I LOVE the snowman blanket and wish I had the time to get that made!!! Maybe next year.
My grandson was FUSSY and awful the whole time (other than 2 SHORT naps on my chest). From 1 to 11, the whole time I had him, I got nothing done. He is usually such an easy baby! he was slightly congested and I sent son out to get me an aspirator, or whatever those sucker things are called. Suctioned his nose several times. I am sure I am NOT his favorite person right now.
I had debated whether to agree to take Alexander because I had so much to do but they really needed a sitter as both parents were working then. Oh well...
how adorable is that?!?!?! Betty, you make the cutest things - yard ornaments, quilts, wall hangings, etc etc etc!!!
Bed time, got off my schedule,
Had company this afternoon then made pizza dip to take to neighbors for Christmas gathering.,felt bad as only 5 showed up, last year no room to move, think it was because it was on Sunday this year vs Saturday
Greg dropped in, starts his new job tomorrow, had a really nice winter jacked but it had Fred took ltd on it,so I picked the enrol derby out, tmr will do secondary lining and do same
When coming back from the due. It was nice out, mild, Rita just got here and said what a blizzard out there.
Rita will stay till Wednesday, nice having someone in the house.
WOW weather changed in a hurry! Glad you were safely home before it got nasty out.
Glad you are enjoying your gifts. The fudge is easy to make.
Oh mercy, I forgot about the Baileys fudge. Don't dare make it, I know I'd most likely put myself into the hospital.
wow, that is a lovely gift..love the placemats..yummy on the fudge, we used to make baily's for snowmobiling, drank some of them to try and keep warm..lol
bet having the table set with the placemats makes it festive.
I'm downstairs putting lanters together, Rita's upstairs working ..kind of funny
I forgot to add the bad of Chocolate Cherry Hershey's kisses to the picture. They were almost half gone when the photo was taken!
Good morning, We had a small snow last night. Everything was covered when I took Sam out at 11:30....total white out at 2:30 a.m. This morning I get up and the grass is showing again.
Having a small issue so am off Facebook til I get it sorted. Just need some changes with my security and clean up the computer.
DH and I both enjoyed the Community Christmas. He loves being the Santa.
After we went to visit his parents. His moms face seeing him was priceless.
I had them both get picture with Santa....his Dad didn't even protest. He has such a hard time moving but he wanted the picture side by side with Santa.
I am struggling with this new eating. Can't wait for the retest and hope it is lower and was just a fluke to have blood sugar so high.
My Santa Warren will be shipped tomorrow or Wednesday the latest! I had to order
something....and it is SUPPOSED to be here today. Was promised Saturday but no go.
Waving to all.....Have missed catching up.
Nice set of draft horses.
Your husband made a great Santa! I had a friend who was a BIG man, about 6'5" and he used to play Santa every year. When I have more time I'll tell you about when he played Santa at the Adult Christmas party, too funny!!
Beautiful pictures Debbie.
My Santa gift will be mailed on Wed. Sorry it took me so long. Not easy getting out to shop!!!
Cool Santa pics Debbie. How often is there a picture with your son as Santa. We used to have a neighbor come over on Christmas Eve and play Santa for us. We snuck him in, dressed him, and made him up and he was so good that even the adults didn't recognize him. Then he went home and knocked on his own door. His 3 year old daughter opened the door and said.." Oh hi daddy".
Santa Warren would say don't fret about getting your gift out...... the person receiving it would love it no matter when they got it.
I don't have any either Deb. My boys were terrified of him..... I'm sure my daughter would have just climbed all over him but I never took her thinking it would not be good.
My mother said I would shake hands with the devil himself for a piece of candy, guess it was NO problem for me!
Great photo's, could tell when we met up at Cracker Barrel and Paul was talking about his upcoming gig being Santa and showing photo's of previous years just how much it meant to him doing so..glad he and his dad have a photo to cherish.
My dad was Santa all the years I was growing up,everyone would meet at grandma's, most would go to midnight mass, grandma would have meat pies and goodies waiting then Santa would come, never knew why my dad was never present but as a child it didn't register that the Santa was dad..then Roger took the job over for our family and the community, will have to look for photo's
As you can see, another sleepless night in Victoria harbour..
Heard Rita go into the washroom, when she came out I said good morning, she said GO TO SLEEP lol. No can do
Will give her time to fall back asleep then will tiptoe past her room and head downstairs
Morning all,
Does one good to get up at 3:30a.m.
just about ready to take the 'My Canada" quilt off the frame, will cut binding and sit and relax upstairs doing hand sewing..
One more must project to do before Sunday so hurrah, almost there
wanted to ask, Debbie, did you work with the boys on their projects?
Dianne, did your snow stay? we've about 3-4 inches left, not on the roads though, think after today it will all but be gone..hoping we having a little for Sunday, more to hide the mess out in the gardens..make it look clean lol
Glad the girls didn't come today..gives me an entire day to play catch up with my own things...
Rita is just on her way out, needs to do a few things at her place before Tuesday's closing.
what are you all up to today, starting to get a plan in order for the Christmas holidays???

Betty, I have cut out a bunch of 6 inch squares and am sewing the together for the snowman quilt. How big is the top part, under the snowman heads? 18 inches?
Next time I'm downstairs I will. Measure but believe it's 12" in height
Thanks Betty.
Betty I have not had the boys for a few days. I have everything set up for when the little one comes, but Aunt has been taking him to get some things done for Christmas. He is excited to do his project. The 12 year old is in wrestling and he has been going to meets at the school.
Paul has his surgery Thursday morning in Rochester. Don't you know we are expecting a big storm Wednesday into Thursday!!! I am trying to get some things done here before I am stuck home with him for 2 weeks. He is not a good patient.
I am still on kitten watch. Both are in my garage or on back porch. They are getting friendlier....but now I don't know if she is pregnant or well fed and fat!!!
I think the black one is male and the father. Can get my hands on either....but we are making progress.
Debbie, what is Paul having surgery for? Nothing serious I pray!
He got hurt at work....months back. Tried to wait it out, heal it himself and time. Finally doc sent for MRI. His thumb joint and tendon there is ripped very badly. He has to have the thumb joint fused together. The "fix" probably would only last a few months....because he is very active at work. SO decided to do a fuse. It is the lower joint on his thumb. I am not happy with decision but it is his thumb
Ouch!
Whatever you do Debbie don't send the storm my way..
Drats that is not good seeing you will be the one driving Paul or will he be kept a day or two? Does the cat get friendlier as time is closer to deliver?
Hooe the boys can do their project..
Lindakay, was 12"
Been up since 3:30am
Got the my Canada quilt quilted, hand sewed binding and now in the wash
Didn't have a nap, Rita just came in, finished cleaning her house, got her hair done, got a message from lawyers that Gerry after 3 years finally signed all the papers so she is a happy camper..
Goal is to stay up till 8 or so and see if doing so I can get a good nights rest..this no sleep is for the birds
I hope the sleep angels find you tonight.
Just crawled into bed, sure hope I sleep in till about 5am
Debbie, alert came, getting same storm thursday
When at winter weather warnings yesterday and I high-tailed it home from my sisters yesterday. Good chance we will get freezing rain before the end of the week.
An office co-worker combed out 2 of the dolls I took to work and she is willing to do more! OH Happy day! I can focus on washing and setting hair instead of getting all the tangles out first!
Pat, I will drive in a blizzard but freezing rain, not!
Glad your coworker will help out in the coiffure department, will get you closer to your goal..thought you had decided to put to bed the doll project till the new year?
Sleep evades me, been downstairs and put the snowman quilt on the frame, having a coffee, trying to be quiet as not to wake up Rita, oops, think I've failed, can hear her moving around..oh oh
She goes home today, will miss having the company although I've pretty much stayed downstairs while she worked upstairs.

Good morning all, and a good morning it is...
Who but me and my friends who also have a problem sleeping meet up at 7am for coffee??
With Rita leaving this morning they wanted to come to give me Christmas gifts..
Last year they gave me the nativity scene, this year The matching nativity wreath
and..here goes, Ziggy!!!
Let me introduce you to this loving male kitty..Lordy, won't leave my side
Debbie, mid I have one kitty I might as well have 2
Waiting for your to be born..
Awwww Ziggy looks like he will be a perfect crafting companion for you.
Oooooooh....I LOVE Orange kitties!!! I call them Marmalade kitties. AND the ones I have had were (and are) the best. My Huck is example. Is this the kitty your niece had? Just love it....and the name is perfect!
Yes, storm is coming and my bones are throbbing. I am heading to the store to stock up because won't be able to get out for a few days with DH.
AND I need more paint for our project.
Will be back later
yes, already into everything
seems to take to one of my floral arrangements
Rita just left..kyle dropped in for a visit, Rita was helping me put up my stained glass snowflake, needed to center a hook, kyle dropped in, sat on the couch and I heard crunch..only one blade of the snowflake broke, will call the stained glass studio to see if they have more of same and I'll repair it..he felt so bad.
yes Debbie, amongst them they felt I'd love Ziggy because of her being so loving, could have said no I guess but they left, she stayed..maybe it was because I was up so early and didn't have time to think straight.
because I could not sleep last night got the last of the christmas quilts on the frame, will work on it and who knows, perhaps tonight I can do the binding, then fini
