Will do a write up for Santa Warren Christmas Exchange in a bit but for now I'll do list of participants, need to go back into threads and read who asked to be out on the list.
Final day for adding names is Novemerber 1st..Dianne and Thundering Herd will provide us with our name either the 2nd or 3rd.
Christmas exchange items can be homemade or store bought
Each know their budget and so no set dollar amount, we will cherish whatever is sent
Mail out date to ensure you get them before Christmas is November 25th
To date:
Dianne
Betty
Lindakay
Barb
Debbie

Give them both hugs!
Will do Lindakay
Can you think of someone I may have missed on Santa Warren Christmas exchange..will check with "M" this afternoon, think Debbie said to add her name, Judy? No time right now to get to old threads
I will go back and check.
The best I can find for names are You, Dianne, Barb, Debbie and myself.
I just called Judy, she said to add her name, she will send a message to Liz, and see if she wants to join.
Debbie was asking for the mailout date, so I am assuming she wants to join?
"M", are you joining the Santa Warren exchange?
Hope she will Lindakay..thanks, added Debbie to the list, if she hadn't intended on joining in she can let me know
Also, thanks for new link, odd, Susan had replied on old thread, I added link after her post and zap, gone into cyberspace
Thanks
Woo hooo! Duke's favourite vet tech was there today. His face just lights up when he sees her. Kayla was able to get some blood to send off for testing.Diesel's meds were ready and he is to start this next batch today. Still 5 1/2 pills each day.
I had never done this before but I went to Foodland with Duke in the Escape. I parked in a spot close to the store where he could see inside. He was watching for me and when he saw me at the cash he had a big doggie smile on his face. He sure had to go through the third degree when he got in the house.
Rain all day. Very gloomy outside.
Hopefully M, Lorna and our Betty met up with no hassles. I say that as once W and I were to meet a couple at a huge outdoor art show. We were both there on time but on opposite sides of the building.
LK how are you feeling today?A scare there with your BP.
BBL
Dianne and her TH

Oh my I hope everyone is OK. Betty I am glad you are home. Nasty, rainy weather here - as my sweet dad would say "it's not fit for man nor beast."

Sorry you missed them Betty.
We're you at the casino Rama?

Ugggg
Talk about so near, and yet, so far away.
We were in the casino while you were in the buffet area
Left at 4 to wait at the main entrance
Waited til 5 and sauntered back into the casino
Feel so bad ,
M
The buffet is in the casino "M"
Likely passed you when I went to hotel to look for you and call up to your room
Did you and Lorna not get my voice mail saying where I would wait for you..the only buffet in the facility..called around 3pm saying I'd be there at 4:30
Big sigh
SO sorry you two missed each other. How disappointing - so near, and yet so far....
Sorry you missed each other. We rely on cell phones and sometimes they let us down.
yes add me too :)
Hey Pat and Liz, nice to see you both here.
Morning all
Second that Lindakay, miss you guys
Added you Liz
What date shall we have as mail out
Body is so achy today, think it will be an acorn chairlift day lol
I think Dec 1 is good. That being said if you have your parcel ready before mail it. But wait how is mail service in the US? I just had a parcel from US and it took over 2 weeks. So chime in and let us know what date you think would be better?
Most of my items mailed to Canada, take 2 weeks.
Betty, don't forget to add Judy to the list.
Don't add me, too much going on here. Ben's oral surgery has been a bloody pain. At least today he didn't wake up in a pool of blood.
My Dad has been in the hospital since Tuesday and may discharge today. Colonoscopy did not show any serious issues now but the impaction he had may have tore an internal hemorrhoid and that is what was causing the blood in BM. TMI? lol anyhow, all fixed.
Yes Betty, I wanted added to the Santa Warren and the Christmas craft
Has been crazy here. Between raining and the errands and appointments.
Got to my appointment yesterday for testing and shots....Doc said No can do Miss...you are infected!!! Bad sinus infection. Came home with Zpac, a sinus flush bottle with meds and an nose spray. I was just thinking wicked sinus headache....nope. So have to go back Nov. 1 for injections (flu/pneumovax) and
have more bloodwork 2 weeks after.
Betty, happy you made that appointment finally! Good girl
So sorry you and M missed each other.
Dianne & Betty, we have had steady rain last two days and said no break til Sunday.
Trying to keep up....be patient! lol
Debbie waving to Judy, Liz, Pat and everyone.....
Sounds like we are both in the same boat with that darn sinus infection.
I hope you are feeling better soon. Mine is finally starting to let up a little bit. I felt much better after my shower this morning.
Sinus infections are just NASTY - and lingering!! I hope any sinus infections are dealt with quickly and well.
Betty - thank goodness for the stair lift!!!
Hi Betty and Everyone!!
Well, so to not be around, everything has been just insane again.
Tomorrow, Sabrina is hosting a Halloween party here, so been busy cleaning up the place, I'm making meatballs to the food table.
Anyway, First thank you all for keeping my friend Dianne in your prayers. She had a liquid tumor removed from her brain. I'm waiting to hear from Bill if she is up yet.
it was a little over 10 hrs. But the Doctors said it all went well, Thank God.
Second, I am too excited to keep quiet so I got to tell you...I landed a phone interview for Tuesday morning. OMG, time to come out of retirement, the job is minutes away, in an office, with benefits and retirement and full time! And you'll never believe, doing pretty much what I was doing at McDougal...Like seriously, someone pinch me!!
Also, my gosh I have thought of all of you, hope that all is well.
Thank you Linda kay for the call about Santa Warren's exchange. wouldn't miss it..
Betty glad you and Debbie got to see each other, bummer on missing M.
M, happy Way-Belated birthday, beautiful car for Lorna
Well, I have lots to catch up on...
The best part of my crazy summer, I got to See Lizrainy!!! Had a fabulous visit.
Will, be free from pretty much everything to sit and visit after tomorrow's last big event
Just wanted to say Hi, winks and armwraps.
Wonderful to see you Judy. The Santa Warren exchange wouldn't be the same without you!!!! Looking forward to it.'
Betty, when do you need $$ for the Christmas project?
wow Judy - a Job Interview? You're coming out of retirement and you would get retirement benefits in the job? lol
I always say, if you want it, I hope you Get It!!
I'm not feeling well - upset tummy, cold sweats, just generally feeling awful.
Going to head off to sleep now
Morning all
Went grocery shopping this morning, not a soul in the store..didn't take me long, no line ups. Lol
Judy how wonderful to see you post..lets hope the interviewers find they can't do without you..now we need to see photo's of your vacation with Liz..think had I known when you were going I might have surprised both of you..have fun at the Halloween gathering, you always enjoy such parties, no hangover girl
Barb, other than a few 'to do's' this weekend I will cut out the propose T and see what size of box is needed then I'll have a better idea of price, goal is always trying to make it as cheap as possible! I'm sending it out Nov 18th while in Buffalo so would be great once I know amount that you can send it out that way is covers cost of postage.
Susan, hope you wake up feeling better. What hipped a documentary n Calgary Stampede this morning, what an event
Debbie and Lindakay, feel for you both, no fun being so I'll..Debbie I'll ask my doc when I see him on the 10th if I should have pneumonia shot..best I make a list so I don't forget to ask
Deb, Sharon is at a dog show in Texas this weekend, not something you go to?
Pat sorry to hear Ben's health is still not the best..big chance doing oral surgery with his condition was it?
Dianne just to be sure I slated week before, put it in the details at beginning of this thread just incase..will work great for me seeing I'm in Buffalo on nov 18 so if my buddy is state side I can post it then..will have to find out if "M" is in
Good luck with the interview, Judy!
I haven't been to a dog show, other than the Afghan National show in Rhode Island, since July. With the knee surgery, I sent Bonnie to Florida, she's still there. Klaus, who I'd planned to show once the knee was better, went to a groomer I've used a few times in the past, he had some tangles on his chest that she shaved off, even though I had told her to never shave anything, to leave it and I'd work on it, and she'd worked out tangles in the past. It will probably be next spring before it's grown in enough for him to be shown again. So, no one to show here. Bonnie was in Atlanta Thurs and Friday, now no shows for her until mid November. Next weekend we're trying out a racing test with some of the kids. It sounds like a 100yd dash for dogs. They're timed and earn points toward a racing title. It should be fun.
You've quite the schedule Deb, you so remind me of Sharon..because of all she does with her dogs I've a good knowledge of how much time and $$$ you spend ..you are so very committed.
Coffee time, was sitting hand sewing Velcro on the Halloween pants and had a knock at the door, the young man who did my yard last year asking if I still wanted him to do fall clean up...sure do..he will also do house gutters and cut tree branches that are over the roof..big sigh of relief, rather pay $$$ than physically doing it myself..they start now and do what is down and then do it several times again before snow comes..he is hoping snow stays away for another 3 weeks at least
Morning everyone. Judy, nice to see you posting again. You are one busy lady. Good luck with the interview.
It was nice and cool here in Texas this morning. 52. Fall has finally arrived.
Lordy Lordy, did I not just hours ago say I have little to do this weekend??
Started with Robitaille asking about yard work
Then Kyke dropped in for an hour, bringing with him car quotes (not that I'm looking to buy right now), thought I might be interested in a lease, NOT..
Robitaille's crew arrived, started already, said they would be back 3 or 4 more times to get rest of the leaves still to fall and limb trees
Linda called to remind me that she and Rachael (DGD) would be here about 8:30 in the am to do Halloween project so off I went And cut 3, one for me, Linda and Rachael
Then Jeff called, said he and the boys would leave the city at 9:00 am tomorrow and would spend the day, yikes, took spaghetti sauce out of the freezer along with pie crust, will do a lemon meringue pie and apple cake for desert
Ran into midland for treats for the boys, dropped in and got a spool of aurafil thread, you stateside gals who sew will choke. $15.80 hmm last time I buy it in midland, am sure Barrie is much cheaper
As soon as I organize myself I want to start cutting a dg Christmas lantern
So there goes a doing almost nothing kind of weekend

Your day filled up quickly.
oh Betty - does your young man do construction? If so, send him over here lol
Judy - I must have missed something - you had/are having knee surgery?
Bob's heading out to do some work. Yesterday he took out a window that's now on an inside wall. I'm hoping he can start on the roof........ soon?
I'm feeling better today - just a bit of a runny nose.
I'm knitting scarves now - I did the 2nd poncho and much happier with it. The 1st one isn't too bad now that I'm adjusted it.
For some unknown reason, our Gas co has not been billing us. I spoke to their Head Office and they said they had a system error and all of their customers were not getting charged. Told them I want to eat my elephant in small bites........
They've gotten to the bottom of it, now - to see what my start up and ongoing fees are since August....... We have a gas stove and gas heat.
Wish he did Susan, I've mega projects I want done but for me I will settle for the outside...so hope you get the roof on and shingled so then you've all winter to finish the inside. Sounds as though you are on a mission getting poncho's done..now you've got the pattern/wool figured out won't take you long to do others...
I worked on mine last night, finished body, now ready for cowal neck
I must learn to count, cut out 4 witch hat projects, guess Melanie will get a finished piece lol
Debbie, saw this photo and couldn't resist posting for you...where was this field when we got lost near Bev's
