Busy busy day, was up at 6:00 and just climbed into bed.

Had rain today but sky is now clear, sure hope what the weatherman says is true, our Canada Day long weekend will be sunshine..flowers say no more rain.

with my grass cut the only thing That needed done outside are the ditches, heard equipment and there my helper doing it so all looking good for Canada day.
On our community hub they were advising fireworks across the street tomorrow night, guess I’ll have to use front deck and enjoy.


Sharon, my neighbour landed me a very light weight hoe, best I’ve used, perhaps you can find the one you want at garden centre.

Understand the heat in B.C. Is unbearable..broke all records, was bad enough here can’t believe what you guys endure.

Deb was at sharon’s Today, her pups are 3 weeks old and starting to get around, how are yours doing, must be a quite a size by now?

I was freezing this afternoon, took hot bath, shut a/c and opened bedroom window but it’s getting muggy so might have to turn it back on.

Lordy the upper side of my feet are paining so bad, using that blanket lifter I bought but even that is not helping..must get up and see what I can mcGiver lol

Carol, I like your ring project. Until I saw it, I had a picture in my mind of like 3-d world, circle intertwined. I should have visualized that better, it's not like I haven't seen the Olympic circles!

Slowly things are coming along. Adam put in more time on the yard fence & bought the stuff to complete a BIG gate. We have help lined up for tomorrow morning.

I am tied up as "chauffer" between taking Sam to track practice from 7 to 8.10, then Kiki to Benton City from 10 to 4 (it's 30 minutes away so have to pick her up and be gone by 9.30. I doubt I will get much of anything productive done THAT day. I hope to prep the closet tonight and shoehorn in the painting after 10.30.

I attempted to get a BIG bookcase thing reassembled but there is "bowing out" so the shelves are coming up a little short. I suggested we permanently attach the middle shelf with a face piece so the piece can't bow out. DIL is not a fan of that idea. I am inclined to leave this project for her to deal with. I can't "do it wrong" if I don't do it at all.

I am doing well. Just busy at the quilt shop. Working on a t shirt quilt, and it is just about to go on the frame to get quilted.
Don't think I will do another t shirt quilt.

Afternoon, can’t believe I said that, feels like supper

Linda Kay do hope you have photo’s..I’m with you, a few ok but they become such a chore, then you see how excited recipient is and it makes all the work worth it. I remember Helene making her daughter one with shirts from all the completions she was in, how she will cherish it, Helene is the one who died earlier this year from Covid at 62.

My foot frame to keep covers off end of bed on my feet stopped working, by 4:00am I had enough, decided to go downstairs and finish Wonder Woman towel, was at Walmart at 7am, bought foot-ware and a towel/hand towel..bought a bunch of fruit, guess I’ll make a fruit salad this afternoon, always nice to have a treat, fresh strawberries, some blueberries etc.

The sun is out now, neighbourhood filled with sounds,people on Corner are building, next door to them they are taking down a bid tree, across the,road, next to him his brother in law is moving in, well not quite, washing house down first I guess Corrie is working on his deck and gazebo, I spent time wiping down furniture, more chairs just incase my offer of chairs to sit in to wash fireworks gets accepted.

Know I will need a nap but not before I finish the adult hooded towel, thinking of embroidering ‘charlie’ on bottom side of the towel as an extra..

Had lunch and starting to wane down. Think I will have to have a nap so I’m not in bed by 5pm and miss festivities.

Omg my cousin Myles sent me a novel he wrote, what was in his head, it’s all law gibberish, donut I’d understand anything but I will read then pass on to someone in the law field.

Best I get a move on so my nap doesn’t start now

It's HOT out, and I'm staying in & relaxing. Filled the watering can from the rain barrel 3x and watered my flowers. Bob set the timer for 30 min & watered the veggie garden early this morning.

Adam's finishing up the gates, I am headed in to paint the closet finally. I need to be done in time to get Kiki from babysitting at 4. (not quite 1 here, leave by 3.30)

Omg Wanneta who sees here and works at foodland had her live in better half Kids move in about 5 years ago, destroyed her home, did nothing at all, was at the point she would go to work, come home and stay in her room, can’t believe it, she sold her house (was hers) and bought a tiny 2 bedroom bungalow, not that she wanted to but said only way they could get rid of them..she will miss her homestead..closing tomorrow, can’t get new place for 3 weeks so they will stay at a hotel, I offered that they come here but she said they want to honeymoon lol

Nice breeze, just came in and looking for Dr.Ho and strong meds..haven’t been kind to it in:last few days, almost tempted to put my shoulder strap on but Lordy it’s uncomfortable in this heat..been up 12 hours and fought being tired just came in then outside to turn mosquito nets on, sharon’s Friend Debbie is up till tomorrow and they might come watch fireworks then I’m calling it FINI for they work wise.

Tomorrow night Don, Sharon’s ex, both still the best of friends is coming up and taking both,of,us,to the Arch Restaurant for supper..patio dining only..will be nice.

Have a chicken breast, fries, salads (didn’t get to make my fruit salad, will have to be tomorrow);so I will not have to cook..I’ll have to get some ham bits out for Ziggy, he has decided the last few days that human food isn’t so bad lol
