Seems like waiting 3 mos. is too long. A stent is a relatively easy procedure. I've had several. I was awake and talking to the Dr. through out. I should think Dr. would not want to risk a heart attack.

hurts, itches like crazy. I am whiney and crabby. trying to "stay away" from people to avoid being unkind. I go to work tomorrow. we get pto and I don't want to give up vacation time being home hurting. I rarely can accrue any time with all the md and dds appts I have.

Lyndonville, NY

We had 10 minutes of rain, no boomers at all.....and then gone and humid.

Fires are about 45 minutes south east of here. A farmers field caught fire while he was doing hay, and the tractor went up in flames too. Took about 4 hours to get it out. Right now, that area is under a storm watch, as is south of here. Supposed to move this way....but I don't think it will happen.

Tomorrow they are saying high of 75. Lets hope! We are on town water, but we pay heavily for it. I am shocked when we get the bill for water and sewer. I think is about 200 each quarter, summer is higher.

Not good news lindakay,If meds aren’t working why do they want to wait 3months and take a chance

Drats wrote a large post and lost it..my fault..

Good morning, it’s a sunshine day today and not as humid, must change the temp on a/c.

Did any of you get the rain? Storm blew in 3 times, luckily no flooding and the grass looks lush today, can’t believe the sod I put down, after spreading seed encased in nutrients it just did wonders, maybe I won’t lose it after all..sure like the look of the sod from the patio set to the fence..fewmore pkaces need sod but I think I’ll wait closer to fall to lay it down.

Debbie, bet they were hoping they would get rain to make sure the fire on the fields were contained. Big smile, big day for you tomorrow, as well, l8nda is turning 65 and Roger would be 75, mind boggling, can’t imagine him 75but then I find it hard to believe I’m 70.

Did I tell you allthe tests on melanie’s Lumps in her breast came back negative, wonderful news..they were worried Asher dad died last year of cancer.

Garbage at the roadside now waiting for girls to arrive so best make my way downstairs

(Pat) Kennewick, WA(Zone 5b)

great news about the tests

Verona, ON

No rain ! I am bummed.

Excellent news for Melanie.

Cleaning lady is here so the TH and I are down in the cool downstairs. I almost need a sweater down here. We might not move for the day. I watered early, early this am. I used well water - we have a great well but don't want to take a chance. Although I use so little water with just me I probably don't need to worry.

Stay safe, well and cool.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Hard to believe Dianne you didn’t get any of the storm, my gardens are so happy, nothing like Good old rainfall..

We were in basement sewing, girls just left, it’s cool as well. I had shut off a/c but since I’m upstairs it’s feeling a tad warmer so will open the windows as there is a nice breeze out there and no humidity.

Might take a nap, perm isn’t til later this afternoon.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I asked the Dr. about waiting 3 months, he said to give the meds time to work. I have already been on them since last October. Todd is not happy either. He said look for a new Dr.
I asked the Dr. if what I had is AFIB, he said no. It is called Premature ventricular contractions (PVCs), which if not treated properly will turn into AFIB.

Pat, I sure hope your pain goes away quickly.

Betty, I am going to be 29.95 plus shipping and handling.....forever. hehehe No more birthdays. I so hate them.

Victoria Harbour, ON

I don’t like the sounds of him not moving forward, him not doing so could result in more health issues..keep pushing!

Debbie, too cute lol

I don’t mind birthdays, I justthinkhow lucky I am to have lived longer than a lot..can’t imagine Roger at 75

Just put a/c back on, thermostat read 78 in here, too hot for me

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Pat he's waiting a year?? Doesn't make sense to me, if 9 mos. doesn't show improvement, not much chance of three more being any better. Yeah I agree and new Dr. Never hurts to have a second opinion.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Wen for a perm, got there and changed my mind, cut all my hair off, almost a spike look, no perm..not sure I like it but I know it will grow in.

Picked up groceries, put them away, had some eats and now it's bath time, well will be one I put the umbrellas down, winds up so best not leave them open.

Ziggy is not happy with me, wants out, but at this time of night if I let him out he will likely be out half the night so nope not letting him out.

(Pat) Kennewick, WA(Zone 5b)

sorry Ziggy, you are grounded and have curfew until mom forgives you or forgets!

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

LK - I agree - the Dr is not doing due diliegence! Get another Dr!

Morning, high of 70 today, great day for puttering around outside for a bit, skitters are in full force though .. so nice not dealing with humidity.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Debbie, hoping you have a sunshine day! Will it be a Debbie day,out taking photo’s?

Waiting til 9 to call Linda, mitsher 65th and feeling sad, would have been Rogers 75..lordy 47 was way too yo7ng to die.

Heard yesterday an acquaintance was killed in car accident night before last, big sigh..

Ohhh on goodness side, local newspaper had photo of the new seniors home being built behind me, justup the street a bit and for those who have been here behind the community Center..that is exciting.

Walk aroundgarden time..

Enjoy your day!

Seriously though - you were a handsome couple, and yes the puppies are cute! I've had my dose of handsome & cute today!!

Morning all, high of 77 today, sunshine galore..so beautiful out...
Got up at 6, checked my messages after having bathand putting a load of laundry on and there was jeff, asking what my early plans were? He decided that he wanted to go golfing with friends in Toronto and needed his Jeep to load up, he was in port Severn where we lived on the lake so in 15minutes I was there and we were back here at 8:10. Lordy it was so serene, not a ripple on the lake, sat for an hour while jeff packed up, watching boaters wake and plan their day, brought back memories of doing same.

Jeff likely will be back for weekend, wants to do another day kayaking and a day of golf with Greg..love it when my boys have time together.

Had the grass not been so wet jeff would have done grass for me, told me to wait til tomorrow but so want it done that I’ll not wait.

Waiting for a call, they will operate on aunt Muriel today, not sure what time..at 89 and no skin on her bones, breaking a hip could be the end of her..know if there is a chance she will be bedridden she would rather not make it, poor thing.

Liz, big smile here, you are both sweethearts, know we’d not havebetter tour guides. This morning I’m looking at weather forecast for the days we will be in area..haven’t packed yet but have beenmarking things I need to pack on a list..anything I can bring to you and Kenny from Canada?

What is in all of your plans for today?

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I just got back from doing lab work at the Dr. Picked up a few groceries and am back home. Think I will get more kids quilts cut out and ready to sew.

Pacifica, CA

lol yes diane sent me some beans in a glass jar made in Canada
they were so yummy they were similar to brand bush grilling beans ill see if I can find them and get you the name.

ok found them there by Sprague foods
there called campfire baked beans in Canadian whisky
im so crazy lol

Liz & Betty, I am sitting here chuckling to myself, the thoughts of Kenny as a tour guide and on a cable car. You will have a good time, as well as every one else around you. I had so much fun with all of you and Judy when we met up. Between all of them and Steve and Kenny, my sides hurt laughing.

Thank you ALL for the birthday wishes. Quiet day here yesterday. Not much at all. Shane did get out of work early and made a lava cake for me. OMG is that good. I sent half of it to work with him for boss to thank for letting him out early.

Having my coffee a bit late. Need to get moving. CPAP has my sleep schedule a mess.

Hugs to all
Debbie

Victoria Harbour, ON

It was such a great time all of us in Chicago, even to be escorted out by motorcycle Debbie lol

Lava cake, not sure I’ve had one or if I did maybe a different name.

Liz, going to check that out, we have some specialty shops in midland, will be fun going in search of it..maybe Dianne can tell me where she got it, rest assured if I can find it I’ll bring some.

(Pat) Kennewick, WA(Zone 5b)

Ben's Aunt passed away and the plans are up in the air. His daughter was planning on taking him (Boise 6 hours away) and his sister but there have been complications. we will see, with Ben's family it is never easy and straight forward.

Lyndonville, NY

Betty a lava cake is a chocolate cake, with actual pudding in the middle.
When you scoop the cake out, the "lava" pudding goes all over and flows through your cake. No frosting needed....pudding makes it so moist!!! You do not mix it in the cake....put cake batter in pan, and just pour pudding over top in middle. Cake bakes over and around it.

Verona, ON

Betty I got them at a Farm to Table store here in the village.

Haven't had Lava cake in a couple of years. Can't you make it in a mug ?

Wen't into Ktown spent a boodle. Needed a new mattress and box spring. Decided not to go with the fancy and expensive Casper mattress I saw online. With the TH it would be ruined in no time. Went to Mattress Mart and was very impressed. It will be delivered Sat. They take away the old mattress and box spring plus didn't charge me for the delivery or taking away old stuff .Leons and The Brick charge $75 to deliver to Verona and won't take away what they are replacing.Plus they honoured the sale price of the ad I took in. Woo hoo !!

Took care of all of my banking that I needed to actually go into the bank itself to do. Haven't done that in a year or so. Went to Farm Boy (got some delicious Leek and Potato Soup I'll have chilled), Loblaws and WM. Haven't been into town in quite awhile so needed quite a few supplies.Except for Mattress Mart everything was VERY busy.

Pat how is your hand ? Condolences on the loss of Ben's aunt.

Ah Lake Simcoe !!! Ladies you have no idea how beautiful that area is..... right Betty?

LK you need another doctor. Todd is right. Does he want you to endanger your life?

Need to settle for a bit - I haven't spent that long at 1 time in Ktown for a couple of years.

Stay safe, well and cool.

Diaanne, fun having a day like you did, great buy..

Yes, this morning Jeff was talking to people on boats from USA, one from Alabama Nd one from Louisianna, both had left months ago Nd had travelled Mississippi and will continue their journey andbe back south before bad weather sets in come fall.

Both said that in all their travels up Mississippi and Great Lakes that Georgian Bay tops them lol big time. Imagine staying on a boat year round!
