Karen, you will be fine. Probably already exposed and didn't get it. My manicurist family was exposed and 5 out of 8 got it. And they all had different symptoms.
Pat, the one and only time I have been to Spokane, Todd, my son, took me to Cordelyne.(sp) It is an absolutely beautiful place. I was planning on making another trip but then Vern got sick and that was the end of our travels. Luke was 2 then and now he is 10. My sister and I were going to Portland by the way of Spokane for our cousin's 90th birthday then Covid hit. Todd and his family will be from Feb. 10th through the 14th.
I am trying to get my vaccine tomorrow. System is all messed up so I am just going to drive to the place they are giving vaccine and try my luck. A friend did that today and she got her shot.
Pat, I have always had a big butt and thunder thighs. We call it the Bartholomew butt. But longevity goes along with that gene, so I will keep the big butt. And Vern loved my big girl figure.
I had a good day today. My two dogs, one cat Peanut, and I spent 2 hours in the front digging out ivy roots from the area of the new flower bed. I have two more days to get it done before the garden helper comes on Thursday and Friday and then we will build the garden bed.
Betty Facebook has nothing to do with DG. Some of my friends from dg were blocked.
I got here late again. My home looks lovely because my housekeeper is such a jewel.
Best/Worse/What did I Learn today? Come sit a spell, a time to chat and come together!
Morning, was up at 5, got my ga reagent to roadside, did my shovelling, included back yard pathway to shed and the front..keep saying I’ll make things easier and not doing those areas but did...really stupid, think of if I need an ambulance front being cleaned would be easier for them. Big sigh.
Just started to snow, think they expect 5-10cm today, wind is up so hazardous driving...can’t go anywhere so might as well enjoy the beauty of it all.
Karen how are you all feeling today?
Sharon that is the thing with Covid, it’s been showing that those who gather in groups have more than 1/2 the chance of ca thing it if one has it,
I have a friend Joyce White who is in a seniors complex in Barrie, there are 3 buildings in the complex, June spike with her yesterday..over 50 people affected, luckily her building is ok so far.
Would so love to go to Spokane, was on our travel list but guess that won’t happen anymore.we had plans one summer on our trips to fly to Vancouver, see family then rent a car and drIve and do some travelling stateside .
As for clothing I have trouble with tops, I’m too heavy chested to buy dresses that fit, I know buy 2 piece clothing sets.
Bet your garden is really coming along, cant wait for pictures.
Thanks for clearing FB and DG, different systems..
They announced last night that the snowmobile drownings was a father and son, can’t even imagine how their family is coping.
My heart hurts for those family members, such an unnecessary loss. I am SUCH a chicken of ice, I can't even go out on ice that is several inches thick in SUPER SHALLOW water of inches deep pond! The sounds of the ice are enough to keep me on the shore. Not that we get a lot of ice capable of ice skating here, rarely. Certainly no ice fishing!!
Son & 2 of the granddaughters stopped by yesterday. I quickly took advantage of their young legs and had them take out more boxes to the barn. Garbage out etc...
So, while I did not accomplish all my chores yesterday, I yielded to the draw of the sewing room and finally did a day of fun sewing. I made 3 pair of shorts, 1 capris, 1 tunic, 1 dress, 2 skirts and 2 tops, all from a high end tailored blouse my sister gave up. It was such beautiful quality of fabric, and the stripes made such fun possibilities I could not resist. I took photos but the pictures do not do the dresses or tunic justice at all. When I got done, it was tough to find enough fabric left over to make an coordinating hair bands or bows!
Bad night. I guess it's my turn.
Moved us over..
