Sorry to hear about the surgery delay Susan.
Betty, glad to hear you are home. With the storm arriving, you probably couldn't drive to Buffalo if you wanted to.
Best/Worse/What did I learn today?chat with friends old/new
Betty - truly sorry to hear about all the passings of family members - everyone must be so heartsick. 2016 has not been gentle on your family
So, Ziggy is now Satan, eh? lol funny
You need to be in your jammies and get some rest. Sorry that your mom has a cold, but now you can rest more.
The electrician is here, hooking up our addition. Thank Goodness, it will be done faster and completely.....
Haven't heard from knee surgeon's office yet. Bob's off mailing centers in our Round Robin - don't dare leave the house while I'm waiting for a call. You KNOW they'll call in the 15 min I step out of the house lol
I'm working on the 1st of 2 stocking caps for a friend in our community. They aren't quick to knit up.
Really stormy, likely not Lindakay, tomorrow is suppose to be worse
On 4th load of wash, absolutely everything smells of smoke, I'm blessed to have friends like Darlene and John so small price to pay..all that fabric I bough will smell like spring flowers. Lol
Does that mean Susan the addition will have hydro so Bob can work this winter finishing it up?
Lindakay, what have you been working on now that the family have returned home? Did you finish the snowman quilt?
I bought some patterns while I was away who knows what the weekend will bring lol
We have heat vents & soon full electricity in the addition.
He'll be able to do all work in the addition - insulation, drywall, floors, 1 door & 2 windows (to be done yet - have 2 windows in already, but need to install the 2 side lights and the outside door).
Well you are making progress
absolutely - progress. Just venting, is all.
Not working on anything but getting rid of this bronchitis. I started getting sick day before Christmas.
Yes I got all the quilts done, and they were the kids favorite gift. They all cuddled up in them.
Well I got Whammied...I came home after the quilt presentation, and went into chills. Still shivering with 4 blankets on. Next day felt worse, feverish, throwing up, hubby hauled me off to ER. Pneumonia again. Talked my way home today. had to argue a bit. Resp. therapist took off my oxygen and said I didn't need anymore breathing treatments. I told Dr. that the only thing I was getting there was antibiotics and I could take those at home. He finally agreed. I had to agree if it got worse again, I would come back in.
Of all things we have someone interested in seeing the house tomorrow. Well they will have to take us as they find us, I'm just not up to heavy cleaning.
Company arriving for the holiday, Grands and greats arriving from TN. And a few others from downstate. They all know I have to lay back and will take over for me.
Being taken care of sounds good to me.
LK & Karen - Prayers for your health. Bronchitis & Pneumonia!!! omgoodness!!
Karen - you're probably better off at home, frankly. Hear so much about hospital infections, and that's the last think you need to get, on top of pneumonia.
How wonderful that you have someone interested in buying your home! If they're truly interested, they'll overlook that "lived in" look and may actually appreciate it.
Our electrical in the den is done, thank goodness :-) Now the rest is up to Bob
Glad to hear you are making progress on your addition.
Karen, get some rest, and I hope you are feeling better soon.
No, I did not take any pictures. My son did and I am waiting for him to send them to me.
Glad to read you are home safe and sound Betty.
Hoping he sends the photos soon LK. Can't wait tp see them
.
Happy to hear things are going ahead Susan. Slowly but surelyl
Karen and all else needing healing prayers - mine are with you. I have been fortunate and only have had one cold since fall. I really think I got it because I don't get out of here enough in the cold weather. I need some fresh air so every day I go stand on the steps for a little while. I figure some fresh air is better than none. LOL
