Pat - I got the 3 blocks, your center, Linda Kay & Misty's.
I need to figure out a RWB border for yours. I have an appropriate purple for one, and I think I have something for the 3rd one. I'll make sure to send it on Tues to save shipping - 5% off, to the US.

Who did the Dresden plate? I have a good colour for the border I think, and it's done.

Here's Pat's. I put the 2" border on - red with gold stars.
and the (I don't remember the name of the block?). Butterflies on black.

When I do larger borders, I'll get more decorative, but 2 and 3" are easier to do with straight & simple lines, I think

Beautiful, Lordy Susan, been spending a lot of time on your border, limited to black, gold and blue, there is a name for what i saw in your block, just can’t remember the terminology right now, kind of tired, it will be one of a king, kind of crazy but know I tried..

Please please don’t take your measuring tapes out because there are a lot of irregularities but hope once Sharon gets the 2nd border on will be better

I agree, 2 and 3 inch borders are all most impossible to make in anything but plain strips.

You're not limited, Betty. Certain greens will go with this, too. It could be a crazy quilt border as well. Take a deep breath, and take the plunge.
Please don't stress about the sizes, either. We're not mathematicians, after all.
It's called God's Eye, and remember............. HE sees & makes ALL colours, so feel free to add a colour you think I'd like, and not just black, gold & blue! Pink goes with black (although pink isn't my favourite colour, I do like it with black. Burgundy goes well with black, too, and it IS my favourite colour!!)

Sorry I missed your call last night Susan no sooner had I said I would relax that Greg called and said he had the grandchildren so I thought this old great grandma would take a run over and play with them well played more with Grayson but made faces with hope. Was too late to call you back. Up early because I have the childrens sewing class all day then set up for cousins craft in morning and wanted to
be ready so it will give me time to enjoy Sunday morning.

Couldn't sleep so Susan am starting fresh after having done round 1, taken border off and ready to give it another try

Just finished Sharon's block, she liked the corners I did on mine when I was enlarging my block so that it was 16 and a half inches square so I decided to do it on hers

It's tone on tone white with snowflakes and has sparkles

Susan know I am being dense but just to make sure I reread the portion of what Sharon and I are to do and it says that we end up putting borders to and three I know yours will have a third border when it leaves here but mine and Sharon's would only have one is that correct or do Sharon and I have to add each other border on our blocks

My block, that I sent to you - you put a 2" border on, then Sharon puts a 3" border on, and you send it to Linda Kay so she & Misty will each put a border on (4" & 5"), then it goes to Pat to put a 4" on, and she returns it to me, finished.
Mine will only have 2 borders when you send it on to LK - a 2" that you put on, and a 3" that Sharon puts on.

Your block, to begin with, will have a border put on by Sharon (2"), and then you send it to LK for her & Misty to put the 3" & 4" borders on. Then Pat puts a 5" border on, and I put a 4" border on, then your center gets sent to you, finished
