Came from here..

Morning all, slept fairly well, mustbe reason I’m willing to take on the world today lol
Likely reason for sleeping was a full day of shopping at several fabric shops yesterday.
Susan, wonderful news that Susan’s flight went without a hitch, she has had some flights from hell in the past.
Yesterday was fun, I hadn’t picked up my last pkg for the winter solstice quilt in cookstown, now I have it I’ve no excuse not to get it finished.joined another embroidery class for next month, look forward to that.
This weekend want to take a trip to gravenhurst waterfront for Vendors showcasing their wares. My godson is chainsaw carving, thought now that his dad has passed likely I won’t get to see him come Christmas so should bring his gifts to the show, ohhh I get excited when I can give Christmas gifts 🤪
Fabricland had some canvas type fabric that would be suitable for me to enclose back porch this winter, although none clear if I were to make panels, have the boys attach hooks to frame I could use them year after year without much effort in attaching them, it’s all about making life easier right? Need 28 yards, now to find fabric that has enough yardage on the roll.
While I was out yesterday Grace Frames called, need my cc to cover cost of mailing out my stitch regulator, hoping one weekend soon once I’ve received it I can get greg to attach to frame so must call them first thing this morning..they are in your neck of the woods Susan so I must remember time difference.

Beautiful blooms.
I am leaving for San Antonio this afternoon. My chemical stress test is first thing in the morning. I will keep you posted when I can.
Good luck lindakay, envious of you being in San Antonio..will you stay a few days?
Safe travels and good luck!
I am spending tonight. Stress test at 8 in the morning. It will take at least 3 hours. I will drive home as soon as I am allowed to do so.
Sending positive thoughts LK. I sincerely hope this test will provide some answers for you.
Thanks, me too.
*Gentle Hugs* LK - I hear San Antonio is beautiful. Hope you have an uneventful drive there & back.
I finished grouting the bathroom tile, and cleaned it up. Looking good......... :-)
Early morning ‘hi’
Lindakay, when will you get results of your tests, today after test? Waiting is the pitz when you aren’t well and anxious for results.
What a difference Susan, once you do the grout, you aswell are getting much done.
Must get up and look outside, may house solar numbers aren’t working as sandman missed my house again..grrr

Ilordy,lordy.... if I wasn’t awake all night due to aching bones I’m up and regenerated because of Ziggy.
Ziggy spends her nights at the end of my bed, he enjoys that I have the electronic portion of end of bed up for my legs,he so loves height..he was scrambling on the floor, “what are you doing Ziffy?” Hops on the bed and lays there, all of a sudden a mouse runs over my chest, hides under pillows, Ziggy lies in waiting, I i get a cloth and a bag,try to catch him, ,he is quicker than I, now it’s Ziggy who looks at me and asks “what are you doing?”
So now there is no way this gal is climbing into bed so I’m up, wondering how I will attack making my bed..think it's best I take all the blankets off incase the little mouse is somewhere, if not in blankets where???
Going to be a long day.

omg betty sorry lol
MOUSE??? LOl that would be the end of my sleep for the night!!
IF I can use my temazepam, and not have to get up in the morning, I will get a decent night sleep usually. I only get 60 for whole year so I am pretty stingy about when I choose to use them.
I have never put tile down & grouted. With bad knees, not likely to happen now unless it's a DDIL's backsplash or something like that.
Not fond of mice either..Ziggy better start doing his job, it’s one thing picking them up for trash but another when it’s running all over me.
How come only 60 Pat
No sleepmeans getting a lot done. Lol..did 3 more Xmas wine stockings, they get addictive😜 I’d best find more people to give Christmas gifts to right?
Tomorrow I, linda and Suzanne travel to cottage country for lakeside for craft show so I had best get some sleep later
Back to find8ng another project to do
Very very nice Susan, love the design and color scheme..how pleased you must be.
Lunch time, took hamburger out to make paddies, should do some..need to freeze some though as there is far too much for me for a meal..know I have a hamburger patty maker, should look for it.
Stress test went a lot easier than last time. I go back in one month for results.
My 13 year old grandson woke uo my son at 4 this morning, and told him he doesn't want to live anymore. Shocked everyone. After talking to him, we took him to the ER for evaluation. He spent most of the day there. He has to follow up with a shrink. Basically he is not happy living with his mom, and didn't know how to tell anyone. So everything is out in the open, and my son and his ex need to work things out.
Omg Lindakay, how overwhelming for you all,so young to have those thoughts..
A blessing he came to speak with his dad..you got to wonder all this talk of youth suicide if it doesn’t do as much harm as it does good...will keep him in my prayers.
That is a long wait to get results lindakay.
Slept all afternoon, can barely get hands work and hip major pain..these past few days of rain and humidity are doingme in.
Have much to get done before 7a.m. When Linda and Suzanne get here but I have to call it a day..now if the mouse situation is under control I’ll be ok
OMGoodness, LK - glad he got it out, so he can get therapy & treatment. Poor boy......
Betty - it's not unusual for kids of that age to have thoughts of suicide - unfortunately. It's hard to help some of the kids because they keep everything quiet & don't tell anyone.
I am so glad he spoke out.
Not many speak up lindakay, thank the Lordhe was open enough to say what is bothering him. Has he always lived with his mom? Glad there is help..remember when Noah was going through similarafter his stabbing (still ongoing) he was at the age he fell through the cracks?
Well I’m wide awake, Ziggy and hispet mouse are at it again..big sigh

Oh LK I am so thankful your DGS was able to come forth and express his feelings. Having worked with kids feelings emotions such as that the fact he came forward and said something is the first step back to a healthy recovery. Sending my prayers, comforting thoughts, strength and hugs to all involved.
Thanks for the prayers.
Yes, Mom got custody, he spends every other weekend at Dads home, as well as half of summer vacation.
Talk "about suicide" is not what is harmful, it's the glorifying. As a former DMHP (the one's who make the decision whether to involuntarily hospitalize someone), I am glad to hear he told his father AND what some of the contributing factors are. Now to watch him closely, find working meds AND counseling.
I would recommend his parents doing some reading about teen suicide so they can recognize some of the signs. Some of the signs LOOK like improvement and are NOT.
Only get 60 of the pills because the MD does not want me to possibly become dependent on them. They have that risk.
When my cat Pumpkin decided that mice were "potential pets and friends", I got a 2nd cat!!! Pumpkin was bringing them INTO the house to play with!!! We had to frisk her (check under her paws etc) to be sure she wasn't hiding her playmate before she made a dash into the house, sneaky lil' devil!! LOL
omgoodness Pat - cat playmate? sneaky, indeed!!
My cats are not mousers, they play with them, however the dog....best mouser ever.
He is also amazing fly catcher, which surprises me.
Please keep Rory in your prayers. My son Andy said he had to take him back to the ER, and they said they will probably admit him. :(
Keeping him in my prayers Lindakay..armwraps coming your way! Maybe it’s best they keep Rory under observation for a bit..poor little one.
Came home from Gravenhurst yesterday, rug in living room all askew, shoes all over, throws on the floor, must have been quite the battle, looked around and there lay a dead mouse.
Worked on cousins quilt this morning took a break and heard a knock, brother Mike amd his wife Kim were out on spider and came for a visit. They were just about to leVe when I got a call, my sister-in-law came home from shopping and found her son sitting in a chair, dead...police are there right now, guess all angles have to be checked..he is 51, not quite a year older than Greg..did a lot of drugs, hard on his body so who knows..waiting to hear..greg and Mel called. D said they were dropping in so glad I started a nice supper this aft that will feed a gang.
Sorry to hear about your Sister in laws son. Sending prayers.
You have had a busy day!
Thanks lindakay..I’m sureMarg is overwhelmed.
Gregand mel just left, cameto show me their new truck, mel says the most favourite thing about it is it matches thecamper..spoilt they are.
Had a goal ofwhat I wanted done this weekend but lost today due to company, I’d rather have the company.
If I pushed myself I guess I could get it done..hmmm
Admitting Rory is NOT a bad thing. Admitting him will give him the time necessary to try a medication while professional can keep an eye on him. With any luck Rory will be stable before school starts and this will give his parents an opportunity to discuss options that focus on what is best for Rory.
Betty I am so glad you had company AND that Ziggy is taking his responsibilities more seriously.
Heart breaking to lose a family member so young. The choices we make create long term consequences for everyone in a family, I am sorry for their loss. While I was still working as a drug & alcohol counselor a family called to say their loved one just passed away from natural causes (in his 40 or early 50) and to thank us, he died sober and clean, that was such a comfort to them..
Thanks Pat,
They have sent my nephew for autopsy in Toronto, Marg went to Whitby with my other sister-in-law to stay with her for a bit where she will be well taken care of.
Time to call it a night but Ziggy still outside so have to wait for him lol
Betty, did you sleep all day?
I thought I posted something about your nephew, Betty, but guess I didn't (senior moment).
So sad to hear about his passing. 51 is so very young, but it's possible that the drugs just finally took their toll on him. You're right, they are hard on the system. I hope your sister-in-law & the family can get some kind of closure on this, and proceed with their grieving. It's terribly hard to lose a son, but not to know the circumstances is doubly tough.
so sad betty, sorry for your loss.
Morning all, haven’t checked the weather, put out garbage and it sure feels like rain anytime.
Yesterday was a bust day, unbeknown to me ..company got here just before 9, live drop ins, I truly do..flannel had gifts inhand, said it was a special day visiting with me, she is too adorable..she stayed till 12:30 an pd Joan whom I hadn’t seen in ages dropped in..there went the afternoon..
This morning the girls come, then my niece LeeAnn and her son Taye so there goes today.
Tomorrow if her schedule allows joanne will come and sew., thursday I meet up with friends in the city and there goes this week.
Marg my sister-in-law is in Whitby with her sister Gail, she will be looked after well..Allen sent to Toronto for autopsy..hard times for her as she so depended on Allen. The young man had mega problems, she married a man after divorcing her husband and her 2 children were young to only find out he had mentally and sexually abused the kids, did a number on them so not a wonder he turned to drugs..
I noticed while setting out garbage there is a large animal sleeping or dead on my roof, maybe a raccoon, must go out and check it out..
Hope you have a nice day.
You don't need to be climbing on the roof. Please call one of your kids.
Betty - do not touch a dead animal of any kind! Get animal control, they'll know what to do. You don't want rabies of anything nasty like that.
Quick story - last night heard a mouse, in our stove drawer, Bob caught it in a sticky trap, took it outside & "dealt" with it. ewww ewww ewww
It isn’t done, when to check and he was in a different position, pouring rain so maybe he will climb down and find a new resting place...
Girls just left with wine totes and cut out patterns for their next 1-2-3. Lol
Then he isn't dead, but may be hurt - be careful, Betty! Injured animals bite when scared.
