Ok...I decided I'd better find out what I need to start digging up.

Mitch, you wanted some Obedient plant? This stuff looks really bad when you move it, but it eventually comes back. It should be fine next summer. This is what it looks like...

Conroe, TX(Zone 9a)

Sylvia, my heart has been broken by hostas too many times - they simply melt down here. (I can't figure out how people in Houston grow them, but I've heard that they do.) I would love some ajuga, thanks!

Sheila, I will bring some cat's whiskers for you.

Burleson, TX(Zone 8a)

What color cat's whiskers do you have? I have a small white one that I grew from a cutting. Do yours come back? do you collect seeds??

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Wow! things are really heating up as the weather cools down, won't that be wonderful?

Sheila,I have Phlox and Turk's Cap that you can have.

Paige, that Obedient plant looks beautiful, if you have extra I would like some, also some of the Tecome Stans seed. Tell me what you want.

I will update the Attendance thread on Thursday.

Josephine.

Conroe, TX(Zone 9a)

kkb, my cat's whiskers are white. This is my first experience with them, just got it at the first part of Aug, so I'm not sure if it'll come back for me. I trimmed it back when I first planted it, took cuttings at that time. It hasn't bloomed since, until a day before Rita. Now it's covered!

Burleson, TX(Zone 8a)

The place where I "got" my cutting also had a purple one. I forgot which mine would be until it bloomed. It was a little cutting that I kept inside all winter, then carefully put it outside in the spring. I've only had 2 blooms but I do love it! Is yours big? pic?

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Thanks Maggiemoo, I would love the cat's whiskers, is there something on my list I can save for you?
I would love to have a start of your Phlox and Turk's Cap Frostweed! Let me know what I can bring for you.

Burleson, TX(Zone 8a)

I just don't have a lot of plants that can divide yet, so I've just got a few things that aren't doing too well right now in tiny pots. They've been there too long and need a home, but not sure they will even bloom this year.

I've got:
2 Candle Trees (these will bloom)
a few Mexican Feather grasses
a few TX Star Hibiscus (not sure)
3 Paprika yarrow (next spring)
red salvia anyone?! (yes)
1 or 2 tiny Esparanza (not sure)
A couple Obedient plants
red or yellow cannas
Purple and green "jew"
I'll keep looking...

Seeds:
sea oats
TX Star hibiscus
Pale purple/pink Gomphrena
Purple Gomphrena
Strawberry Fields Gomphrena
False Queen Anne's Lace
Pink Flamingo Celosia
Orange Cosmos
False Sunflower
Basil (I think Tai Queen...need to look up)
Zexmenia
zinnias

Lindsay, OK(Zone 7a)

What are you looking for for the Candle trees?

Burleson, TX(Zone 8a)

Nothing in particular. Anything that has blooms that butterflies or hummers like is what I like. Do you want one? If we had the swap earlier in the year I could have brought more, but ended up just letting them grow, so I've got 5 in my yard! Mine last year got huge, so I might be in trouble.

Dallas, TX

Did i ask someone for obediant plants(physo)?
Sylvia

Lindsay, OK(Zone 7a)

Ummm butterflies... I would love one! but butterflies... gonna have to think out that one.
What about some Daylily? I have several named colored ones if you are interested...LMK Mitch

Burleson, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes Sylvia, you asked me for some. At least that's what I thought you were talking about, since I don't know it's proper name. lol

Sure Mitch, a Daylily is fine. I had my first ones this year and was quite happy with them.

Mansfield, TX(Zone 8a)

I will not be able to make the swap on Sunday, October 2. Thought maybe it could happen, but not so. Would love to see you guys. Maybe another swap.

Lindsay, OK(Zone 7a)

So what color is your color or is there a named ones on your list to see if I have an extra of it sitting around? (hehehe) I have several so a general direction would be most helpful - Egyptian Ibis being my newest I need to plant. LMK I will dig everything today! Mitch

Dallas, TX

Thank you Konkrete....yours are the same color of mine and I got one lonely bloom out there.:(
Also I asked some one for that Crossvine ...was that you Maggie? :)
Shelia that chinese Forget me nots is that a shade plant?
