I found out it is a model 28k. It is a table top model, and is a hand crank. Has anyone used that type, are they easy to use?

Victoria Harbour, ON

Think I have lindakay..it's hard to be in control of fabric while trying to turn the crank but I'm sure after a bit of practice you could master it.

Anxious to see photo's Susan, what a thrill to alamost be finished

Just had a bath, sick to my tummy, heading to bed as I'm sooo tired, think it's nerves

Know I wanted to remodel a but bit this is big time remodel project.

Had a big cupboard with drawers and had corner area, like lazy Susan, well before I knew it in the garbage it went. Decided I'd take down the wall that you enter laundry room / wasroom and have them lay flooring and rebuild wall making it a tad larger..big big sigh

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Betty - I know it's a huge project, but you've always loved projects and I know you'll jump in with both feet and once you have an idea of your design, you'll love it. Just make sure you don't overdo, and get people to install things that are too heavy or awkward for you. Do yourself a favour and enjoy this, not like a job, but like an adventure!

Enjoying your sunset Susan...

Beautiful pictures, Susan!

Yikes, on the double charge, glad you caught it right away, Betty. Hope you can get it straightened out quickly.

Oh Betty that is terrible. Glad you took photos as the municipality will pay for the damage.
Lovely Spring day here.

No they won't pay, say sue neighbor because his culvert is smashed..not worth it

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Sorry you are going through all this. God has given you lots of patience.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Betty - water is not your friend this year! You do have a lot of patience, and I applaud you for it. I'm not sure I could handle it as well as you are.

Had some fun today - bought plants, seeds & garden decor - 1 honeysuckle, 2 bleeding hearts, 2 trellis/planter combos, veggie/flower seeds, and other garden decor. Going to have fun this year!

Victoria Harbour, ON

Morning all, sunshine day out there, hopefully today will be drama free.

Susan, yes, not a friend of mine for sure..one of the guys cam from Service Master to check on levels of dampness, we talked about what is best for flooring downstairs and if I want to keep the subfloor or not, not sure.

Know the cupboard where all the painting design books are housed has to be emptied, they usually do it I said I would because it needs a good purging..would say for every one book I keep 4-5 goes to the garbage..been years since I've really painted so figure its time they go..head is a bit hazy and I'm sick to my stomach to will restrict a bit before I finish the job

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

hahahaha Betty - just as you're finishing painting, I'm taking it up! I got given, by Una at the library, a box of acrylic paint to do some murals on our garden fence, in our den and perhaps in the Library here. I'm looking forward to it

Victoria Harbour, ON

Susan, my friend is back, torrential rain, thunder/lightning happening, pretty bad..
Hope if any of you are in this storms pathway all are safe.

See with sun and rain, grass is getting greener, buds on tree branches soon will be open, Mother Nature at her best

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

omg - it's NOT your friend, all that water!! *hugs* to you, my friend. Keep safe & dry, please.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Wonder where everyone has been?
Haven't seen Barb post anywhere, makes me nervous

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I am here. Been sleeping a lot when I take pain pills for my tooth.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Hi LindaKay - glad you're getting some rest - hope you feel better soon

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thank you Susan.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Morning all, say it will be overcast today with rain later this evening, high of 63, think someone is saying a fib..

Nothing worse Lindakay than a toothache..pain mess are great butsure has some after effects.. how is Todd doing?

I took 2 pain pills last night, slept off and on, was tempted to take a 3rd but didn't even though bottle said I could.

Was up early, decided seeing I cleaned my closets and am heading to the dump later that I would work on shoes and purses..

Took a rest, had coffee and heading downstairs to get a metal tray of paints, think there is about 20 of them, purge what is almost empty..hoping when I have cupboard made, I'll have something that they n go inside vs the wall, tidy it up

Next place I will hit is the dining room cupboard, good wine glasses/vases etc..time to get ride most of them

When you are on a purging roll Best not to stop

Sharon's puppies..aren't they the cutest

Frozen sperm incemenated in another female she has, almost at the end of her breeding days, Sharon I mean lol

Thumbnail by Bettypauze
northeast, IL(Zone 5a)

They are adorable! How old are they now, I think they were a week or so younger than mine. We had our first puppy shots this week. Having a disagreement with my co-breeder on the silver/white girl. We both love her, but her bite is off, she has an underbite. I have a really nice young couple that are interested in a pet quality puppy that love her, but my co-breeder on the litter wants to wait another couple months to see if her bite corrects itself. She's in Florida, I have all the work, and another couple months means lots of extra work for me, and, if her bite doesn't correct itself, which my vet doesn't believe it will, this couple miss out on some baby puppy time. Don't think I'll want to do this co-breeding with someone else ever again, since nothing happens with these pups without both of us agreeing. Frustrating!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Those puppies are so cute.
Sorry to hear you are in disagreement with the co-owner. Not an easy thing to go through.
Todd is doing pretty good, but having side affects from his new blood pressure meds. They are making his joints sore, and his feet swell to the point it makes it hard to put his boots on in the morning for work. He told his Dr, and she says keep taking them, you will get used to it! He is not a happy camper.

Victoria Harbour, ON

I bet he isn't happy lindakay..he is on his feet all day is he not? Must be painful.

Yes, I believe they are a tad younger than yours.. Sharon had one that had an underbite a bit ago, did same, found a good home that loves him. Don't blame you for going it alone Deb..got to do it once to see how it works, now you know.

Guys came and went a couple of times today, storm last night did mega flooding in our regions so they got called a few times..I'm ok with it..more than 1/2 sub floor gone.

Funny thing, went in that room a few times as I'm purging paint..shows you how you do things without thinking..I come out of the room and loose my fitting..no more 4 step to walk down, throws me off.

Going to finish paints then I will go to dump, won't be a late night for sure..

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Linda, that is just so wrong for Todd. There are enough BP meds out there. Must be another that would work and not cause those problems. I know of course every thing has side effects, but it's just not right to expect him to suffer..

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Betty, yes he is on his feet all day, usually outside on the flight line fixing airplanes. Not fun at all.
Karen, I agree, there has to be different meds.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Omg, I'm with Karen..a, sure there is an alternative medthey can give him thatisnt going to fight his system.

Off to Midland, Lordy it's nice outside, great day tounload vehicle at the du

Still have 5 units to check over

If it looked like it was thick or dry out the paint bottle went

You keep purging and you will have an empty home.

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

It will be a sleepless night for me. One of my DGDs was riding home from school with a friend, He thought to impress her by hotdogging on a gravel road. Ended up hitting a tree. She started having seizures at the scene. In the hospital they did ct scan and then were unable to keep her awake. Trauma team did second scan, aren't seeing anymore damage or excess fluid but she won't stay awake. They plan to try wake her every hour through the night to check on her. I know my DD is staying with her and keeping me updated. We don't know where the boy is or his condition.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

OH NO! So sorry Karen. Sending lots of prayers.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Morning all, in high 40's predicted for today with rain in afternoon..

Oh Karen, prayers coming your way..hoping they soon find reason she can't stay away..bad concussion I would say..likely take awhile for brain to heal..hugs

Just filled another garbage bag with clothing and a box with bread maker and the likes..and no lindakay, have a long way to go before I've nothing left lol

Finishing my coffee then to Barrie I go, drop off a car filled with clothing and gadgets and a few additional stops and hope to be home by noon..would love to take battery out of rider and get it charged, rake a bit..that ought to fill in today

northeast, IL(Zone 5a)

Prayers being said for your DGD, Karen. Hoping for good news this morning.

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

DGD is awake finally and being evaluated. She seems much better and upbeat.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Praise God.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Karen, she is blessed, could have been so much worse..will they keep her in the hospital for a few days..hope so.

Head is pounding, went to Barrie early morning, got everything done, even went to the carpet supplier and picked vinyl flooring for craft room and washroom..then picked the friction vinyl planking I thing for the rest of bottom floor, want to check it out first though..it's the kind that is waterproof, no clicking planks together..will research a tad more

Went out breakfast with Linda and got home at noon as planned..Greg dropped in just as I was pulling in..looked at the basement, made a few suggestions then came upstairs to gab for a bit..asked him to bring me to midland tomorrow night to drop my car off for breaks, front brakes and aliakely back breaks..engine has been coming off on for a bit, that needs to be addressed..the is got quote on the small dent at back rear wheel well. Grrr always something..

I,said soon would be time to get another..with Kyle in the industry Greg said I should go see him about another and should have fpdone so before getting all fixed next week..nope too darn tired to drive back to barrie..before knew it we were inbarrie, he decided to drive me..

Love the smaller cars, one just a tad bigger than my sonic is the hatchback cruise,
More room inside and in trunk..head was pounding so told Kyle to figure everything out and I'd drop in on Monday..guess I will cancel brake job Monday, put it off for a few days and decide what I want to do

Too many decisions

Maryville, TN(Zone 7a)

Today was not a good day for DGD, She went backwards. She was kept again tonight. She is still not stable, goes into deep sleeps and having irregular heart activity. Echo Cardiogram was done and another ct scan.. She is also having balance issues. Bruising is starting to show up, probably from the seat belt & air bag. She was really wanting to go home but I'm glad they kept her.I am down state but across the state from where she is. DD knows where I am if she needs me.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Sorry to hear that Karen. Keeping everyone in our prayers.
