I did my month's shopping yesterday, and today went to church.
Happy to have done 2 small prayer shawls for my old church, and will hand them off to the secretary of that church. She is the secretary there, is on my bowling team, and knows some of the story about why the minister is no longer there. She & I don't talk about it, but she knows the story about Bob & I and that he's no longer with me.
I'm starting another prayer shawl, and doubt that I'll have it for Tues night, but we'l see
Hired a friend's hubby on Friday to help me clear up the shed, put some more Christmas decorations in it, and also take out the old driver's & passenger's seats out of it and put them in the RV along with more stuff of "his". Now to empty his computer desk, and repurpose it as a desk for my volunteering at Wellness (I'm the treasurer and have a laptop for it and lots of paperwork).

You have indeed been busy Susan..was the weather warm enough to be working outside? Did you have a desk ? Sometimes we are better letting go of furniture pieces to give us more space vs repurposing..could be a craft desk though, you are still sewing right?

Still snowing..

(Pat) Kennewick, WA(Zone 5b)

Won't Bob be surprised to get all his stuff back in the RV. He's getting the easy end, he is not packing his own stuff, you are doing ALL the packing.

I did ONE block to test drive a pattern, I was debating about the center block (which fabric to use) and my test block came up small.
I'll have to look it over and remeasure. I either cut something wrong or took too big of seam. It has seriously been a while since I make any blocks other than the embroidery ones.

I hope to get some blocks made today and decide what projects are going with me to Prosser. We were asked to switch the days up a little. The owner's cleaning lady couldn't be there Monday so we switched to Thursday thru Saturday, instead of Tuesday thru Thursday. That works better for Marie. She won't miss her volunteer work at St Vincent de Paul on Wednesday.

Be warm, be safe everybody!

Morning everyone, heat wave here, -7..we had 5-6 inches of snow last night,
Not plowed out yet but not ’s room, her daughter who comes home the odd weekend.
I embroidered her the love, love, love pillow block, must take a run over so she can finish it. Brian her son is dating a woman who has a granddaughter, birthday at end of month, wants a giraff quilt done for her so Sharon bought all fabrics for it..ambitious woman.

Sharon amazes me, yes she does..
She put the Valentine’s Day quilt on the frame last Sunday, 2 trips to Barrie Re expectant mother, delivered puppies, had company for 4 days , quilted a Valentine’s Day quilt, made 2 pillows and during the night got panels of giraffe done…tires me out.

Betty - it's nowhere near warm enough to work outside. Still dead of winter here lol
My desk is about 8ft long with credenzas. His is a corner desk. which is the perfect size for me to do the Wellness stuff (and possibly Silver Willow stuff next month when I'm told I'll be nominated for President of our seniors' centre). Being the treasurer means it's nice to have a separate desk so I don't have to keep putting it away.
Pat - he's not going to find it easy to sort through his stuff. I put everything into boxes the way I found them laying around. His hearing aides (he didn't feel he needed them, so wasn't wearing them) are in with tools & office stuff, etc. I didn't want him to come into my home. He's not welcome here, under any pretex

Bowling was good last night. I'm getting back into my form :)
