My ultrasound turned out clear, and had a nice day in Airdrie - went for Vietnamese noodle soup & got our hair cuts.

Calling it a day, doubtful I will sleep as I slept off/on the couch all day. At 7 went to make sure everything was off and played for a few hours soooo now it's bettybyes.

Hmm can't remember, did I tell you the young boy that stabbed Noah 2 years ago finally got sentenced..he pleaded guilty about a year ago but then battle was on, sentence in youth court, incident not appear on his record or adult court?
They decided to south sentencing BUT he must put in another full 3 years with no chance of parole..he will be 22 when he gets out.

Aunt Muriel finally came, I'm now off to Barrie, love driving when it's a sunshine day!

I've been up for hours and have got a lot done inside. My right thumb is telling me so..... I will listen. It is just the joint was so overworked when I did SG full time and now arthritis has set in....... again I will quote my dad 'this getting old is for the birds.' Think I will read for a bit then go out with the TH and toss blocks of wood around.You'd think with all this exercise I would lose weight but nope.

no longer morning is it..got up at 6:30 and headed downstairs..trying to make up for doing nothing yesterday.

Dividing my time between one roll on quilting machine and playing cut outs for the large center of the Christmas quilt I'm doing..while cutting mine I trace same for Sharon.

Dianne, cold here as well, steps need shovelling but tout I'd wait till afternoon night, that will be what -14 lol

Calling for freezing rain tonight..need potatoes for the chicken and sliders I have on but hate to go out, big sigh, mayvepbemaybe I'll just cook few I have now and add more tomorrow if roads permit.

went to church yesterday - it was lovely. You're right Betty - it's a possibility to sleep in as service is 9:15 and we're 20 min away. In June, the time will change to 11:15 and the other town will have our minister at 9:15.

Betty - how Could he just not call? Well, glad you got a nap anyway. Maybe he'll come a day late. Could have gotten caught up with some friends for the day and mean to come later?
Good that you have enough for you to eat anyway, without making any effort to speak of.

I believe I've turned the corner - doing much better with my knee. Sleeping sure helps.

Had a good rest yesterday,trying to get the aches and pains to go away from sitting in hospital chair and funeral home for 10 days! I have applied heat almost everywhere!
Re hydrating is big problem. Don't recall drinking any fluids during this time and my body feels it.

DH went back to work....at least for today. He called his father, he has no idea what he wants or needs. Appointment with lawyer today to figure some issues out.
I adore my FIL, but I can't handle him living here. I have done nothing but care for seriously sick children and parents for last 25 years...including my surgery that went wrong. I am burnt out and now need some care for myself which I am not doing well. He doesn't understand that. He thinks I am evil for thinking of myself. Took me a LONG time in life to know my limits.

Betty, sure hope Noah spends time with you and not a disappointment. He needs Ziggy loving maybe. We have 50s today...snow from yesterday is already melted but I don't know what rest of week holds.

Susan, so happy you are feeling better! Getting out with your regular routine and friends does your soul good.

Just got a call, Noah did text me, didn't check that just checked Facebook..said he was sorry, should have sent to both..will call again to come stay a few days

Debbie, that was a long drawn process for someone who is not well herself..don't you let them talk you into his staying with you, as you say, you are at the point of needing care...hugs. He likely would do better in a senior facility.

I don't envy Sharon coming home tomorrow, apparently mom is having major issues with Brian, Sharon's son who had lived with her almost all his life..a few weeks ago Sharon went to sort things out, almost out the door and mom started crying, I need him here..well she wants Sharon to come over and get him out again..I warned her, no games, if she does come and she gets him out, there is not coming back..hard dealing with the elderly and here we are almost elderly, but we are going to be different right?

Glad you made the church service Susan, only a few more sleeps and Susan will arrive..I guess you have to drive to Calgary airport? Is the new room cleaned where you could temporarily use it for her visit?

Debbie - glad you've found your limits - you DO need to take care of yourself! Good for you :-)

Well now, I do need to dust the Gallery wall again, and the shrine still needs a dusting. A really nice thing I checked off the air list, Straightened and levelled my front walk way and re-stacked the entire garden wall. This was when our winter took a break. That week & end it got into the 70's!! I took total advantage and even went for a walk to end of short side block, oh and it allotted time to re-pot all the house plants, doing ok...
Mean while, Worked on my craft room-not sure if I told you I re-organized it.

We had a some sad news from our friends. Joe had 3 tumors in his brain, removed 2 and the third is in a weird place. Biop came back as they are cancer, so they are making plans on the next moves. They are going to do a PET scan to see if any other cancer is there...Just so worried.
The same time, very good friend Dianne had another bout of fluid on her brain and has to have radiation treatment.. So while I wasn't in the mood to do too much of anything let alone thinking; Worked on all kinds of sorting. lol, cutting down all the scrap material into usable sizes and scaled down to one sewing tote.

Deb, you must be getting anxious for the puppies? this month right?? Can't wait to se0e the puppy pictures!

Am the same about checking for texts. I do have a cell but rarely use it so it isn't on my radar.

UPS was just here delivering a sideboard I ordered from Wayfair a week early.The bevelled bathroom mirror was also early too. The only thing I don't like about Wayfair is that everywhere I go online now something pops up from Wayfair.

Exciting time for you Susan ..... you know you are on the mend and your dear friend is soon on her way. Can't remember have the mudders come yet? They are so hard to pin down - well at least around here.

Karen I just love that picture with Apollo. He's my kind of dog!!! I find the bigger the dog the more gentle they are with kids. How are you feeling these days?

Nine more days to go Barb. Sending positive thoughts and prayers for you and Norm. Someone in the hospital will help you with the wheelchair Barb. Will they give him a walker for home or do they want him right up and walking? I know the last time I was in for the pit tumour I was on the Stroke/Heart Attack floor and they had a course marked out for the patients to walk around the floor.

This recliner is feeling a little too cozy. I went out early and brought lots of wood in because we are supposed to get lots of rain for 2 days. Then I worked cleaning up the yard on the west side of the house. Using the garden rake I could clean up after the dogs plus rake a lot of debris away. If you felt the earth tilt west awhile ago that was why. The east side of the house is still iced and frozen.
