al, but you seem to have picked up another kid along the way...

I have a friend that lives in the Knoxville area and my sister didn't live far from the Biltmore when she went to school. The Smokies are amazing. Did you go to Gatlinburg? This time of the year they have it decorated for Christmas already and it is so beautiful.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

At one time I didn't have any kids - I never figured it out - thanks.

We didn't have time to go to Gatlinburg, we spent a lot of time driving through Indiana it seems instead ;(

I don't know what this flower was

mandavilla?

Wheatfield, NY(Zone 6a)

Al, we had friends that narrowed it down to either swallowing watermelon seeds or drinking out of public drinking fountains.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

It's got to be the watermelon seeds, I refuse to drink out of public fountains and I still ended up w/5.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Dave - I'm not sure. There were mandevilla, but I didn't see any flowering.

I knew I liked those seedless watermelons for a reason.

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

My Mandevilla still has a bloom on it. The leaves in the backround resemble the plant.

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

75% of my kids had nothing to do with watermelon seeds. We got them the old fashioned way...through protective services!

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

ROFLOL

Wheatfield, NY(Zone 6a)

100% of my kids were entirely my DMIL's fault. we were staying at her house on our honeymoon and trying not to make noise

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

I didn't know quiet brought babies!!!

Wheatfield, NY(Zone 6a)

someday, when you're old enough, I'll explain it to you

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

Seems like you've got alot of explaining to do grams!
