Girls just left, Darlene dropped in, she is leaving thanksgiving for Florida, seems like yesterday she came home...of course with the girls urging gave her the teddy..knew she would shed a tear..now to pick up the other teddy.

While the girls were working on their projects I got the new accuquilt fall die out and made a runner, will quilt it later..will send it to my goddaughter along with painted pumpkin piece

I can imagine Darlene was surprised and HAPPY (and teary) re the Teddy .. if he Mom wore perfume, it would still be on the fur .. that's why I cherished my Moms .. don't think I'll ever get over the fact it was tossed out with no regard ..

The next few days are going to be confusing .. funeral for my bud's hubby is Thursday at 1:30 ..but, we also have our high school dinner that night .. for me, it's a stretch as I live out of the city .. thinking I'll pass on the dinner ..
As well .. will be going to the dinner with Jo and her hubby Ken is having hip replacement surgery that day .. we are going to the funeral together .. but I think I just want to come home after ..
Probably will have my mind changed LoL

"m" funerals are hard, emotions are so raw That one just wants to go home afterwards.. Maybe everyone will understand and you can do so.

I too have been watching Karen's reno's, they sure are getting them done in record time.

Linda and joanne are coming this morning for the day, Linda thought she would like to try some Christmas mug rugs, she was somewhere yesterday that had Xmas mugs die 49 cents, must have been value village lol. Joanne who knows, maybe just a visit..as for me, want to finish the Halloween piece and do some sewing.

sat and did the binding on the fall runner last night, likely Linda will take it, the wood piece and a mug rug set with her to give to her daughter for me.

Betty, you are warmer than Texas. 63 here this morning. Will be mid 80's this afternoon.

About 15 minutes left and I can sew on binding of Halloween quilt, girls don't come till 9 so just might get it done..while they sew I can hand sew binding

Wonder how much will be done for our anniversary, Oct 10th (Cdn Thanksgiving)
Tomorrow we're going to Calgary, to see my knee Dr, and to see our GP re: Bob's finger, my eye & toe (I have a lump on bottom eyelid - not bad, but likely from infection I got when I had pink eye, and I think I have a tiny infection on my left big toe. I'm medicating both my toe & eye.
Bob thinks he may have lost some nerves at tip of his finger.

Betty I was referring to the witch at Michael's you "had to have" and I thought you went back and got it. I may be wrong. I haven't seen it there since.

Yes driving to Betty's. My first "long" road trip alone. I think is about 5 hours from here. However long it takes Betty is an hour longer for me.

So excited don't know if I will sleep.

I'm excited!! Bob has the first wall up for our den! The really tough part (in my opinion) is done - the base structure and the floor! Bob really impresses me! It would be nice, but not expected, for it to be completed for our Anniversary on Oct 10th - that's also Canadian Thanksgiving. I give thanks to our Lord for my DH Bob - he's a wonderful man!!
btw - Calgary funds are more than I expected, and we'll get them next Wed or Thurs. Whichever it is, I'm thankful :-D

DGD goes to see an orthopedic doctor on Friday. She's been pretty quiet this week, still hurting.
I got the OK from my orthopedic surgeon on my knee. I finished the therapy, and he said it's healing well, and said he thought it looked really good! He said to start up any exercise program slowly, but no need to go back!
Debbie, your trip to visit Betty sounds like fun!! I hope you have good weather for driving.

Oh Debbie you have no idea how much I wish I was traveling with you!!! I ran out of Timmies quite a while ago but Norm can get me some in Maine now. He has to go there occasionally so I will ask him to pick some up. Have a safe ride and know my thoughts are with you....

Today is the funeral .. Jo went to the prayers last evening, and, I think she won't be at the funeral itself as her DH is having his hip replacement surgery this morning .. I caved on the dinner tonight,not going .. we barely missed 3 deer going into and out of town yesterday .. the Bucks are moving, and, the Does want none of it !!

Morning everyone. 68 this morning, but will get to mid 80's. Beautiful weather.

Dylan is doing so much better. He is loving the new foods. The day after he got home from the hospital, Grandma, (Heather's Mom) came over for a visit. She brought McDonald's with her for Dylan, and Heather came unglued. Told her that crap is not allowed in the house!

Thinking if she left at 10 as she thought she would have an hour's drive to Lewiston, give her 1/2 hr to go through border then 3 hrs here (perhaps 1/2 extra when you are not sure where you are going) and maybe 1/2 hr stop should get her here between 3pm

Hello everyone.

Very dull day here and cool. Not cold enough to have a fire though.

The TH are going crazy. The chipmunks are busy harvesting their winter food. All of our windows are just about 1 ft from the floor. So the sassy chippies come right up to the window stirring the TH up.

Hope Debbie has a good traveling up to Betty.On Tues. when I went to get my teeth fixed there were 4 radar traps set up. All 4 of them had someone pulled over.

Wooden bleachers are pretty unforgiving !! DGS team, The Tigers, lost to the , Vikings .. was a good game, junior team, first time out .. they'll learn :-)
