We best set one up then, I miss getting something for the gardens, wish I had marked who sent me the cute angel?
Much the same here Dianne, decided like you that the garden isn’t worth being eaten alive, fact of the matter is I’m thinking of turning heat on to take chill away.
Oh Debbie I listen often, just had apple juice with my pill, maybe a trip to balance to pick up undiluted cranberry juice, maybe I’ll wait for you and we can take the trip, remember the marsh?
Shall I start a garden swap here?
Was thinking with all the rain this week I just might paint the laundry room amd do stained strapping where drywall seems are..needs to be done and i just keep putting it off.
Off to was the butterflies after I clean off corrosion..they’ve been sitting there for years,
Gab on next break lol
best/Worse/What did I learn today? Chat with friends..all welcome, come sit a spell..
Beautiful day on the prairie today. We are starting to dry out but the front pasture is still a lake. The mosquitoes are starting to carry people away already!! LOL I will have to get my little propane unit out. It seems to help. I really need to weed the outside garden but I will need to put on my knee high boots for the mud.
Still puzzled as to what got the goose and ducks last weekend. I'm starting to think it was the two legged predator. Can't think of anything else. With all the critters around here, I might have to take a sidearm with me when I go to the garden. I walked to the high tunnel yesterday and something big was running through the trees, so I hope it was the deer that we saw by the pond the other day. Just spooky.
Better get to weeding. Still have flowers to put into the beds so now is a cool morning to get that done.
Have a good day everyone.
Betty, if you don't mind setting up the swap. So far we have Betty, Susan, Debbie, Liz and myself. I think Dianne said she would like to join also.
Ruth, would you like to join the garden art swap. How about Pat? "M" are you lurking?
Ruth welcome to our group, excited as can be you are joining us, am sure the gals are as well..omg you are brave out there without protection if there is that much wildlife! Are you on a farm?
Second border, will have to do but next time to showcase it I’d have started with a 1 1/2” of black then my 2 borders, really would have showcased it..NOT going to take them off as I’ve limited fabric, just enough for binding maybe.
1st one is a learning process, I’ll keep it for myself.
I’ve a lot of fat quarters from this fat quarter pkg..could do each one different and they would tie in..who know what afternoon will bring, know I’d like this and table runner ready for hand sewing binding tonight
Parade passed about 1/2hr ago, could see a bit of it from the deck, was raining lightly so decided I wasn’t going out and catch something.
Will do Lindakay
This piece would be great for a baby quilt with the pinwheel being dimensional, can see a bake hav8ng loads of fun playing with it
