Ok even though this area is hidden, way way back, I need to give it some pizzazz...not today though..turkey Nd fixings should be ready between 5-6..mouth watering
Best/Worse/What did I learn today?Chat with friends old/new..come sit a spell..
That sure looks inviting.
Hoping the mower is picked up today as they said. Too sad they took advantage of you.
I remember when my DSisIL procrastinated about something and after months I gave it to someone else. She finally came to claim it and I told ":snooze you lose". Then I divorced and was going to give away a cement bench, I told her if she wanted it she needed to come get it. She was there the SAME DAY. Guess she learned the lesson & didn't want to lose the bench!!
I was moving to Walla Walla, going to Grad school, living in an apartment and there were LOTS of things I gave away or stored. NOT my angel bench though!!! I was determined even if it had to go in my bedroom I was NOT parting with that!
Your Gnome would brighten up the area more with a fresh paint job, bright reds and more whites. It's a beautiful, peaceful looking area. A little white end table next to your glider maybe...

What I wouldn’t give for that angel bench Pat, not a wonder you didn’t want to part with it, see a few other things I’d like..lol
Yes he come with son-in-law to be..something about him rubs me the wrong way..think we’ve acknowledged each other maybe twice..anyway it’s gone.
Kyle came on motorcycle, Geri hate those things..stayed for an hour so we had a nice visit.
Did a walk around and saw a few pretties..
Too bad the Quincy shrub (orange flowers) lasts for so short a period and look at my giant fleece plant..in 3 weeks it gre 4 ft.no kidding..used to see rock at the pond but rocks are all moss, wondering if I should pul it off.
Over 80 in the house, Drats, the only thing I forgot to do was take the plastic that Jeff had put around the air conditioner for the winter so I guess I’ll have to open windows instead. Note to self make sure you do that first thing in the morning

Yes, I love my Angel bench, it was a special gift from my parents. They asked what I wanted, when I saw this bench I fell in LOVE with it. Hesitated to ask for it, it was expensive! I offered an alternative that was much more affordable and nice. My Dad said "She wants the Angel bench, we are getting the Angel bench!!" Bless Dad, it made me feel good. I have never asked for anything as expensive as that, Mom and were more practical.
Beautiful plants Betty. Which on is the fleece plant. Never heard of it.
Do love the angel bench Pat, can understand your loving it too.
I saw a wicker two seat swing today. I would dearly love it but trying to be good for a change. We do spend a lot of time on the porch. We have a nice assortment of birds coming to visit. We have our morning drink out there. I go back out whenever I need to get warmed up a bit. We sit out in the evening too. We aren't bothered by skeeters, guessing the birds are keeping them under control.
Yes, which one is the fleece plant? I think the moss is cool... I doubt I'd want to remove it. Like weathered wood, you don't get THAT overnight!! People spread all kinds of funky concoctions on their rocks or brick hoping to get the moss to grow faster!!!
If you look at the window in one of the pictures you will see the freeness plant a couple feet high, that was about 3 weeks ago, same window area it’s well over the window frame which are over 6 in another picture are the florets almost ready to bloom, bet in a few weeks.
If I picked correct photosyoull see it in bloom
Grrr Ziggy wasn’t in so I had to keep waiting for him to come home, finally
Maybe some sleep on horizon
looks lovely, Betty
Sorry I haven't been on & been MIA - Bob & I are fine.
I had some teeth out last Friday, and the balance this Friday. Now have partial bottom plate & a full upper. Mouth's a little sore, but not bad. Can't eat with them though, so it's been soup & yogurt & ice cream lol I'll get my liner on June 24th, when the swelling has gone down enough to refit them.
Glad all is fine 8n your world..bet you are anxious for Susan to come this year, so much done on your home and changes in you..yep fun times ahead.
Pat thanks for the great ideas..hmm maybe instead of hand sewing outside today as body says no work today I’ll get some paints out.
Need to take covering off a/c, hmm wonder if I get wood out of the car I can figure out what I can do with the piece that should have been burned, maybe something white can become of it..
I had that strand of solar mini lights (60) that I set against the fencing on a metal iron climber but doesn’t get sun, found an old watering can can’t contain water, see where I am going?
King everyone know that I’m wide-awake I’m singing happy birthday to our Karen.. do you hope it special in every way. Doing anything special, is family coming?
Well it’s supposed to be 75 today how exciting is that rain starting tonight and well into the week. Looks like rain on the weekend was hoping not because that’s when Sharon is moving in, nothing like moving in the rain
Thoughts are with Sharon today, hope she is spending time in the gardens and Las Vegas weather not to hot..
How about Deb and Debbie, how are things in your neck of the woods?
Now to curl my hair, have breakfast, vacuum and enjoy the day.
Happy Birthday Karen !!!
Another glorious day here. Upper 70's just like yesterday. Rain coming though. We have the same forecast Betty.
Good to see you posting Susan. I will be following in your steps soon...... have 6 teeth left on the bottom to be pulled and then hopefully new dentures. Damn radiation killed off all the roots of my teeth ..... although as much as I dread the whole teeth process I wouldn't be too happy with the alternative.
The coyotes are raising a ruckus around midnight for the last few days. No late night walks for the TH for awhile. I put glow sticks on the TH when we walk after it is dark. I saw when I was getting the TH's supplies someone has come up with a lighted collar. Next time I am there I'll have a look at them.
Is your week of having the heart monitor on almost over LK ?
Now I am sleepy. Why can't that happen overnight? I think I just might have a nap.
Stay safe and well.

Dianne what a glorious idea about the glow sticks..I’ll have to check next time I’m stateside to see for flow in hark fabric and if you think it would work I could make the th neck scarves that don’t tie but slip on their collar..yikes about coyotes..maybe you could find a lounger outside and have a snooze!
Is a beautiful day, same as you are having Dianne..I’m piddling, Doing little things then rest..
Know about the teeth, when my kidneys failed and I spent 1/2 year in hospital they soon thereafter had to be pulled, don’t regret it though..hardest part was the eye teeth that had to come out after, dentures would get caught or drop..remember the day, Roger took day off to look after me, Greg was six months old, how do remember so clearly when I can’t remember what I did yesterday lol? Apollo 11 landed on the moon...
Thanks for the birthday wishes. Just hanging out at home. Had hoped to go to MI but wasn't in the cards.
Your too cute Karen, when you were in Michigan you were heading south, now you are south you heading north...glad you are having a nice day.
Just had an hour nap on couch, not feeling up to snuff..going to have turkey dinner then try to go out for a bit..maybe if I force myself
Today was a complete loss, spent it on the couch other than a few quick outings.. finally decided if I took bath and meds that heading to bed and finding a comfortable position (electronic bed) I might get some pain release...found that perfect position and fell asleep, phone rings, nurse calls, doctor on his way, put nicer p.j.’s on and back on couch..he will be here anytime after 7, last time they said after 5 and was closer to 8 so who knows what time he will get here..not looking forward to neck and hip injection. Big sigh!!
Had put a/c on, now I’m cold, just covered up in knitted afghan hoping to warm up.
Sharon, gave him your message..
He just had 2 patients pass this week, hard for him
Wednesday he is closing office as he volunteers for group of challenged kids, about 40, but if all goes well just deals with 3..he says it’s a stressful day...they go to Canada’s wonderland, theme park like Disney..
Had a nice chat..now off to bed
Ohh Debbie, didn’t want to post on Facebook, but is he as cute as your ups guy..hard tak8ng a photo without him seeing and why I was taking it..
Dianne, I have to wear this monitor till Tuesday. At noon, I get to try and peel it off, place it in a box, and mail it off.
Praying your injections give you some relief Betty.
Happy birthday Karen. I hope you had an awesome day.
Thank you Linda
WHY force yourself Betty? there is nothing that can't wait!! that quote is TOO cute!
Betty, are you ok?
Yep, spent most of day in bed..girls came this morning now I’m going to have a little nap
Cool day here but quite nice with a little breeze.
Betty that photo was of your Doc ?I'll have a nap too.... just in solidarity you know. lol
My cleaning lady just left. Oh the house smells and looks great. Now the TH and I will mess it up quickly. She used to have Rottis so understands the hair everywhere.
Deb when is your next dog show ?
Thinking of Sharon ..... holding her close to my heart.
Stay safe and well.
Sorry, been missing. Since Memorial Day weekend, I was having terrible muscle spasms on my right side, I don't know why they started, but they've finally lessened. I still feel like I was kicked in the ribs on my right side from them, but, it's been a few days since I've had one.
Dog shows here starting tomorrow through Sunday, so it'll be a busy week. Working 6am until 10am then running to the show each day. I need to go set up my crates and grooming table tonight after work, and then get home and start grooming. The girls will come to work with me in the morning, they won't be too happy sitting in the car, but it won't be for too long, and mornings have been cool.
Be careful leaving dogs in the car. It is illegal here in Texas.
The dogs will be in their crates, and the back doors on the van left open. Got to work at 5:30am leaving at 9:30 for the show. I can park my van where I can see it from the office, and the office park is pretty quiet this early in the morning.
Deb best of luck at the show. I once was staying at a motel and there was a dog show in that city. The dogs were the best and most well behaved neighbours than sports teams and their parents.
Today is the day you unhook your heart monitor, right LK ?
Hope Betty is resting.
I took a double dose of my Rx sleeping pills. I slept for 12 hours only once getting to go to the bathroom.. I feel like a new person. The unfortunate thing is it's a glorious day and I wasn't outside. I am hoping I have finally shaken the dregs of my last vertigo session.
Was watching abc news last night with David Muir. They showed that a vet from D Day who was looking for his best friend'a grave. The family of the deceased vet saw the news and quickly got in touch with the vet seeking their relative. They plan to meet in person. Made my heart smile.
Glad to hear you got some sleep.
I took my monitor off yesterday. It is on it's way to San Antonio, I drive over there on the 27th, to get results.
Jess, Sammi & I spent the day on a Fab Shop Hop. Lot's of fun. Going to finish up tomorrow.
We have them in Texas, but it would take a week to do them, as they are hours apart from one town to the next.
We hit 4 shops today and will probably do that many tomorrow too. We went to Knoxville area and will go to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg area tomorrow.
Morning, rain her foe next 4-5 days, gulag I decided to cut grass yesterday..
Needles don’t seem to have done a thing for me but he gave it in hopes it would..will try next thing.. big sigh
Lots of drama going on since yestersay, will be an ongoing saga..I’m just sick and nauseated about it..will gab about it a little later when I’m up to it..
Deb, hope you have lots of wins
What are Fab Shop Hops?
Sharon, hope you are able to enjoy our gardens, knowits mega hotyou you and LIndakay
Dianne, have you ever seen such large skitters??
Debbie,are new meds working
Happy happy birthday, Linda.
Fab Shop Hops are a local once a year event. Fabric shops in a given area set aside a few days when all have specials going on. You get a passport which is stamped at every store you visit. They usually have snacks, a demonstration, free pattern and gift at each one. You turn in your passport at the end and they have drawings for prizes.
Betty sorry there is drama going on, it can really wear you down and definitely not something you need now when you aren't feeling so great.
Happy Birthday LK !!
