We sure don’t get black flies like you do Dianne, they do further north.
Went to mail today and cleared nicely if you took the main route, if you took the shortcut everyone was making then not so much..they should have brought shovels lol
Bet you are not missing days of snow Karen,, but soon when I’ve would be the lake you will often think of .
Had a plate of turkey dinner I didnt eat all of it so had it at lunch..tummy saying it’s hungry, I’m thinking some of your soup Dianne will hit the spot.
LIndakay, sorry about passing of another Uncle. Does this one live close to you? How is your brother?
Sharon said she might make an offer on house near midland, would be nice to have her closer
Mom just called, aunt Muriel had a stroke..need to operate but very dangerous at her age.
Big sigh
Best/Worse,What did I learn today??everyone welc9me, old and new, come grab a chair near the fireplace and relax..
I started missing the lake several years ago after I was no longer able to climb the hill. No more missing it. I'd have liked to have a house with a pool as I do enjoy swimming but it wasn't to be. Always compromises to be made.
Thanks Betty. He is in Michigan. He will be cremated, with no services. That is what he wanted. So after his ashes are buried at the V.A. cemetery, there will be a small family memorial gathering.
My brother is the same. He had a swallow test, and failed, so he has to keep the feeding tube. He can't have anything by mouth. He still can't speak or walk.
Sorry to hear about Aunt Muriel. Sending prayers.
Betty - it will likely be another year before I start on the Madam Butterfly quilt, with all the other projects I have to do.
No, don't stay home much anymore. After bowling at our regular league this afternoon, we came home for dinner, then went out to bowl again (next town over - Three Hills). Had a good evening - Bob got over 200 for each of three games. I did better than my average.
Sending prayers for your Aunt Muriel.
Thanks everyone..think it’s time to move us over..
