Morning, on the chilly side this morning brrrr
Although they called for rain they now say overcast..

Did you all hear someone last night saying bad words, yep,me cursing, started vomiting again..made it through the night, tummy feels a little better but I still feel nauseated. Let’s hooe as day progresses it gets better vs worse...oh how I’d hate to go through all that crap again!

What do you have planned for the day?

For me I need a few groceries, soups/pudding and the likes so hoping to get moving a little quicker so that I can beat the tourist

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Oh Betty, s sorry sure hope all that crap isn't starting again. Keep on top of it don't let it get too bad before you seek help.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Beautiful yard Betty. Please call tbe Dr now. You know it takes awhile to get in to see him.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Betty - could that be why your eyes were out of focus yesterday?

We were out all day yesterday, buying supplies for our new roof, closet, bathroom, and just need to buy the siding for the west side of our home. Going to be a busy summer.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Feeling better, as long as I don’t eat mega solids I’m ok..almost bought outmgrocery store of pudding, jello, applesauce etc..enough to get me through the week.

Stopped at home depot, they had black mulch on for $3.30, I wanted 4 bags..
saw my friend Janice and her hubbymshopping for same, they insisted they would bring the bags home for me and wouldn’t let me pay..was nice of them.

Having my first coffee of the day along with a hot cross bun then maybe I’ll get off the couch and get the mulch spread

Victoria Harbour, ON

Had company a few times today..getting what for with my promising if I get worse I’ll be off to emerge, been there done that often enough.

Made a light lunch, couldn’t even think about eating it, took out applesauce, two spoonfuls, nope can’t eat that.

Actually thinking of bed, have ginger ale downstairs, I’ll go get some and let it go stale so I have something near the bedside.

I so was hoping this was over

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Why aren't you at the ER now?

Victoria Harbour, ON

Morning all, suppose to feel like 103 today but hard to imagine...nice light breeze.

Happy Father’s Day to all, many of us I’m sure are going down memory lane, big sigh, we sure do miss them!

Slept off and on last night, so far tak8ng me all morning to drink a coffee, will work on broth for lunch...was going to try a piece of hot cross bun but nope.

Been out in the gardens this morning, was it just a month ago I was crying the blues about them? Lol. So peaceful walking around them, even more so it’s the fencing.

Drats, 2 birdfeeders down, think that raccoon is playing in the yard while I sleep.

Still in Jammie’s, thinking of not getting dressed today, calling docs office tmr.

Hope you have a great day

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Happy Fathers day. It is sad going down memory lane, but always nice to remember the good time we had.

Victoria Harbour, ON

That it is lindakay..

Had a bath, walked my hair, feel human. Cooked chicken broth but now I look at it and say no

Happy Father's Day.
This will be a sad day for my daughter, as her father passed away Nov 1. She got the PowerPoint of all pictures of her from birth on. Some of them will be her dad, and I know she'll like those.

Me & Elvis last night after the concert. The show was fantastick, and I hope the fundraiser was good $$

Betty when is the Elvis weekend up your way ?

Hotter than Hades here - the TH and I came in around noon to the AC on.

I am more than a little PO'd. The yellow begonias and marigolds I bought at 1 local store have died. The begonia barrel I plant with yellow ones for Warren. I won't be able to replace them now.

One of my prized garden tools came apart yesterday. I have had it since 1971 so I guess I should consider myself lucky. I can't even use the drill and screw the 3 pronged head back on. Bought a new one this morning.

Stay safe and cool

July 27 for 3 days, haven’t been in several years as it falls on my Roadtrip days..heard Dianne that there is burn out with volunteers, such a huge event, hundreds of thousands, sad but it happens, said likely 2020 will be last.

Do you not th8nkgarden centres would have them, I bought mine at foodland last year, didn’t see any this year but might have at Home Depot..sorry about your favourite gardening tool, sucks...I bought a new tool at home hardware last year, thought it would be the cats meow but too heavy and long for me.

Susan, love the photo..was the event held at the arena? They are always great concerts right?

Yep,feels like 104 here today, didn’t feel bad about bein* 8n bed, was too hot to be outside anyway

Ziggy has spent the afternoon with me on the bed, great company, him sleeping and me watching

Betty so glad you are calling Dr. tomorrow. Meanwhile, take it very easy. Maybe you can eat a small amount of something you really love. Off my feed some too, maybe it's the heat in my case.
Oh we have 8 ducklings who have survived and seem to be doing well.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

yes, the event was at the Arena - in the skating rink. They set up a stage and tables & chairs for the audience. Lots of room, actually. It got a bit noisy, but he was encouraging it lol After his 2 hours of the show, they served beef on a bun w/coleslaw, then had a band playing for the next hour, for dancing.
Tomorrow night we'll find out how financially successful it was.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Morning all, rain is in the air but not raining as yet, will cool things down hopefully.

Susan, sounds like a fun night..
Had a half decent night last, watched a few shows, not because I was sick but one can only sleep so many hours Ina day right?

Victoria Harbour, ON

Storm is a brewing, warning for our area.

Busy morning, Kyle was here for 2 hrs...was chatty, always enjoy his visits, mead lots to tell about his weekends away in the trailer

Rita came, made some changes, confused Liz to bits lol with my changes, heading out to San Francisco 1 day earlier so we have Kenny for entire weekend, our own tour guide, he and Liz..

We got online and booked a stay in Long Beach on the Queen Mary ship, how much fun is that.

Omg Rita was just leaving when Liz called me, so excited to hear her voice. She will send me 8nfo of what to see in Death Valley and Yosemite Park..wow, now to get back to health..

Feeling a little better, called dr.’s office, told receptionist I cannot eat solids and takes all my time to drink liquids and she fit me in 1st available appt...july6 imagine

Guess if I took turn for the worse I know where emerge is

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Holy cow, July 6th! Don't wait, get to the ER now, so you can get healed for your trip.
The building we have our quilting group, belongs to the agriculture center. They also have 4-H kids there. Today, Tuesday and Wed, us quilters volunteered to teach the young girls how to sew. Today we made a simple sausage roll pillow case, tomorrow and Wed, they are making a rag quilt. Some of them have never seen a sewing machine, so we taught them the basics and safety, Some took right off, others had to be told how to keep the fabric straight to sew an even seam. Even with tape on the machine, they could not get it. It was the 6 year olds that learned it so easy.

northeast, IL(Zone 5a)

Oh, Linda Kay, how fun is that, teaching the young girls to sew!! That is a talent that will serve them well all throughout their lives!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Oh Lordy lindakay, that would be so much fun..somethingbthey should do around here..

If I don’t improve, will go to emerge

Heavy rains right now, sure hope it cools things down

Deb, how are dogsmdealingmwithnthe heat, friend of mine has a German Shepard, says she went and bought a child’s pool so dog can cool down. Sharon’s dogs are enjoying the pool lol

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Betty - I agree, go to Emerg NOW, not July 6th! Not being able to eat solids, and having trouble with liquids is not something you wait for! grrrr on the Dr's office. Likely wanting you to go to Emerg anyway, or the receptionist is an idiot - take your choice!

LK - that's awesome, teaching the young ones. I think the 6yo's are more trainable because they don't have the worry factor built in yet lol

Can hardly wait - our reno supplies are on their way. Should be here within 1/2 hr. Bob kept phoning and adding stuff lol They were likely waiting to see if he would make yet another call (2 calls yesterday, and 1 first thing this morning!). Ah well, should be all set now, for 2 month's worth of heavy working!

Verona, ON

LK I think that is fantastic you are teaching the 4Hers how to sew. As a proud member of 4H as a kid I know they will really enjoy your time with them You are spot on about the 6 year olds catching on faster than the older ones. They're a fresh palette !!

New windows arrived today. Poor Duke had a complete meltdown as soon as he heard the big diesel truck. Poor little guy. I crated him but he was still in bad shape. When the work resumes I think I will crate him but I will put his crate in the walk in closet. If he doesn't hide in his crate he hides in the closet.

Your trip sounds fantastic Betty. The Queen Mary.... wow !!

Stay safe, well and cool

Evening, was watching cnn, fell asleep and just woke up, now as wide awake as can be.

You know I’ve been vigilant re this vomiting and trips and stays in hospital so believe me when I say I would go if need be, today I did better, managed a slice of bread and an apple, said to heck with applesauce,go for the full apple. Lol. Filled myself right up, so far so good.

How many windows are you replacing Dianne? Poor Duke, these strangers must be so overwhelming to him.

Exciting time for you susan tomget all your upgrades done, nice feeling to have your home just as you want it.

Girls come in the morning, it will be the first time in a week I’ve been in my craft room, maybe I’ve forgotten how to sew😊

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Our new windows arrived today too - picture for the front, and regular window at the side (in the living room, too, but not a picture window). Glad they'll be done professionally, but still waiting to get the quote for the work to be done. Hopefully this is the end of the money drain. Yes, we still have some left, and yes we'll get some of it (if not all) back, but still kinda scary spending all this money!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Morning, sure like the cooler temps

Susan, can’t havemit bothmways ask me lol. It’s either $$$ in the bank or pierce of mind having what you want and enjoying both. Just think on cold winter months you can sit by the windows

Time to see if I can get a coffee down, get garbage to the roadside, dress and be ready for the girls..forgot, must get the cushions to the patio sets out of the basement entrance or they will never get in

Lyndonville, NY

Ahhhhummmm.....pulls out my step stool.

Steps up. Bessie Lou!!!! Go get checked out.
Blurry vision and other symptoms of high blood pressure....
AND....along with stomach, something is going on. NOT a virus.

Don't make me call Sharon or Mel....or the boys!!!

A bit crazy here, but trying to keep up. Waving to all, big hugs.....

Betty...I will call them!!! -_-

Victoria Harbour, ON

I listened debbie, I’m so nauseated this morning, fought vomiting, couldn’t wait for girls to leave, going to nap

Kept pressing redial and got through to after hours clinic, appt 5:10

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

appt 5:10? TODAY? That's better!!

The $$ may be going out, but we're also going to be getting some coming back.
Found out that if we buy a new mattress/bed, or new/used Fridge/Stove/Washer/dryer, we get some back for any of them.
Up to $500 for bed/mattress, $400 for dryer/$500 for washer/$700 for each of Fridge/Stove. So, we need a new mattress, and it's under $500, so we'll get that back. This is for low-income seniors. That would be us!!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Went to after hrs clinic, doc said I needed more help than he could give, off to emerge and here I am in hospital...hoping once they do their testing this morning they will, send me home.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Glad to hear you are getting the help you need. Keep us posted please.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

*Big Hugs* Betty - glad you got in earlier. Obviously there's more than waiting until July 6th would be right for. This Dr saying you needed more help is "right on"!! I'm worried about you, but so glad you're getting the time at the hospital that you need. You've been in and out of the hospital so many times. This needs to be settled before you go home (much as I hate to see you in the hospital, apparently it's where you need to be at the moment).

Verona, ON

Betty I am so glad you finally listened to everybody. I am also very happy the doc at the after hours clinic told you that you needed more help than he could offer.

Victoria Harbour, ON

As is the norm with this stupid vomiting once I get meds tomsettle it down I feel fine then who knows when it returns.already had ct scan and X-rays this morning..now waiting for results

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Please keep us posted as you can.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Take care, Betty

I'm off to a Red Hatters outting. Hope everyone has a good day :-)

Lyndonville, NY

I just had a feeling Betty that is where you needed to be.

Let them do their work so you can feel better and get home.

AND be honest with your symptoms, how long you have had them and can't even stand applesauce!!!

BIG hugs
